The place, environment, rooms, food and staff all got full marks, especially the restaurant staff who were very friendly. I will definitely come again if I have the chance!

The room is facing the beach, which is very beautiful. The breakfast is very rich. It takes only about 40 minutes to drive to Malaga. It takes more than an hour to go to Granada. It can be used for vacation and leisure, and it can also be used as a tourist hub. Very good.

The place is absolutely beautiful with amazing views and a stones throw from the beach. The staff are beyond amazing. Would definitely recommend going all inclusive. They have a good selection of drinks and buffet food

Nice play to stay for 1 or 2 weeks. But you need to rent a car unless you want to stay and be lazy. Rooms are good and clean. Very professional service and very friendly staff. They try and will help you in any way they can. The food is plenty and more then you can eat. Nice place to stay.

It's just so beautifully decorated & well maintained. It has a beautiful breakfast room with lots of choice to suit every palette. The pool area is huge with plenty of sunbeds & areas to sit, drink & relax. All the entertainment is well organised & varied with something to suit every guest. It's perfect

Located a minute's walk from the plaza, this hotel boasts a magnificent view from the terrace overlooking the mountains. Neil, Sarah and Karen are very attentive and go the extra mile to look after their guests. Massive room with, two balcony. Room have fantastic air condition and windows automatic curtains. Swimming pool isn’t massive but is deep and big enough. Breakfast are amazing. Personal is open minded and more than friendly.

Big rooms, excellent breakfast (good coffee) and two owners who take care of the place and making sure you have everything you need. (Editing nights 1/3) there is a fridge to keep your beers cold and a magnetron to warm a dinner .free parking free wifi.

As we arrived we was amazed by the grounds and facilities on offer. The owners are friendly, welcoming and always available to help. Although the rooms could be slightly brighter the amenities and rooms are perfect. We will be staying again and would recommend to anyone. The pool is available during summer months.

We had a wonderful stay of three nights at Cortijo Amaya in Torrox. Very nice stay in a quiet surrounding. Nice room, fine working (!) airco, very good breakfast and Saskia and Vince are very nice people that made us feel at home. The cortijo has a good swimmingpool and a tennis yard. Private parkingplace. The cortijo is a few minutes drive from the splendid beach!

Had walked on from Nerja and called in for a well deserved drink, but we were not aware you had to be staying here to use the bar. We managed to use the w.c. though !! Looked a very nice hotel

We have been twice in last 2 years to this hotel ..Just love it...To me its luxury .Staff so helpful .Rooms / apts v spacious and cleaners in every day ...Restaurant lovely too and pool area so nice leading on to a beautiful beach where we spent our day. 10 minutes max in a taxi to Nerja town to see lovely quaint streets shops and many beautiful restaurants also ....We will be back next May 🙏💥

Excellent location as the hotel has beach frontage. Buffets are o.k. a bit repetitive one thing I would definitely change is the coffee. If you don't want to use the hotel for food it's a 20 minute walk to Nerja along the beach or a 6 minute €10.00 including tip by Taxi. Clean and well serviced and the staff are very professional and friendly.

Fabulous hotel on the beach front. Very clean. Food plentiful and lots of choice. All the staff were very friendly especially Gerarde from reception so helpful and polite unlike the lifeguard whom i found to be very rude.

Good sized hotel with nice pool area and grounds. Reasonable food and good sized apartments. Plenty of car parking. Not in Nerja centre so expect 20 minute walk along the beach.

We have been very comfortable during our vacation. For us it has been perfect, because we were not in the center of Nerja, which gave us peace of mind to rest while being secluded and without parking problems. And the possibility of visiting other areas. Cecilio and his wife have been charming and very attentive. Anything that may have arisen has been tried to be resolved as soon as possible.

As always spectacular, there is no better place and we always repeat. All attention to detail, family treatment and an unbeatable price.

The hotel was clean, and the room was nice. But no tea coffee sugar or milk,but they did supply a kettle 2 x cups and tea spoons. Reception staff had the most miserable faces. A small fridge with 2 small bottles of water that never got replaced. Breakfast was not the best luke warm most days, and you had to go to another hotel(across the road) to eat it. This is a return stay here. Lovely staff,our maid is the best we've ever had left our room spotless and smells fresh ever time she cleaned it. Zoe the jet 2 rep was very helpful. The hotel in general is 4 🌟 Only thing I would suggest is a few more sun bed's please for when we return.

This hotel has many cool features. There is mood lighting in the room. There is a digital display over the sink to show how much water you used. They have installed rain showers overall the hotel is extremely clean and feels modern and fresh. We also fully enjoyed the breakfast. Would stay here again.

