Receptionists: 6/10. Two or three employees are unfriendly.
The cleaning is terrible; they do it as quickly as they can, without realizing what really needs to be cleaned. You have to call the reception staff several times to get them to listen to your requests.
Service from the other restaurant and bar staff: Excellent. 11/10. Everyone is very kind and professional.

The hotel is nice and the food is excellent.
However, it would be great if the rooms were cleaned more thoroughly, especially when it comes to dusting.
Also, the staff could be more welcoming, particularly in the bar and spa areas

We have just arrived home from a wonderful 2 week holiday at Poseidon. Everything was perfect, except the housekeeping in the room. Our bedding was not changed until we had been there 12 nights, and this was after reception had to remind the cleaners. Our toilet was not cleaned for 4 days, and even that wasn't done properly. We had to keep asking for toilet rolls (or help ourselves from the cleaners trolley)
What a shame about all this because the reception staff were very good, waiting staff in the dining room and bar staff were fantastic, and so polite and friendly.
We do not like to complain, but the maintenence of our room lets the hotel down.
Having said this, we would stay again.

The rooms are a bit dated but clean. Their spa facilities are very nice. Staff don't really speak English but very helpful and food is very good. The area is nice, beach is very close. Not many shops/restaurants around so we were happy we ve chosen full board. Would recommend it overall if you are looking for a few days to relax.

Out of season this hotel caters more for the Spanish clientele, the receptionist older gentleman was great, the younger gentleman receptionist was rude when we went to check out as straight away assumed we were late checking out and went on the computer to see if he could charge us for late check out where instead we were checking out a day early no questions asked why we were leaving early to which I would have replied noise! The nose of everyone slamming their doors is horrendous every day and night constant. I have never known a 4 star hotel not have soft closing doors! So if you want a quiet hotel to chill at do not go here

Nice hotel, spacious room, clean. Pleasant outdoor area with pools. Dinner buffet was massiv and good. Breakfast was delicious.

When I arrived there I felt like I just went back in time about 20-30 years. So outdated! Dirty, old stuff, very noisy, cleaning ladies with miserable faces every day, not doing their job properly, bed very badly made ever day, floor not clean properly, bathroom hardly touched, cups always left dirty.Food- terrible. Was 3 of us and in the room only one small bottle of water waiting for us, empty fridge. Air conditioner - God knows when they were cleaning it last time, aufull smell was coming out, I couldn't stop coughing. There is a kettle and set with teas and coffee (2 sachets of coffee only), the next day we asked the receptionist if the coffee can be refilled, we been told that it's only for welcoming guests.How poor....
The only one good thing - location!
Beautiful views, not crowded beach and breezy so you don't feel sweaty even middle of the summer. I really recommend the area but definitely not this hotel, not worth it even half what we paid for.
