Great location, service and quality. Breakfast is an amazing buffet for €16

This is advertised as 5 star hotel. It is not. There were no basic coffee/tea making facility in the room & only a basic shower over bath in the bathroom. Hairdrier did not work in our room and took a long time to get fixed. It has a beautiful foyer & a nice pool area (pool is uniformly deep however) & the service was generally very good. Location is pretty close to the Old Town.

Beautiful, comfortable hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed here in 2012 after walking the Camino. It was great then and is still great.

Booked this cause after the Camino I wanted a hotel with a swimming pool. Photo of the pool is below. Otherwise a perfectly pleasant stay.

Loved this hotel's location. We were in walking distance to great restaurants, nightlife, and the cathedral. It was also one of the only hotels in the area with parking, which was very important to us. Would definitely stay again.

Old and worn hotel frankly not worth the 5-star rating. Bathroom smelled. Front seat friendly but not very communicative. For example they recommended restaurants and called to make reservations but didn’t bother to tell us that the restaurant was closed! We ended up scrambling at the last minute.

The place to stay in Santiago...it's a truly amazing hotel. A wonderfully restored and magnificent building, once a hospital for those recovering after the Camino ..long long ago. It is a very special place and there is a perfect view of the cathedral from the breakfast room. Such a great way to start the day.😀

Location and staff were amazing. However I had no water pressure from the above shower head which was something I was looking into. Breakfast buffet is worth it I think and the location worth a lot more. Rooms are clean and spacious :)

Amazing property located right beside the Cathedral. Multiple courtyards inside the parador. Incredible views from room and breakfast area. Breakfast was out of this world with cooked dishes (to be selected from a menu) in addition to the regular breakfast options. Service as expected for a 5* hotel. Really worth every penny. Looking forward to coming back and celebrating the end of the Camino pilgrimage...

An incredible way to celebrate completing the Caminho! The perfect location right next to the cathedral. Staff are amazingly attentive. The breakfast buffet is excellent (as is the coffee). Ask for reservations at the Restaurante Dos Reis, they can often get you in ... And we loved the tasting menu with wine pairing).

Beautiful, historic hotel in the heart of Santiago de Compostela. Was converted from a hospital created to treat travelers at the end of their pilgrimage. Property is absolutely stunning. No better location/hotel/restaurant exists in Santiago.

I really loved this hotel. Easily the best hotel - by far - from the six we stayed in on vacation. Loved the rooms, sizes, beds, decor, solid wood, decorative granite and marble finishes throughout the hotel. Three lobby was beautiful as were the grounds, especially the chapel on the grounds.

Conformable clean rooms

The hotel Los Abetos is a 4 star hotel with the service of a full 5 stars. It is situated in an elevated area which makes it the best hotel in town for the favorable views. Its dedication from the employees is great and everyone is treating you well and fair. My family loved it so much we extended the visit 3 extra days. We chose this hotel just because it was closed to Decathlon. The hotel was good if the price is under 120 euro. The meal was decent at the restaurant but there is no drinking water available in the room. The taxi to the airport is 26 euro. A bit expensive. The shower water pressure is a bit weak. The bed is comfortable.

Bed bugs found, nothing special about the hotel and for a 4* Hotel no welcoming drinks, price for a water 3,50€! Breakfast as usual, nothing special about it.

Its a good location with free parking. The hotel room is very nice and the breakfast too. The only thing that was less are the double beds because they kept moving

I enjoyed my stay here. It’s close to the town center. I’m surprised about some of the reviews about the staff. I found them to be exceptionally kind and helpful. I’d stay again 100%.

The location is perfect to explore the Old Town. The staff were so helpful - Ramiru who was on night reception so was helpful telling us good places to see, visit and eat.

This hotel has the potential of being a Four Star hotel. With better management. The hotel is beautiful and is very clean the rooms are impeccable. It is very affordable but it locks amenities. I loved the hotel. We booked a double room for one night and enough to say I would come back again. Super clean, newly renovated, excellent location. The bathroom had two sinks which we found super handy however the only tiny fault I would say is the shower. I've stayed at this place three times and each time it's been fantastic. It's a beautiful historic setting, the building used to be a paper mill. My husband and I stayed in a Suite in the Hotel for 3 very enjoyable nights. The staff are very relaxed and friendly and the service in the restaurant is outstanding. We found the hotel's location a great base for exploring the small towns on the Atlantic coastline and it is a short drive away from the City Centre of Santiago.

Too small (narrow) double bed for bigger people:-). A great 3* hotel in Santiago’s very heart! Adequate breakfast till 10:30 every day, nice and polite staff that speak fluent English, within a few minutes distance from the old town and the cathedral, right by the modern shops and supermarkets and two minutes from the bus stop. I stayed here in April 2023. Great value for the price in Santiago de Compostela. It is not a new building, but it has a lift and my room was clean and comfortable, with a good shower. The location is very convenient, within a couple of blocks of Praza de Galicia where the airport bus stops, 3-4 blocks from the train & bus station, and easy walk to the cathedral/old town. Tiny and cozy in a historical setting and just a few meters from the cathedral square, Praza do Obradoiro, the main building in all of Galicia. The location is superb, the rooms feel tight and a bit claustrophobic, but it's understandable because the hotel is in a 17th century building.

I have found this hotel when I couldnt stay im originaly booked one. The staff was very helpful, the room big and had everything I needed. After my Camino it was the highlight of my trip. Would recomend it!

Fantastic location, right in the middle of the old town where most of the attractions are. The rooms were alright but the front desk person was not helpful at all. We had to go to a wedding and there was no iron in the room and apparently they don’t have any!! We also got sick and when asked for some tissues they said they don’t have any which is weird.

This hotel was amazing the best possible choice to relax and unwind. We loved every second of our stay, the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming and nothing was a bother even researching and booking cinema tickets for my son. Very clean, excellent facilities I woukd definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

The room was spacious enough for 2 adults with 2 large suitcases and 2 small bags. The bed was huge and very comfortable. All of the staff that we dealt with were great, and always friendly and extremely helpful. The only reason I gave the Room only 4 stars was because there were a couple of holes in the bed linen.

Nice, modern hotel that is located a bit away from the central area. If you don't mind walking up the hill for 15 min to get to the central area, then this may be it. The shower/tub combo was too deep without any handle to hang onto to get in and out. It was a real safety hazard. Also the tub drained so slow, so as I was showering, the water pooled to my ankle.

Clean rooms, good location, friendly service. Breakfast subpar. Rooms very noisy and you can easily hear others in their rooms. Good thing is there was hot water and the AC actually worked.

clean tidy and handy to get to. Bus stop from airport us only few minutes walk. Get off at below the old market and just cross the road and head up 2 minutes walk we walked down towards Galicia Square and had to walk back up. The place is opposite the old priests college. This is my main favourite hotel when I am in Santiago. It is a quiet and cosy place in the heart of the old town. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the premises are always clean and cosy. It make you feel like you are indeed at home!

Staff was very helpful and attentive, both on reception and breakfast. Room very big for a family of 2 adults and 2 small kids, very clean. Breakfast has many options for both adults and kids. OK to stay if you have car. Will repeat when visiting Santiago de Compostela.

Friendly check in, the view from the glass Lift/Elevator was impressive with indoor garden. Room was nice and clean, the mini bar. The was a nice international TV channel selection.
