Good breakfast, nice staff but relatively loud due to the proximity to the airport. The staffs attention on guests could have been better when it comes to removing used plates and cuttlery from the table or serving drinks.
Good for the group or with car !!! Waiting taxi to train station was kind of pain but the hotel itself is in good conditions for groups.
Great hotel and stunning service by the bartender that took care of everyone that came in late for dinner, even though the kitchen was closed he made little sandwiches and served us drinks. Thanks!
Was a good place to stay was only there for one night but the bed was not comfortable for how much it was and the breakfast is very overpriced for what it is better off to go somewhere in town. Very spacious rooms in the villa tho there was a fridge but no microwave. Also not very close to anything but close enough to taxi.
Hotel is not near to city center and on a slight hill but offers a shuttle to downtown though not sure it brings you back later. There was a pulpos restaurant that was 10 min walk away but they dont serve it before 8pm, though they did have good inexpensive empanadas before dinner time that we enjoyed. Room had very nice things but some didnt work. Refrigerator was not working and bathroom mirror was...
All in all we had a good stay, the staff at the reception, restaurant and pool are very friendly! The rooms however are a bit old and gloomy, the carpets, beds, sofa and curtains are all very dark and heavy, we stayed in the villas, where not a lot of light came into the living room. The fridge was also very loud and hot in the outside, the rooms smelled a bit of mould and you could see signs of dampness...

Overall great hotel! The common areas are clean and modern, and the staff is very helpful and polite! The breakfast buffet is good, nothing exceptional but great when you don't want to leave the hotel. The rooms are good, spacious. The walls are a bit thin, we could hear chatter from the neighbours. It wasn't an issue for us but its something to keep in mind. Lastly, the safe inside the room was...
I loved the hotel. We booked a double room for one night and enough to say I would come back again. Super clean, newly renovated, excellent location. The bathroom had two sinks which we found super handy however the only tiny fault I would say is the shower. It was an open shower with a big glass as a shower screen and the level of the shower was slightly higher than the floor so water can still spill...
The hotel is located walk distance from the Cathedral and others historic sites. It is close to the rail station as well and 20 minutes from airport. The room is clean and organized but having only basics, small tv with local channels and a small cooler with some drinks. Break fast is Ok, offering the usual things, however for the same price is possible to pay breakfast 2 on street. There are two parking...
We stayed one night room was great had a great comfortable sleep. Breakfast was very good nice selection on the buffet. Only thing is the pool does not open till 11am which is a shame. Staff very friendly and helpful
Shame pool is not open till 11pm. Hotel beds comfortable, rooms clean amd tidy. Sone furniture was wee bit tatty that was only cabinets over all room was lovely with a balcony. Room was nicely decorated shower amazing. Breakfast was totally great, lots of choices and plentiful great choice on offer all fresh. We loved our stay here. Eaay to get around - centre of town vis lovely park about 20min stroll
Excellent! Nice rooms and a pool. Breakfast offers a wise choice.

Business hotel but also good for tourist. Good location, friendly staff.
Not in centre of town... Would need to get taxi or bus to centre
We chose this hotel just because it was closed to Decathlon. The hotel was good if the price is under 120 euro. The meal was decent at the restaurant but there is no drinking water available in the room. The taxi to the airport is 26 euro. A bit expensive. The shower water pressure is a bit weak. The bed is comfortable.
Bed bugs found, nothing special about the hotel and for a 4* Hotel no welcoming drinks, price for a water 3,50€! Breakfast as usual, nothing special about it.
Almost everything. Great location if you have a car. Lots of supermarkets and restaurants within 5 km.
Its a good location with free parking. The hotel room is very nice and the breakfast too. The only thing that was less are the double beds because they kept moving

