Good breakfast, nice staff but relatively loud due to the proximity to the airport. The staffs attention on guests could have been better when it comes to removing used plates and cuttlery from the table or serving drinks.
Good for the group or with car !!! Waiting taxi to train station was kind of pain but the hotel itself is in good conditions for groups.
Great hotel and stunning service by the bartender that took care of everyone that came in late for dinner, even though the kitchen was closed he made little sandwiches and served us drinks. Thanks!
Hotel is not near to city center and on a slight hill but offers a shuttle to downtown though not sure it brings you back later. There was a pulpos restaurant that was 10 min walk away but they dont serve it before 8pm, though they did have good inexpensive empanadas before dinner time that we enjoyed. Room had very nice things but some didnt work. Refrigerator was not working and bathroom mirror was...
All in all we had a good stay, the staff at the reception, restaurant and pool are very friendly!
The rooms however are a bit old and gloomy, the carpets, beds, sofa and curtains are all very dark and heavy, we stayed in the villas, where not a lot of light came into the living room. The fridge was also very loud and hot in the outside, the rooms smelled a bit of mould and you could see signs of dampness...
I really loved this hotel. Easily the best hotel - by far - from the six we stayed in on vacation. Loved the rooms, sizes, beds, decor, solid wood, decorative granite and marble finishes throughout the hotel. Three lobby was beautiful as were the grounds, especially the chapel on the grounds.

Overall great hotel!
The common areas are clean and modern, and the staff is very helpful and polite!
The breakfast buffet is good, nothing exceptional but great when you don't want to leave the hotel.
The rooms are good, spacious. The walls are a bit thin, we could hear chatter from the neighbours. It wasn't an issue for us but its something to keep in mind.
Lastly, the safe inside the room was...
I loved the hotel. We booked a double room for one night and enough to say I would come back again. Super clean, newly renovated, excellent location. The bathroom had two sinks which we found super handy however the only tiny fault I would say is the shower. It was an open shower with a big glass as a shower screen and the level of the shower was slightly higher than the floor so water can still spill...
The hotel is located walk distance from the Cathedral and others historic sites.
It is close to the rail station as well and 20 minutes from airport.
The room is clean and organized but having only basics, small tv with local channels and a small cooler with some drinks.
Break fast is Ok, offering the usual things, however for the same price is possible to pay breakfast 2 on street.
There are two parking...
We stayed one night room was great had a great comfortable sleep. Breakfast was very good nice selection on the buffet. Only thing is the pool does not open till 11am which is a shame. Staff very friendly and helpful
Shame pool is not open till 11pm.
Hotel beds comfortable, rooms clean amd tidy. Sone furniture was wee bit tatty that was only cabinets over all room was lovely with a balcony. Room was nicely decorated shower amazing. Breakfast was totally great, lots of choices and plentiful great choice on offer all fresh. We loved our stay here. Eaay to get around - centre of town vis lovely park about 20min stroll
Not too far from the Cathedral, this hotel provides you with a nice room, and a swimming pool. Not the newest one in the city, but its location makes it a good bet if youre visiting Santiago. You can park you car for free if you find space for it.

We chose this hotel just because it was closed to Decathlon. The hotel was good if the price is under 120 euro. The meal was decent at the restaurant but there is no drinking water available in the room. The taxi to the airport is 26 euro. A bit expensive. The shower water pressure is a bit weak. The bed is comfortable.
Bed bugs found, nothing special about the hotel and for a 4* Hotel no welcoming drinks, price for a water 3,50€! Breakfast as usual, nothing special about it.
Almost everything. Great location if you have a car. Lots of supermarkets and restaurants within 5 km.
Its a good location with free parking. The hotel room is very nice and the breakfast too. The only thing that was less are the double beds because they kept moving
4 star comforts with no problems. Everything. Superb breakfast, everything you could want offered. I was also a good location for the city as it was a little outside but you had free parking. The room was very comfortable, great big TV and even some English language stations as a bonus. Bathroom spacious, clean and warm. 10 mins in car to Parking Galicia car park. Perfect.
There is no public transport...
Excellent hotel. Very good furniture, ambiance and style, the only downside was the noise. The room was well isolated from external sounds, but you could clearly hear the main hallway and upper rooms.

Excellent hotel on the edge of Old Town, with paid parking garage and decent gym for a hotel. Many restaurants in the immediate area
This is advertised as 5 star hotel. It is not. There were no basic coffee/tea making facility in the room & only a basic shower over bath in the bathroom. Hairdrier did not work in our room and took a long time to get fixed. It has a beautiful foyer & a nice pool area (pool is uniformly deep however) & the service was generally very good. Location is pretty close to the Old Town.
Beautiful, comfortable hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed here in 2012 after walking the Camino. It was great then and is still great.
Booked this cause after the Camino I wanted a hotel with a swimming pool. Photo of the pool is below. Otherwise a perfectly pleasant stay.
Loved this hotel's location. We were in walking distance to great restaurants, nightlife, and the cathedral. It was also one of the only hotels in the area with parking, which was very important to us. Would definitely stay again.
Old and worn hotel frankly not worth the 5-star rating. Bathroom smelled. Front seat friendly but not very communicative. For example they recommended restaurants and called to make reservations but didn’t bother to tell us that the restaurant was closed! We ended up scrambling at the last minute.

