Gran Hotel

This hotel is an absolute gem and it was wonderful to stay here. The staff is TOP NOTCH, so friendly and accommodating. The hotel breakfast is so delightful with buffet and a la carte items (no additional charge) we also dined at the restaurant for dinner- best seabass I have ever had in my entire life. If you want to feel like loyalty I highly recommend this place. I deducted a star because the roof top pool was not heated- it was ice cold we couldn’t not go in…. BUT the spa is quite a delight.

Had a lovely time here for a wedding week as a guest. The staff are absolutely wonderful and were extremely helpful! They made my experience really great. It’s in a great location with the tram stop close by and walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The rooms themselves are what needs updating for me and I think some are easy updates. They need more outlets at the nightstand. I had to choose between my bedside lamp or charging my phone which is a trivial annoyance but still. I think they should buy lamps that come with outlets on them for phone charging. The lamps and standing lamp were a little dated and stained. I think also the carpet could be replaced too due to random stains. The bathroom had some rust on the drain BUT there was a handyman that was suppose to fix that but I wasn’t able to let him in my room at the time so that’s on me. Also I do wish the beds were a little softer. The AC worked totally fine as well! I really enjoyed the pool and overall had a good time, but I think this is just feedback to help them continue to do their best!

We spent a lovely week at this fabulous hotel. The hotel is very clean and the staff are exceptional. The staff were always helpful, polite & professional. The breakfast is excellent & there are stunning views from the rooftop pool & bar.
We will definitely be returning.

Perfect Stay at Gran Hotel Sóller!
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome—they were warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with a generous variety of fresh and delicious options, and the best part—it’s included! The hotel’s grounds are beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful and charming atmosphere that made it a joy to simply stroll around or relax with a coffee. Every detail here feels cared for, and it truly elevated our stay in Sóller. One afternoon we enjoyed solely at the rooftop pool and enjoyed Aperol Spritz!

Our stay at Gran Hotel Sóller had a bit of a bumpy start, but thankfully it turned into a really enjoyable experience.When we first arrived, the hotel looked beautiful, full of character and charm, and we were excited to check in.

Unfortunately, our room had two single beds instead of the double we had booked. The twin beds were rock-hard, closer in comfort to a mortician's slab than anything fit for sleep. The beds were not only hard, but on wheels, sliding around unpredictably with every movement; turning sleep into an uncomfortable roller disco.

To the hotel’s credit on addressing this things improved quickly. The manager had the beds changed to a double the next day with mattress toppers, which made a world of difference. After that, we could relax and start enjoying the hotel properly.

Everyone we spoke to was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast was fresh, varied, and served in a peaceful space that made mornings feel like a treat. The English breakfast was more of a Spanglish breakfast, though they have many alternatives including a great range of omelette's.

One of our favorite spots was the rooftop pool. It’s a beautiful, quiet area to unwind, take in the views of the mountains, and cool off after a day of exploring. It added a really special touch to our stay.

Currently staying here and feeling relaxed and well taken care of, we would definitely consider coming back.

I was immediately impressed by the ambiance of the hotel from the moment I walked in. The host greeted us warmly, making us feel right at home. Our room was immaculate—clean, well-organized, and inviting. The breakfast exceeded expectations, even better than many local restaurants. Barbara, our waitress, was fantastic. She took the time to explain all the options and made excellent personalized recommendations that suited our tastes perfectly.

Fantastic experience from the amenities to the service. Beautiful hotel, location is ideal in the center of Soller, and having a place to park eliminated a lot of headache. We were allowed to check in early, The staff were all friendly and offered us excellent recommendations around town for activites and restaurants, the amenities were top-notch, and the hotel even provided a bagged breakfast when we checked out hours earlier than the breakfast opened. Morning breakfast was great as well. Overall amenities, facilities, staff, and service were 10/10. Could not ask for better.

If you’re looking for a historic grand hotel in the center of everything Soller has to offer, this is it.
The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and gave us lots of ideas and local insights.
The music they offered two nights was lovely and definitely added to the hotels charm.
Our room was clean, bed was comfortable and who doesn’t love a good robe, slippers and fully stocked amenity kit waiting for you?
The rooftop pool and view was the perfect place to relax after a day of touring. And the sauna & steam bath (with indoor pool) was a nice option too.
Oh! And the famous Soller Saturday market begins right in front of the hotel! Great fun!
All in all, great stay!

Wonderful hotel. Rooms are slightly dated but still quite nice and luxurious, fits the vibe of the hotel. The staff are absolutely wonderful, from the front desk to the breakfast staff. Location is fantastic. Can't recommend this place enough.

My grandparents stayed here for my wedding in Sóller (neither of them have social media to write this review so they asked me to post for them). They both were in awe of this hotel and complimented the staff, the beautiful decor and most importantly, the breakfast. My grandfather raved about the breakfast every single morning :). Thank you all for taking such great care of them, we definitely recommend!
