Ibis Cornella

If you’re renting a car, this is a perfect place to stay. The location is convenient with easy access to the highway. You can park your car at the hotel and walk about 10 minutes to a metro station with a direct line to central Barcelona. The room is simple but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful and nutritious, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The price is very competitive. I stayed for three nights and was very satisfied.

It is approximately 30 minutes by train from Barcelona. The train is easily accessible, although the process of purchasing tickets can be a bit confusing at first. However, it's not too challenging. A few local places to eat, close to the Airport. The hotel room was a bit small, but comfortable. I was upset that after the room was serviced, they forgot to refill the soap, shampoo, and toilet paper. We asked for bigger towels because the ones they provided are ridiculously small and old. I wish I had done that the first day instead of waiting.

The room is big. Because it is located in a suburban area, wash cups are provided, but the room has a peculiar smell, probably because it has not been ventilated for a long time. The toilet and bathroom are relatively large.

They will hold your luggage before check in and after check out for free. It's not too far from the FGC line and there is a bus stop nearby. A shopping mall is also a short walk from the hotel.

Check in process was slow and they had issues with the room keys. Fortunately, we requested another towel and they were quick to provide one.

The room was pretty spacious for three people. There were plenty of places for storage and the beds were comfortable.b The bathroom was also decently sized and there was a ledge for more storage. The TV had access to YouTube which was a nice bonus. The air conditioning worked, the shades blocked the sun, and the room was quiet on the first floor.

The biggest flaw of this hotel is the location. If you are a tourist, this is a little too inconvenient to reach the airport and downtown by public transport. Taxi rides are not cheap and the public transport costs can add up. It's a 2 hour walk if you want to see some sights. It is good for seeing Montserrat as the FGC line is nearby.

GreatMy wife and I had a wonderful short stay at Hotel Ibis Barcelona Cornella. The room was small but very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, just what we needed for a relaxing night.

One of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic free parking lot, which is a huge advantage in Barcelona. It was spacious and easily accessible, making our trip stress-free.

Additionally, the hotel’s location is excellent. Just a few steps away, there’s a commercial area with plenty of options for all meals, making dining very convenient.

Finally, we must mention the staff—all the employees we met were extremely kind and welcoming, adding to the positive experience.

Overall, a great value-for-money hotel, perfect for a short stay!

I went to Barcelona on a business trip and checked hotels in advance. Most hotels charge for parking. So I found a hotel with free parking. This one was free. European hotels are standard. Just bring your own toiletries. Nothing else.
