We found a good deal for a three bedroom apartment and were very happy with our stay. The proximity next to Alicante airport makes it very convenient. It is close to the airport but you don’t hear the planes! It is also close to Alicante if you want to visit the city. We stayed on two occasions and at first we enjoyed the pool area as it is excellent for small children. It is also not too busy or crowded. The rooms were spacious and clean. But on our second visit we got an apartment at the main pool which unfortunately became noisy all night. The room isolation isn’t terribly great unless you have the back rooms facing the golf course but then they start mowing the lawn very early in the morning. For the food,breakfast was fine with enough choice to feed a family, lunch was a bit boring in its offering, and for dinner it was ok as well. Service at the restaurant was a hit and miss with one arrogant male attendant we tried to avoid. Further the property is clean and parking garage is affordable and convenient indoors (payable) and outdoors (free) .

Rooms nice …. Breakfast was always cold!
Went to play golf …. 2 hours for 6 hole..pre- booked tee time was 12.20… told to come back at 13:00, no apologies.
Called Marshall to try and speed up play , only to be told it it was busy… REALLY.

Positives:
Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were friendly. Pools were not crowded and in good repair. Breakfasts were enjoyable with a fair choice. Evening restaurant is reasonable for the odd visit. The site is clean and set in well tended gardens.
Negatives:
Room kitchen is not very well equipped, making family meals was tricky.
Overall:
Very happy with our stay at El Plantio and will look to book there again. Worth noting that you will need transport if staying there as it is not on a bus route and is about a 10 min journey to the next town or Alicante.

Me and my friend recently stayed at this supposed 4-star resort and we were highly dissatisfied. The room was unclean with water stains, dust, and hair on the bidet and toilet seat. One toilet got dirtier after being washed by the staff, and there was no toilet brush. The safety deposit box didn't work
and the fridge stank.
The walls were thin, making it impossible to sleep due to noisy, drunken neighbors. The receptionist wanted to get drinks with us,and wanted to join us at the beach after his shift. He also used his personal whatsapp to contact us, which was very unprofessional and made us uncomfortable.
Breakfast was pretty terrible: the hard boiled eggs were way too solid, yogurt had a weird taste, dry pastries, the bacon often not enough cooked. The gym was closed without notice on the website, and the shower water turned cold at one point. They cut grass everyday at around 7:30am, and the location required taxis to get anywhere, though there was a nice mountain trail.
Overall, the resort did not meet its 4-star rating, and I would not recommend it.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. Went with my two friends, we all got separate units. We didn’t golf at all, lounged by the pool and went to the beach. The cost is spectacular. The rooms are well air conditioned and the views are amazing. Pay for breakfast - you will not be disappointed!!!! We would 10/10 stay again!

Great apartment, which was extremely spacious and well equipped. Only stayed one night as a stopover but would happily stay again. Staff friendly and helpful and pool looked great. A good choice at breakfast set us up for our onwards travel.

Been here a number of times you will not go far wrong if you are looking for a beautiful place and out of the way . This will be, I think, the place for you.

Very spacious and modern. Lots of room. There is even a rooftop terrace. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun place to stay