Excellent hotel on the edge of Old Town, with paid parking garage and decent gym for a hotel. Many restaurants in the immediate area
Great location, service and quality. Breakfast is an amazing buffet for €16
This is advertised as 5 star hotel. It is not. There were no basic coffee/tea making facility in the room & only a basic shower over bath in the bathroom. Hairdrier did not work in our room and took a long time to get fixed. It has a beautiful foyer & a nice pool area (pool is uniformly deep however) & the service was generally very good. Location is pretty close to the Old Town.
Beautiful, comfortable hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed here in 2012 after walking the Camino. It was great then and is still great.
Booked this cause after the Camino I wanted a hotel with a swimming pool. Photo of the pool is below. Otherwise a perfectly pleasant stay.
Loved this hotel's location. We were in walking distance to great restaurants, nightlife, and the cathedral. It was also one of the only hotels in the area with parking, which was very important to us. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is in a great location. The building and room size are good but the quality of the bed, pillows and duvets was poor so I could not sleep well. The gym is pretty bad. The breakfast was not worth it, the products they offered were mainly sugary ultra processed food and bad quality cheese, and dry meat. The coffee was bad too.
I enjoyed my stay here. It’s close to the town center. I’m surprised about some of the reviews about the staff. I found them to be exceptionally kind and helpful. I’d stay again 100%.
We had a wonderful stay at Compostela Hotel! It is very well located, everyone there was so friendly/welcoming/helpful, and the rooms were very nice. I would definitely stay again and recommend. Thanks again for a lovely time in Santiago de Compostela!
This is an excellent hotel near restaurants and the Cathedral. The front desk will find ways to help with anything. Nice breakfast.
I highly recommend this hotel in Santiago de Compostela. First of all, I must thanks to JULIO, from the receptionist area, who took the time to help us with our journey from Santiago to Sevilla. Excellent customer service support. The hotel is colonial, clean, the rooms and the bathrooms are spacious and a very good breakfast. Thank you Julio for all your help. Regards Bravo’s Family
The location is perfect to explore the Old Town. The staff were so helpful - Ramiru who was on night reception so was helpful telling us good places to see, visit and eat.

Great hotel in the quiet are close to the city centre and near the great park. Great reception area
Highly recommended hotel for a weekend in Santiago, 15 minutes walk from the cathedral. We will be back!
Very friendly and clean Great bed Spa area could be improved, however Steam sauna doesn't work and you have to switch everything on yourself first Sometimes good prices on offer, so good value for money.
My husband and I had a fantastic experience from the moment we arrived. Andrea at reception welcomed us warmly, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere. I was there for five nights and my daughter three we were both exhausted after walking every day my daughter managed 490 miles and we booked in with you to relax. In desperate need of a deep clean and renovation. This is by no means a top class hotel at best it warrants three Stars. Pool side and changing rooms are very dirty. The restaurant has three main courses available, beef, chicken and fish, meaning if you are staying three days you will experience all three unless like me you don't want any of them. Liked the cleanliness of the hotel. Also liked the breakfast selections. Wished the hotel had more dining areas throughout the day and or room service.
We just stayed for one night as it was close to the airport
The room is OK, the breakfast is rich
The location is a bit far, 4 km from the cathedral, but parking is convenient, the room is large, neat and clean, the breakfast is good, and the dinner is also very well cooked.
Terrific staffer (manager maybe) checked us in and upgraded us to a beautiful 10th floor room.Very much appreciated on a crummy rainy day.
Lovely modern spacious hotel. Triple room had 2 small double beds & 1 single bed. Very comfortable. Toiletries included travel toothbrushes. This hotel is not small in this town. The location is quite convenient, and you can walk to the center. It happened to be a major power outage in Spain, so the hotel provided us with instant noodles.
Nice hotel with its own parking. Breakfasts on the top floor with a beautiful view. The room is nice and clean.
A fantastic hotel that instantly reminded me of the elegant decor from the movie Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. The blend of classic charm with modern touches creates a unique atmosphere. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and everything is spotlessly clean. The central location is perfect—you can reach the cathedral and the university hospital in just a few minutes. I would definitely...
Generally, a good place to stay, however, it has some drawbacks: (1) it is very noisy - both outdoors and indoors (poor soundproofing!); (2) the prices for the "minibar" are terribly high -worst thing is you don't know the price until you check out :-(. Other than that, it is great in terms of cleanliness, service, and a breakfast!
Good clean hotel. Very good breakfast.

While largish chain hotels are not usually our thing, this hotel does well.Junior Suite for 2 nights, very comfortable. Cathedral view, great for the fireworks on St James' Eve. Not too difficult to drive to, with good parking, and only 10 minutes walk (approx) to Cathedral.

