Sercotel Caspe

Had a lovely stay! The staff were very friendly and helpful which made us feel pleasantly welcomed, the room was amazing and clean we were amazed by the big comfy bed. The breakfast was very good and tasty there is something for everyone and the cleaners did a great job in the room each day.

We had a delightful stay at Secrcotel Caspe. Upon our arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find a thoughtful congratulations message and complimentary sweets awaiting us. This personalized touch added a memorable element to our stay. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, providing everything we needed. The hotel's location near local attractions was also a big plus for us. Special thanks to the staff who were friendly and accommodating throughout our visit. Pros: excellent location, about a 5 minute walk to the Metro, within a 15 minute walk to many popular attractions. the rooms were large with strong air conditioning. our bathroom was clean and large with both a walk in shower and a separate bathtub. staff speak english. We were able to get a discount as we booked during the summer which made our room less expensive than comparable ones in the area. large grocery stores nearby. quiet area (we did not have a window to the outside).

Cons and Concerns: they did not have blackout curtains so we needed to wear eye masks. we requested a quieter room so they gave us a corner room overlooking the interior "courtyard". However the first room we got had a weird smell to it. we opened the window and it got even worse. We got a room change for a similar room and opened the window (overlooking the interior) and still there was a bad smell coming in. So we just kept the window closed the whole time and kept the AC on which prevented the smells. Staff were quick and friendly to address our concerns immediately. I am still not sure what the smell is.

Overall: I would come here again for sure for its convenience at the right price.

Great location close or within reasonable walking distance of city attractions. Staff is courteous and professional. On site restaurant is nice. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and modern. Breakfast Buffet area is nicely decorated and has a large selection to include great coffee. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

It is clean and nice hotel. The room was cleaned every day. There was coffee, tea, kettle and refrigerator. The breakfasts was varied and delicious. It is close to bus stations and metro.
The only thing we couldn’t understand that why housekeeper washed or changed our coffee cups. The cups waited 4 days with coffee and i guess the housekeeper was stubborn not to clean them.

I had a very good stay in hotel Caspe. The rooms were clean and had a regular cabinet with doors in the room. Nice shower and bathroom but no working bath because of water savings in barcelona. The TV had a weird behavior that it would freeze during some days but it would come back after pulling the plug for a few seconds but that didn't bother me as most of the time I was too tired to watch tv.

Our room was comfortable. Location was good with easy access to what we wanted to do.

There are some very good places to eat with easy walk.

There were some minor problems.

A light in the ceiling over the desk didn't work. They removed it but didn't replace it or fix it before we left the next day.

I didn't like how the faucet splashed water around the sink.

I made a reservation in Booking and there wasn't a proper description and photos of the types of rooms I can book and I ended up booking a Basic room. I do not recommend this type of room, because it does not have a actual window and no fresh air comes in. Therefore the room and the bathroom especially had this very heavy and unpleasant smell. There is air conditioning, but that made things even worse. Overall the room and the bathroom were not clean enough and there were stains on the sheets, so we were ready to leave. On the other hand we talked to the hotel staff and they were absolutely amazing and kind and they upgraded our room for the rest of our stay. The other room was absolutely perfect, no problems, real window and was amazing. So overall, the hotel is great, perfect location, amazing staff, but just be careful with the type of room you book and I would recommend avoiding the Basic room. Also, better book directly from the Sercotel website so there is no confusion what are you booking.
