Hotel Los Girasoles I in Granada

Terrible hotel staff very little English rooms tiny no fridge no safe, no lift,bathroom tiny went to reception to look for some ice to cool my drink the hotel had no ice, parking 19 euro a day rip of,ill never stay here again

If i can put 0 star, I would.

Rooms are extremely small, bed is side to side with all walls so you don’t have even space to move on the room.

There is no elevator, so if you have luggage good luck.

After we asked the receptionist that we want to cancel our reservation, she said that as we already did the check-in, the cancellation fee is the price of the whole amount of the reservation, to take into account that we just entered the room and we discovered that the room is not at all like the pictures and it is really small and the fact that there is no elevator.

We were able to get another room on the ground floor at least we no longer had to climb 2 levels of stairs but the room was full of dust and we were really hearing absolutely everything happening around the reception, so saying that it was a nightmare with an 8 months old baby.

All the receptionist were putting music even during the night.

I will not say a word about the baby size bed or the hot water which you need a decade for the hot water to arrive.

I don't recommand at all this hotel, but to be honest the two good things to add are:

- It is really well situated and close to bus going to Alhambra and Albayzín.
- We were late for the check out but they didn’t fee us.

Hire with gluten-free breakfast, it turns out that the hotel does not have a cafeteria, you have to go out to a restaurant nearby. The restaurant toasts your bread in the same toaster as everyone else, so there is cross contamination, and they put things together on large pallets where they put all the knives and everything is also contaminated. We complained to the hotel and they told me that the cafeteria told them that they did gluten-free but they never confirmed it.. very bad. They have left us all without breakfast for two days. On the other hand, you cannot receive calls to the room, which I don't understand because why is there a phone in the room?

The photos make you think that the hotel is better than it is. The closets are tiny and you won't fit in the bathroom if you have to take a child down in the shower. We will not repeat for sure. Breakfast outside, in a different bar every day, and the receptionist did not give us the ticket for the child to have breakfast. A shame of a hotel.