We stayed here at the end of our Camino from Lisbon. All of the staff were nice and attentive. My wife came down with pneumonia and was hospitalized for 5 days, causing us to delay our flights home. Great location great breakfast and friendly staff.
I have stayed there 3 times now, and the reason I come back each time is because, it's very convenient. The bus and train station is no more than 15 mins away, likewise to the Cathedral, the main hub of the Santiago with plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops to peruse. Amazing historic establishment. Good room with a comfortable bed. Lovely lounge with newspaper. Swimming pool. Beautiful dining room.
After completing the Camino, six of us stayed at the Convento de San Francisco do Val de Deus, and it was the ideal place to unwind. This historic convent has been beautifully transformed into a hotel, seamlessly blending its rich history with modern comforts. The architecture is just stunning, and its location is just a short stroll from the cathedral, making it incredibly convenient. The indoor pool...
The most creepy hotel I ever stay in also the coolest hotel with so much to explore. It used to be an eighteenth-century convent. There still a lot of history in the hotel. The check in was quick and they inform us the two elevator go to two different flood. There a between floor, and where the breakfast is at. I also love that because of my disability, they actually have a really good shower chair...
Central location and historical architecture are organically facilitated by organization of sleeping premises, all amenities in working condition. But the rest doesn’t work, the unique spirit of the monastery is not opened by the hotel. The rooms have outdated (but clean) furniture, no drinking water is provided, housekeeping service uses super chlorine detergents. No common area for guest, no working...
The staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful in every way. Our visit was in February so the use of the spa & pool was such an added bonus, (probably because we had it to ourselves). Breakfast was excellent and the breakfast room an amazing experience. Free parking. We found the hotel a bit austere in atmosphere, as if it was still a convent, but that was part of its charm for us.
Had an enjoyable relaxing stay. Found all of the staff to be very helpful and even without asking. The room was cosy and comfortable. The historic environment was special. If you have a chance, have a meal in the restaurant. It looks amazing!

Tiny and cozy in a historical setting and just a few meters from the cathedral square, Praza do Obradoiro, the main building in all of Galicia. The location is superb, the rooms feel tight and a bit claustrophobic, but it's understandable because the hotel is in a 17th century building.
I have found this hotel when I couldnt stay im originaly booked one. The staff was very helpful, the room big and had everything I needed. After my Camino it was the highlight of my trip. Would recomend it!
Fantastic location, right in the middle of the old town where most of the attractions are. The rooms were alright but the front desk person was not helpful at all. We had to go to a wedding and there was no iron in the room and apparently they don’t have any!! We also got sick and when asked for some tissues they said they don’t have any which is weird.

Rooms were great and hotel is well placed. Our group checked out this morning and the receptionist/breakfast lady was irritable as if we were in her way. We were well within serving time. It made our group feel uncomfortable.
After the Camino, this hotel was perfect. The rooms are comfortable. The shower is excellent. The breakfast is not as elaborate as many hotels. The road is very steep outside this hotel, so you will need to walk another hill. But you should be used to it by now.
We unfortunately had only one night there as we had to leave early because of a death in the family but everything was great at the hotel
It was clean and welcoming with very good access to the city center and bus station, which drives to and from the airport. The room was quiet and comforting, and the breakfast was quite fulfilling. The receptionist was a nice and kind lady who helped us a lot and guided us with our questions. It's very price-worthy.
Great parking. Water pressure was AMAZING! Staff extra sweet. Beds fluffy and comfortable! Highly recommend. Short walk to Santiago de Compostela!
I would have given it a 4 star if only the staff wasn’t rude, there was an obvious lack of hospitality even when you ask simple questions, or when 2 different employees give you contradicting responses! Great location just in the old town. The room looked clean, though a bit old. when you enter the building it smells but not the room. Great value for money. The hotel is poorly soundproofed and therefore you hear every step of the other guests, especially in the very early morning when they leave and the cleaning crew.
Excellent, clean, great location, excellent shower. Very helpful receptionist.
We were a stone throw away from the Cathedral and the esplanade. It was perfect. We had a rental car and there was a 24 hour parking on the Plaza de Galicia which was the closes to the hotel. And the walk from the parking to the hotel was not bad at all. I highly recommend it and would stay there again for sure.