Hotel is excellent. It is very comfortable, modern, clean and fresh. Room has a huge TV with all the international channels you need. Roof top jacuzzis are an extra bonus and was great fun ☺️. It's very good for what it is, which is a tourist hotspot. I was visiting relatives, which is why I chose this location. It's not very exclusive due to the number of guests, but overall it was a nice stay with great food. Expect the usual sunbed flies early in the morning. There was entertainment every night and the staff are all great and attentive as much as possible.

My wife and I, two mid-octogenarians, have just spent 28 nights at this hotel. The hotel is well placed in the centre of things, it took me 10 minutes to walk to the centre of this charming little town. The hotel is manned by efficient, helpful professional staff who speak English. No rooms have a sea view but are well appointed, our room 208, had a walk in shower and a balcony with a view of the mountains...

The staff were extremely helpful, and available if needed. Our room was clean, spacious and well-appointed with a pleasant balcony. The cafe attached was a real bonus when just a coffee and light breakfast was needed. Recommended.

My wife and I visited the Cavana plaza hotel, Nerja in October and we absolutely loved it. Just back from a fantastic 3 night stay in Plaza Cavana. This was our 3rd time staying here. -Very central for scenic walks, beaches, restaurants, bars etc -Clean, spacious rooms -Breakfast buffet had lots of variety and it was lovely to have the option of eating outside -Pool with cocktails on the roof is my favourite part. -Staff are always so helpful and friendly. Return Visit - excellent hotel centrally located in Plaza Cavana only 100 meters (approx) from the Balcon de Europa. The hotel is maintained to a very high standard, rooms are comfortable and very clean. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. We look forward to our return.

This is our 2nd time here and already talking about booking for next year. Lovely staff, great location and fabulous clean rooms. Our only problem was the air conditioning didn't seem to be working. I asked 3 tines, and if anyone did look at it, it wasn't repaired. It was actually cooler outside than in our room

Exceptionally clean and fantastic location! Only issue I had was with the constant humming from the electric box in the room. It was very loud. I got ear plugs on the 1st day but even with them, I could still hear the noise. Street noise was there also.

Clean, comfortable rooms in very good location. You can have a breakfast in nice bar nearby. Booking process (telephone + Whatsapp) was easy, Montse was helpful and described everything I needed. I checked in late without any problems. Price was good for what you get there. Recommended!

No lift and only 10 rooms, so you need to be fit if you are on the upper floors. Also cold inside the rooms, need to put the heating on, although in the high summer it will be a welcome relief from the heat.

Hotel Puerta del Mar may be the very best option to stay at the heart of Nerja. The hotel is freshly decorated, clean and well kept. I would say what sets it apart aside from any other hotel in the area is it's location at the very center of Nerja, and what I can only describe as an underrated terrace that we had almost to ourselves the one afternoon we decided to lounge there.

The staff are amazing, especially the girl with blond hair. The hotel itself is kept clean. The rooms are decent. You have plenty of selection in terms of TV channels. The only criticism I have is the people who reserve sunbeds without returning for hours, maybe a sign to say you can only reserve for max up to an hour without return and theirs a lack of umbrellas for the percentage of beds overall...

Exceptional! The room exceeded our expectations and everything was super clean and new. Breakfast was okay. It is about a one minute walk to the Balcony of Europa. We drove in trying to get a free parking spot as suggested by the hotel - chaos! There is a municipal parking garage near the Balcony and next to the hotel and this may be your best option even though it is a little pricey.

All staff were super. I couldn't access diningroom for breakfast as I'm a wheelchair user but when we went to manager he was so good. Prime location but at certain times almost impossible to get served. We waited a good 20 minutes outside and watched many people get up and leave before we eventually got served. We were told there was only one bar man on duty. Poor show and such a shame.

The google navigation not helping, it took us more than 30 min driving around and end up in a public parking which cost 23 euro for 12 hours. This hotel is in the most quaint quarter of Nerja, over looking the stunning coastal area. The hotel is Spotless with the most wonderful staff ,in every area of the hotel. The choice of breakfast is excellent, freshly made crepes/ Omelettes to order. Small but refreshing pool and hot tub,overlooking a small beach with guest sun beds .

Not a bad hotel. They should consider putting a tea kettle in the rooms so guests can fix a tea or coffee in the room and not be obliged to go to the in-house cafe that doesn't open until 9 am.

Great hotel, fantastic location (top location), well cleaned daily, great system to collect your key when the reception is closed. But…….. this morning we wanted to leave the hotel at 7 am to go to the airport. The electric door did not open, no one accessible (by phone) and bars on the windows. With some fiddling, the door finally opened. We were on time….. but you don't have to think about it...

Amazing location right on the Balcón de Europa with the room having an amazing view. There was no one to do check-in when we arrived, instead the keys were left in safe boxes, which was easy enough, but did feel strange not to be greated by a member of staff.
