Poseidon La Manga Hotel & Spa - Designed for Adults

We have just arrived home from a wonderful 2 week holiday at Poseidon. Everything was perfect, except the housekeeping in the room. Our bedding was not changed until we had been there 12 nights, and this was after reception had to remind the cleaners. Our toilet was not cleaned for 4 days, and even that wasn't done properly. We had to keep asking for toilet rolls (or help ourselves from the cleaners trolley)
What a shame about all this because the reception staff were very good, waiting staff in the dining room and bar staff were fantastic, and so polite and friendly.

We do not like to complain, but the maintenence of our room lets the hotel down.
Having said this, we would stay again.

The rooms are a bit dated but clean. Their spa facilities are very nice. Staff don't really speak English but very helpful and food is very good. The area is nice, beach is very close. Not many shops/restaurants around so we were happy we ve chosen full board. Would recommend it overall if you are looking for a few days to relax.

We had a wonderful stay at Poseidon La Manga and would highly recommend it, though there are a few areas for improvement.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, particularly in the spa. Their warm hospitality added greatly to our experience. The spa itself was fantastic, providing the perfect atmosphere for relaxation and rejuvenation. The pool was great, clean, and refreshing, making it an excellent spot to unwind. Additionally, the hotel's location right next to the beach was perfect, offering an ideal getaway for chilling and doing nothing. The breakfast offerings were delightful, with pancakes, churros, waffles, and a variety of fresh fruits.

There are a few areas where the hotel could improve. Initially, we were given a room with a subpar sea view, obstructed by another hotel, and located right outside the lift, which was not ideal. However, we were relocated the following morning to a room with a perfect sea view and away from the lift, which greatly improved our stay. While our new room was better, the noise issue wasn't fully resolved due to inconsiderate guests letting doors slam. Installing mechanisms to help doors close quietly would be a valuable improvement.

The dinner options lacked clear vegetarian choices. While I'm sure the staff would have accommodated us if we had asked, it would be beneficial to have clearly labeled vegetarian options available.

Overall, Poseidon La Manga provided a great experience with friendly service, excellent amenities, and a prime location. With a few tweaks, it could be even better. Despite the minor issues, we had a fantastic time and would love to return.

Great location and good hotel. Stayed 6 nights half board. Food basic and very repetitive. If you like chips you will be happy. Dinner was always basic. You will not go hungry, but there is little imagination with the food. Breakfast again is basic with low grade food and repetitive. I would recommend the hotel but don't expect too much from the food.

The hotel is very nice and the staff are all friendly & helpful. We ate dinner in the restaurant one night, the food was good but the drinks were much more expensive than if you buy them directly from the bar. We found an hour in the Spa more than enough time, 2 hours are on offer, but there wouldn’t be enough there to fill the time in. One very nice touch I have to mention was the bottle of cava on ice, along with 2 glasses left in our room as a treat for my birthday. We would stay again.

The hotel is nice, good breakfast and nice staff. The SPA is a ripoff. 1 sauna broken, the other 2 very dirty to the point you could see soil on the floor, the temperature was not adequate at all. The hygiene in the relaxation room is zero. The lockers are cold.
