Great location, service and quality. Breakfast is an amazing buffet for €16

This is advertised as 5 star hotel. It is not. There were no basic coffee/tea making facility in the room & only a basic shower over bath in the bathroom. Hairdrier did not work in our room and took a long time to get fixed. It has a beautiful foyer & a nice pool area (pool is uniformly deep however) & the service was generally very good. Location is pretty close to the Old Town.

Beautiful, comfortable hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed here in 2012 after walking the Camino. It was great then and is still great.

Booked this cause after the Camino I wanted a hotel with a swimming pool. Photo of the pool is below. Otherwise a perfectly pleasant stay.

Loved this hotel's location. We were in walking distance to great restaurants, nightlife, and the cathedral. It was also one of the only hotels in the area with parking, which was very important to us. Would definitely stay again.

Old and worn hotel frankly not worth the 5-star rating. Bathroom smelled. Front seat friendly but not very communicative. For example they recommended restaurants and called to make reservations but didn’t bother to tell us that the restaurant was closed! We ended up scrambling at the last minute.

The place to stay in Santiago...it's a truly amazing hotel. A wonderfully restored and magnificent building, once a hospital for those recovering after the Camino ..long long ago. It is a very special place and there is a perfect view of the cathedral from the breakfast room. Such a great way to start the day.😀

Location and staff were amazing. However I had no water pressure from the above shower head which was something I was looking into. Breakfast buffet is worth it I think and the location worth a lot more. Rooms are clean and spacious :)

Amazing property located right beside the Cathedral. Multiple courtyards inside the parador. Incredible views from room and breakfast area. Breakfast was out of this world with cooked dishes (to be selected from a menu) in addition to the regular breakfast options. Service as expected for a 5* hotel. Really worth every penny. An incredible way to celebrate completing the Caminho! The perfect location right next to the cathedral. Staff are amazingly attentive. The breakfast buffet is excellent (as is the coffee). Ask for reservations at the Restaurante Dos Reis, they can often get you in ... And we loved the tasting menu with wine pairing).

Beautiful, historic hotel in the heart of Santiago de Compostela. Was converted from a hospital created to treat travelers at the end of their pilgrimage. Property is absolutely stunning. No better location/hotel/restaurant exists in Santiago.

I really loved this hotel. Easily the best hotel - by far - from the six we stayed in on vacation. Loved the rooms, sizes, beds, decor, solid wood, decorative granite and marble finishes throughout the hotel. Three lobby was beautiful as were the grounds, especially the chapel on the grounds.

The hotel Los Abetos is a 4 star hotel with the service of a full 5 stars. It is situated in an elevated area which makes it the best hotel in town for the favorable views. We chose this hotel just because it was closed to Decathlon. The hotel was good if the price is under 120 euro. The meal was decent at the restaurant but there is no drinking water available in the room. The taxi to the airport is 26 euro. A bit expensive. The shower water pressure is a bit weak. The bed is comfortable.

Bed bugs found, nothing special about the hotel and for a 4* Hotel no welcoming drinks, price for a water 3,50€! Breakfast as usual, nothing special about it.

I enjoyed my stay here. It’s close to the town center. I’m surprised about some of the reviews about the staff. I found them to be exceptionally kind and helpful. I’d stay again 100%.

I highly recommend this hotel in Santiago de Compostela. First of all, I must thanks to JULIO, from the receptionist area, who took the time to help us with our journey from Santiago to Sevilla. The location is perfect to explore the Old Town. The staff were so helpful - Ramiru who was on night reception so was helpful telling us good places to see, visit and eat.

This hotel has the potential of being a Four Star hotel. With better management. The hotel is beautiful and is very clean the rooms are impeccable. It is very affordable but it locks amenities. Great option to stay in Santiago de Compestela. The hotel is full of lush green gardens and it smells amazing. They are pet friendly. It is a drive into town, but a great option to walk around in nature, maybe walk down to the river after breakfast. Very peaceful and beautiful hotel.

Room was lovely, clean and fairly spacious. The front desk, servers, and bar staff were all wonderful but the woman running the spa was INCREDIBLY rude. Not just a Michelin star hotel , it’s worth more than that ! The immaculate hotel has left the best impression through out this entire trip. I would recommend anyone finishing Camino to come here for a few days to just enjoy the room and the spa . Totally amazing !! Simply wonderful and unique. Best possible place to spend our 10y anniversary. Wish we could've stayed longer but could only offload the kids for a night. The youngest will leave home in 15 years and this hotel will be first on the list to revisit.

Wonderfully decorated interior and the reception staff are so good, nothing is too much trouble for them I felt like I was treated like a king. Too small (narrow) double bed for bigger people:-). I stayed here in April 2023. Great value for the price in Santiago de Compostela. It is not a new building, but it has a lift and my room was clean and comfortable, with a good shower. Tiny and cozy in a historical setting and just a few meters from the cathedral square, Praza do Obradoiro, the main building in all of Galicia. The location is superb, the rooms feel tight and a bit claustrophobic, but it's understandable because the hotel is in a 17th century building.

I have found this hotel when I couldnt stay im originaly booked one. The staff was very helpful, the room big and had everything I needed. After my Camino it was the highlight of my trip. Would recomend it!

Fantastic location, right in the middle of the old town where most of the attractions are. The rooms were alright but the front desk person was not helpful at all. We had to go to a wedding and there was no iron in the room and apparently they don’t have any!! We also got sick and when asked for some tissues they said they don’t have any which is weird.

This hotel was amazing the best possible choice to relax and unwind. We loved every second of our stay, the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming and nothing was a bother even researching and booking cinema tickets for my son. The room was spacious enough for 2 adults with 2 large suitcases and 2 small bags. The bed was huge and very comfortable. All of the staff that we dealt with were great, and always friendly and extremely helpful. The only reason I gave the Room only 4 stars was because there were a couple of holes in the bed linen.

Nice, modern hotel that is located a bit away from the central area. If you don't mind walking up the hill for 15 min to get to the central area, then this may be it. The shower/tub combo was too deep without any handle to hang onto to get in and out. It was a real safety hazard. Also the tub drained so slow, so as I was showering, the water pooled to my ankle.

Room clean and comfy. During the stay, there are contractor working outside on other room or floor. The smell of the chemical very strong. The reception shouldnt rent out the room on that floor because of the strong smell on that floor. During the check in they didnt explain about some work going on. Either the wall so thin or the door because i can hear all the contractor talking among them.

Everyone was really helpful and friendly. Location is excellent for a short walk into the town and as a coeliac the breakfast staff were very helpful with my dietary needs
