If you want to sleep on a very firm mattress and have your items taken by housekeeping. Stay here.
I stayed 2 nights on a tour, so I did not choose this hotel for myself. It's about a 7 minute drive from the cathedral and main historic area. First night was horrible sleep, the bed is so firm my hips and back hurt. The next morning I asked for blankets for the bed to make it softer. I wanted them under the sheet. The woman at the front desk had an attitude like she's tired of hearing about this. They put some blankets but it did not help. Then after I get back from touring around on the 2nd day housekeeping had been in my room to put blankets on the bed. I noticed my small box of plastic bags( like sandwich bags) is gone. I left in the morning, it was there. I come back, it's gone. So random. I am so glad I locked my bags when I left. Otherwise, who knows what would be missing. If you stay here cause you do like a firm mattress. Lock your bags. The bar area was very friendly and they do have a nice breakfast with nice staff for servers.

Lovely hotel on the edge of the city. Rooms are spacious and clean.

Nothing special regarding the rooms for a 4 star hotel.
The common areas are nice though.
Huge minus that the staff in the reception didn’t mention that the parking is charged as extra and we only found out after the check out.
Plus they told us that we can have breakfast even though it is not included in the room price, but we also found out that it was charged after the check out. Of course i can have breakfast if i want to pay for it. Why do you mention it during the check in like it is for free?
I was unfortunately disappointed by the staff.

Great location, 20min walking distance from the old town and a quick 5min walk from the bus interlink.

Too small (narrow) double bed for bigger people:-). Staff on reception desk excellent, staff in the restaurant very poor (especially young woman and young man - bored, not willing to work, the older waiter was nice). Good location - 10min walk to train/bus station + 10min walk to the center of Saniago. Excellent breakfast and room service.

I wasn't planning to stay at this hotel for my trip to Santiago, but as I travelled alone and couldn't share costs I looked for a more affordable option than my original choice, and this seemed to fit the bill.
First thing to note is that hotel is a 20 minute walk from the historic centre (and I am a fast walker) close to the renfe station in a mostly residential area, but this suited me as I was leaving Santiago by train anyway. There is a large El Corte Inglés almost next door and a few restaurants just past this.
The hotel isn't in the most beautiful building but the check in staff greeted me warmly at check in and explained everything that I needed to know. Reception and corridors had been refurbished and were quite pleasant and modern. My room was at the back of the building so there was no view to talk of, but there was no noise from the road. The room was clean, warm and spacious and had been partially modernised, but did retain some elements that I consider to be a bit dated (doors and those pink granite sinks...). Initially I thought the bed felt a bit hard, but I actually slept very well on it, so I can't complain.
I had breakfast at the hotel. The gentleman running the breakfast area was friendly and helpful and there was a good selection of hot and cold Spanish breakfast items on the buffet to choose from. It seemed to be fresh and good quality and I enjoyed the breakfast at this hotel.
Check out was easy and efficient.
All in all this hotel was a solid, good value for money option and I would very happily stay here again when in Santiago.
