Good experience, the hotel has a pool and jacuzzi on the terrace. The gym is on the terrace too, so you can see the sea, mountains and a beautiful park. Location is good if you want to visit the “real” city, their neighborhoods and local restaurants; however, is a bit far from the city center and the coach station. Overall, I will come back.

Our stay on the seventh floor with a balcony was comfortable and easily accessible. Maybe the room was slightly small for a couple but the large balcony made up for it. There was a fair selection of food at the buffet breakfast but not ideal for a vegetarian.

I can say that if you want to travel in Santa Cruz de Tenerife you need to choose Occidental. They are the best, I WAS satisfied from all points of view, nothing to add. Staff very friendly, servicies very good, high quality of food/drinks, yes, the best.

You couldn't wish for a better base in the capital city Santa Cruz than the Occidental Contemporaneo. The hotel offered great service, excellent value for money with super staff. The daily breakfast was delicious and set you up for a day exploring the city!!

We had to spend the night in Tenerife to fly early and we chose this hotel, as on other occasions. It is a hotel with a quiet and central atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, with comfortable and large beds. The only drawback is that the shower was not very clean. I hope they correct this problem, because we love the hotel.

The location was very handy for Santa Cruz, and the rooms were very roomy. The breakfast terrace with a view of the sea and a cool bath for your feet was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Ideal location, center. Nearby is the port, cruise terminal. Ideal for cruisers to stay. The bus station is also nearby, 15 min. Walk. Standard breakfasts, you won't go hungry. The only downside of the hotel is the soundproofing.

It's a super hotel right in the centre of Santa Cruz and not too expensive. Lovely friendly staff who are very helpful and speak many languages. I often stay there as a kinda "city break" before I go onwards to the amazing mountains of Tenerife. Great place.

Even the hotel is not in the city centre, it has a good location, near the harbour, and only a 10-15 minute walking distance from the centre. There is a nice walking route at the ocean front with georgeous plants.

This hotel is a great choice if you want to stay close to the airport before an early flight or after late landing. The rooms are clean and spacious, there is a great restaurant on site, front desk was professional and helpful, and they even provided me with a packed breakfast as i was leaving before they served breakfast.

Not worth the $300 a night price tag. Felt a little dated, like 80s 90s, had a kitchenette with no pots pan, silverware, etc., bed was comfortable, though, and nice linens and sheets and a very large junior suite. Beware: the north is cold and rainy, so if you're looking for sun stay to the south of Tenerife.

It is very rare to find a hotel in the plus 100 euro price range that does not have tea and coffee making facilities and plug sockets for charging phones and laptop etc. I had to unplug lamps to charge anything. There is a kitchenette and dining table, with fridge and cooktop, but absolutely nothing else. Two teacups and a pot, but no way to make tea or coffee!! No plates, cutlery, pots or anything...
