While our stay had many enjoyable aspects, such as excellent food, well-maintained pools, and a range of activities in the area, the arrival process unfortunately overshadowed our experience.

Upon arrival, our room was not ready, and we were asked to stay in another room for the first night, meaning we had to switch rooms mid-stay. As compensation for the inconvenience, the hotel kindly upgraded us to an all-inclusive package. While this gesture was appreciated, we had no option to refuse it. In hindsight, we would have preferred the option to keep our original room for the entire stay rather than switching rooms, even if that meant forgoing the compensation.

Changing the room mid-stay posed a challenge as we were traveling with a 2-year-old who relies on certain routines, especially during nap time between 12:00 and 14:00. We requested to remain in our room during this period on the day of the switch, but this was initially denied, citing standard check-out times.

Given the unusual circumstance of needing to change rooms mid-stay, we hoped the hotel would accommodate us with a more flexible solution. Communicating this need to the staff was difficult, as either our concern wasn't fully understood or the staff were unable to offer a solution beyond the standard policy. Eventually, after speaking with the Hotel Manager, we were given permission to stay in our original room until 14:00, unless our new room was ready prior to 12:00.

However, the communication broke down again when we were called at 12:35 and told to switch rooms immediately. This was disruptive, especially since our child was napping at the time. Despite providing my mobile number, the reception called into the room several times, further interrupting the situation.

We finally moved rooms at 13:45, but the overall experience left us feeling that the hotel’s processes took precedence over guest comfort and flexibility in special situations.

That said, outside of the room issue, we appreciated the quality of the food, the lovely pool areas, and the variety of activities available both at the hotel and in the surrounding area. With some improvements in guest service and communication, this could be a truly excellent experience.

Good facilities, all inclusive was ok, food was low quality products. Pools were good, super beach right next to it, however our room was disgusting, dated, mold and just dirty, terrible bathroom with yellow toilet seat and peeling mirrors, mold, broken lights, outdated safebox,, outdated aircon, outdated everything!!

Dreadful, disgusting room, we paid a high season premium price, room had peeling mirror, filthy bathroom, mold in shower and shower head, toilet seat was yellow(urine stains weathered in), inside rim of toilet was disgusting. Terrible aircon, broken lights, sticky residue on cupboards. Disaster. The pool and facilities were very good though. All inclusive meals were bland/boring and low quality produce. Not worth the money paid in August!
