To start, if you’re looking for a family holiday with edible food and a clean modern room then book elsewhere. The hotel rooms are dated and shabby at best. Just note, if you’re wanting air con in your room, this is at the mercy of hipotels as they decide when it’s on and when it’s off. Note, it’s off more than it’s on resulting in very sweaty sleepless nights. The food is the worst buffet food I have ever experienced on any holiday. In addition, if you’re a Brit, you’ll be vastly outnumbered by the entire country of Germany that have reserved all the sunbeds meaning that you have nowhere to relax by the pool. In short, if you’re after somewhere to simply sleep at night and are happy to eat out at surrounding restaurants then pathos place is perfect. If however you’re after a family friendly resort which caters to all and is modern, then please look at resorts in Cala Millor (avoid Sa Coma). It appears as if it hasn’t been touched since the early noughties.

Staff were very unhelpful I asked to move room as mine had a view of the restaurant and toilets so no privacy even offered to pay to upgrade but was told that there were no rooms staff at reception were rude and dismissive Beds were uncomfortable the rooms need updating, we had to cross the road if we wanted a drink as the hotel is spread over a vast area, the entertainment was awful and not once did any rep interact with us never seen them , also the beach was closed for weeks prior to our arrival due to jellyfish, which we weren’t informed of Would not recommend this hotel to anyone definitely not worth the money

While our stay had many enjoyable aspects, such as excellent food, well-maintained pools, and a range of activities in the area, the arrival process unfortunately overshadowed our experience.

Upon arrival, our room was not ready, and we were asked to stay in another room for the first night, meaning we had to switch rooms mid-stay. As compensation for the inconvenience, the hotel kindly upgraded us to an all-inclusive package. While this gesture was appreciated, we had no option to refuse it. In hindsight, we would have preferred the option to keep our original room for the entire stay rather than switching rooms, even if that meant forgoing the compensation.

Changing the room mid-stay posed a challenge as we were traveling with a 2-year-old who relies on certain routines, especially during nap time between 12:00 and 14:00. We requested to remain in our room during this period on the day of the switch, but this was initially denied, citing standard check-out times.

Given the unusual circumstance of needing to change rooms mid-stay, we hoped the hotel would accommodate us with a more flexible solution. Communicating this need to the staff was difficult, as either our concern wasn't fully understood or the staff were unable to offer a solution beyond the standard policy. Eventually, after speaking with the Hotel Manager, we were given permission to stay in our original room until 14:00, unless our new room was ready prior to 12:00.

However, the communication broke down again when we were called at 12:35 and told to switch rooms immediately. This was disruptive, especially since our child was napping at the time. Despite providing my mobile number, the reception called into the room several times, further interrupting the situation.

We finally moved rooms at 13:45, but the overall experience left us feeling that the hotel’s processes took precedence over guest comfort and flexibility in special situations.

That said, outside of the room issue, we appreciated the quality of the food, the lovely pool areas, and the variety of activities available both at the hotel and in the surrounding area. With some improvements in guest service and communication, this could be a truly excellent experience.