The hotel is in a great location. The building and room size are good but the quality of the bed, pillows and duvets was poor so I could not sleep well. The gym is pretty bad. The breakfast was not worth it, the products they offered were mainly sugary ultra processed food and bad quality cheese, and dry meat. The coffee was bad too.
I enjoyed my stay here. It’s close to the town center. I’m surprised about some of the reviews about the staff. I found them to be exceptionally kind and helpful. I’d stay again 100%.
We had a wonderful stay at Compostela Hotel! It is very well located, everyone there was so friendly/welcoming/helpful, and the rooms were very nice. I would definitely stay again and recommend. Thanks again for a lovely time in Santiago de Compostela!
This is an excellent hotel near restaurants and the Cathedral. The front desk will find ways to help with anything. Nice breakfast.
I highly recommend this hotel in Santiago de Compostela.
First of all, I must thanks to JULIO, from the receptionist area, who took the time to help us with our journey from Santiago to Sevilla. Excellent customer service support.
The hotel is colonial, clean, the rooms and the bathrooms are spacious and a very good breakfast.
Thank you Julio for all your help.

My husband and I had a fantastic experience from the moment we arrived. Andrea at reception welcomed us warmly, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere. He was exceptionally professional, taking the time to explain all of the hotel's amenities and ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

I was there for five nights and my daughter three we were both exhausted after walking every day my daughter managed 490 miles and we booked in with you to relax. The staff were amazing as was the hotel, but were disappointed with the restaurant as it only had three mains and my daughter is a vegetarian so no option what’s so ever. We had room service as it had more choices, But after three nights...
In desperate need of a deep clean and renovation. This is by no means a top class hotel at best it warrants three Stars. Pool side and changing rooms are very dirty. They have a comprehensive room service offering which...
The level of amenity provided by the hotel is excellent.

The hotel is beautiful but the services at the dining room is very on professional they are rude Juan Pedruoso is a very rude person no respet once so ever and sarcastic
Decent hotel room, but there are some issues with the HVAC and there is nothing around it, so either be prepared for some walking
Staff was very helpful and attentive, both on reception and breakfast. Room very big for a family of 2 adults and 2 small kids, very clean. Breakfast has many options for both adults and kids. OK to stay if you have car. Will repeat when visiting Santiago de Compostela.
Acutally the rooms are much nicer than anticipated by looking at the building. This is an overall good hotel.

A fantastic hotel that instantly reminded me of the elegant decor from the movie Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. The blend of classic charm with modern touches creates a unique atmosphere. Generally, a good place to stay, however, it has some drawbacks: (1) it is very noisy - both outdoors and indoors (poor soundproofing!); (2) the prices for the "minibar" are terribly high -worst thing is you don't know the price until you check out :-(. Other than that, it is great in terms of cleanliness, service, and a breakfast!
Friendly check in, the view from the glass Lift/Elevator was impressive with indoor garden. Room was nice and clean, the mini bar. The was a nice international TV channel selection. Breakfast staff was very friendly too, they were happy and escorted us to our table of choice. Many selection of Spanish cheeses, that made my day! I would definitely return!
Great hotel next to Santiago City centre. Rooms are old-fashion decorated but very classy (wood all around). Two things to Super recommend :

Great option to stay in Santiago de Compestela. The hotel is full of lush green gardens and it smells amazing. They are pet friendly. It is a drive into town, but a great option to walk around in nature, maybe walk down to the river after breakfast. Very peaceful and beautiful hotel.
Room was lovely, clean and fairly spacious. The front desk, servers, and bar staff were all wonderful but the woman running the spa was INCREDIBLY rude. She was absent from the desk for 15 minutes but there was no sign telling us what to do so we walked around a bit to look around and when she came back down she angrily told us that we should have waited instead of apologising for not being there...
Not just a Michelin star hotel , it’s worth more than that ! The immaculate hotel has left the best impression through out this entire trip. I would recommend anyone finishing Camino to come here for a few days to just enjoy the room and the spa . Totally amazing !! If is good enough for spainish King , it’s all good :) this is a rare hotel indeed .
Simply wonderful and unique. Best possible place to spend our 10y anniversary. Wish we could've stayed longer but could only offload the kids for a night. The youngest will leave home in 15 years and this hotel will be first on the list to revisit.
so much more than a hotel, this is on a different level. Lovely grounds and setting. Wonderfully decorated interior and the reception staff are so good, nothing is too much trouble for them

To be honest, It was not a bad place. Breakfast were good, mood of the room and location is okay.
But this NOT what you expect from 5star hotel I can stress you that. Basically room is non-soundproof. You can hear all the squeaking sound from the halls.. and everything from your next room. After the Camino, this hotel was perfect. The rooms are comfortable. The shower is excellent. The breakfast is not as elaborate as many hotels. The road is very steep outside this hotel, so you will need to walk another hill. But you should be used to it by now.
We unfortunately had only one night there as we had to leave early because of a death in the family but everything was great at the hotel

Great location just in the old town. The room looked clean, though a bit old. when you enter the building it smells but not the room. Great value for money. We were a stone throw away from the Cathedral and the esplanade. It was perfect. We had a rental car and there was a 24 hour parking on the Plaza de Galicia which was the closes to the hotel. Very clean. Very friendly receptionists. Nice rooms. Bus in front takes you to town for 1 euro. To the main square in town its a walk of 20/25 minutes. Offers paid parking in garage. Located in commercial building with all kinds of stores. Supermarket right beside entrance.
There is a public swimming pool nearby. Breakfast is nice.
Clean, good reception. The young man was polite with my poor Spanish. Great breakfast buffet for €5.50. Quiet at night. No complaints. whatsoever.
