Boutique Hotel Lähde

It's a well located hotel close to the lappeenranta harbour. Bed was good and environment is clean. Wheelchair accessible. Breakfast was good 👍 😋

I stayed at Hotel Lähde in June 2024. The hotel is superbly located at the lakefront and just a few minute walk from the city center. I was lucky to have a room on the 4th floor with a balcony overlooking the lake. The room was really spacious, bigger than any of the standards in the other hotels in Lappeenranta. Although it's clear the hotel is not new, the room was really well maintained and clean. The bed, pillows and linen were comfortable and I appreciated the branded Finnish bathroom amenities.

Checking in was a bit slow for my taste, but checking out in turn simple by just leaving the key at the desk.

I warmly recommend preferring Lähde over other options in the city.

Nicely decorated rooms on the Boutique hotel side. Excellent typical Finnish breakfast with wide selection. Nice location in the harbour.

Room is clean, bed linen feels fresh and crispy, washrooms is clean, mini fridge in the rooms, very quite even with windows facing the street. Smart TV in the room.

Totally worth the price

Lahde / Old Spa is a great hotel. A little quaint, but you can't expect otherwise in Lappeenranta. The breakfast has nice offerings, although I am not a fan of the juice machines they often use in Finland. Fortunately, a nice smoothy was offered. The room I had (42) was extremely spacious. Really large, good shower, big towels, again little to complain about. The only small complaint: I'd like a cooker in the room for coffee and tea. Now I had to run down, but I couldn't find tea after 10pm. The location is also great. Next to the lake. In summer a lot of cars want to try out their engines, but the windows closed very tightly, so no problem at night. I also had a lovely balcony.

The Lähde Boutique hotel in Lappeenranta is perfect choice if you look for good quality accommodation while visiting the town. The staff is polite and helpful, rooms are decorated nicely and the breakfast is absolutely great! Location, location, location! The hotel is by the lake Saimaa and Lappeenranta harbour. If you travel by train the station is 15-20 minutes walk from the hotel. If you drive there is plenty of parking space. Tip! Relax your body and mind by taking a massage. There are two huge massaging chairs in the ground floor of the hotel and you can use them without any extra cost.

Excellent location, moderate price tag, good breakfasts, parking 12 euros per day.
