Hotel Adonis Plaza

Fantastic location to explore Santa Cruz,
We was unlucky there was major renovation work being done in the reception area, which was so loud it hurt my ears, rooms were clean, but the bin in bathroom was overflowing with previous guests rubbish quite unhealthy, cleaner made a big mistake I reported to reception, was told to email to a email address( not really going to help us) so did not bother.

We spent two nights at this hotel, as a family of 3. The hotel is accessible through a little pathway round the back of the main entrance on the main square. It's a little disconcerting at first, but safe to get to. The check in was very quick, the room was clean, comfortable beds, a/c working properly. But: 1. the room layout is a little strange: one of the beds was placed right underneath the tv set, so that you couldn't watch tv from the bed. 2. The view from the room (115) was ugly ( air conditioning units and generators), 3. the a/c, even when set at the bare minimum, feels a bit too cold, but if you switch it off, it's too warm, so you have to put up with it; 4. The hotel's real Achilles heel: the breakfast was of a poor quality for a 3 star hotel: very dry cake slices, stale croissants, items that run out aren't replaced, fruit is either far too ripe or way too hard.... Just about ok, but not up to the standard that you'd expect for a hotel of this rating.
I would still recommend you stay at this hotel for the location and cleanliness and comfort of rooms.

Excellent location , room adequate for two night stay , no tea/coffee making in rooms
Restaurant only open for breakfast, poor choice would have liked hot option choice was smoked salmon boiled egg on toast or roast pork on toast, lots of cakes , rice pudding , two cereal choices, had to keep asking for hot water and milk to be replenished , took so long as we’re heating it up with a pan on gas ring ,receptionists helpful,
Would stay again but eat out for breakfast

Great location in the city center, near to main street with a lot of stores and restaurants The room was very confortable, the room is more classic but the bathroom was very modern
