Beautiful restaurant and stunning location. The food was very good and tasty. The restaurant boss was very friendly and made is feel at home, however the service by part of the other team members could be better. Our cutlery was not even changed from starters to mains and had to ask them to change them. Definitely would come back. Prepare to pay around 50/60€ per person.

We felt it’s a bit overpriced. EUR 370 for a relatively old room and very sea side room ( half of the view is the parking lot, perhaps just a bit unlucky). Breakfast was extremely simple and the staff overall are so so. Beautiful view perhaps for the restaurant but that’s it, will not recommend it.

Spectacular location. We came here for a family meal and we had a great experience. The place is magic, the views over the sea, the lighthouse, the cliffs... The food was very good also. Recent stay Used this hotel as a base for a weekend wedding. The hotel has a lovely village nearby with nice places to eat and a stunning beach town that is only just under a 10 minute drive away. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on food however the apartments were large, spacious, clean and comfy. Definitely good value for money.

The staff were very helpful and the service in the restaurant and bar was lovely, food was good too. The rooms have everything you need, although the coffee machine was flashing red and orange light constantly and only one pour button worked. Small charming hotel decorated with taste. A small Mediterranean garden adds a note of freshness with a very well integrated mini swimming pool. We stayed 4 nights in room 6 with garden terrace. We stay one night in the Hapimag Mas Nou to enjoy a day and night with my 2 friends from high school. We book a massage and it was really great thanks to the amazing hands and kindness of Judit. We had fantastic food for lunch dinner and breakfast, nest to the pool and the amazing views of Girona's landscape. Perfect for relaxing and catch up with old friends.

Even the property is old and without A/C the staff was very good to help out in any situation. Food quality was very good, but quantities too big.

I stayed at Hapimag Mas Nou. Very nice resort. I enjoyed a lot. Location of resort is very well organized. You can reach in front of your apartment by car. This makes the transfer of luggages pretty easy. Staff is very friendly. Next to the resort there is a very nice golf club. Resort has a nice swimming pool.

We have visited Mas Nou twice and this place i very relaxing. As golf players, it is perfect to have Golf d'Aro close. We can also recommend Empordà Golf. A beautiful golf course, with big variation of each hole and only 35 minutes drive from Hapimag Mas Nou.

We was staying just for one night. The place is nice has swimming pool, little shop and cafe. But the bathroom didn't has toilet paper, maybe it was rules🤔.

Very good restaurant, everything we tried was tasty, especially the grilled sardines and shrimps with garlic sauce. Also the desserts were delicious.

Were not guest of the hotel, but have used the restaurant several times and ALWAYS been satisfied with the service and food quality to the extent we are surprised by some of the negative reviews. One night we visited when the hotel restaurant was booked for the equivalent of a 'debutante' party for a young Honduran lady's coming of age and the staff coped with us and the party admirably.

The 1st night the fire alarm went off at 3am for no apparent reason, the 2nd night there was a power cut. The hotel is looking very tired and a number alteration have Ben done on the cheap. The WiFi is very inconsistent, the food was very basic.All in all the is better for the money paid locally.

The hotel is located well, and quite close to a lot of places, like restaurants, beaches, golf clubs, and smaller villages with ceramics. The room had great views from the balcony, was reasonably spacious and the beds were comfortable. Unbeatable location and views over one of most beautiful bays in Costa Brava. But the service is even better than The excellent infrastructure. I arrived and they told me to pay for the room, it was already paid even with extra deposit of 100€, we were arguing about that. The lift was not working and while repairing the lift there was no light. The hotel itself is nice (at least the part visible to the guests), there is a pool and beautiful view on the sea. After my stay, I did not feel very happy with the hotel. It's apparently a 4 star hotel although it doesn't give that sensation. The staff appeared diligent and hard working, but it was clear that they had precious few breaks. We were told that the check in time was 15h but in the hotel it said it was 13h, do we lost two hours. The swimming pool closed at 18h on the first day. We had to go to our room...

Good location and a short walk to the beach. Restaurant is busy, plenty of food but hot food is lukewarm at best. Long queues for the one coffee machine the mornings, over 12 people at times. Nice pool area. Bar is expensive

We went there for a couple of nights to relax and it was amazing. Getting a room with a beachside balcony view is worth it! The views from our balcony were great! Make sure to catch the sunrise! The breakfast is also great and the staff was always very helpful. Location is the best! 100% recommend staying here.

Great hotel with friendly service at an even greater location. Fresh clean rooms and good restaurant to it. Possibility for a private parking space, which is good, because during daytime Tamaríu is well visited and fully parked.

Perfect location, but inconsistent staff. Check in clerk made several mistakes with parking and dinner reservation, bar staff got our food order wrong ( my husband does not eat red meat and instead of duck burger he got a beef burger). Cleaning staff was very competent.

Amazing location and vibe in general. Tamariu is small but beautiful. Be prepared to climbs stairs which for us was a non issue. My only complaint was the very rude hostess at the lower level restaurant. I was doing my best at communicating in Spanish. Granted my Spanish sucks but usually people appreciate you trying. She was very rude about it, so much so that we split and went elsewhere. Beyond that...

My family and I have just returned from a very relaxing and enjoyable 10 days in Tamariu. The apartment was very well appointed and clean. Although we ate out most evenings the kitchen facilities were excellent. The bedroom was comfortable and had plenty of wardrobe space and a very good pedestal fan. The main living area, although small, was just big enough for 4 persons. It also had air conditioning...

Although without ocean views, the apartment has lots of light, it is spacious, it is very well equipped and most important, truly clean

Quirky, past its heyday type of hotel, but very nice and we enjoyed our stay. Would return. Lost a star by charging to park in their decades old carpark that has sufficient spaces for a full hotel. No street parking available ( or even necessary).

This hotel is tired and in desperate need of refurbishment. However, it is very clean, the breakfast is great, the beds very comfortable and all of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The €9 a night parking charge is annoying and off putting, just put the rate up by €5 and include car parking please

I stayed in this hotel last week on Thursday night. The staff were all so kind, I was even treated to a private breakfast from who I think was he hotel Manager. The hotel grounds were beautiful, the building was super cute. I 100% recommend a visit.
