We had a fantastic stay at Virpi Villa! Even though we arrived late, the hosts were incredibly accommodating and provided us with the key at midnight. The villa was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. Great location and peaceful surroundings. Highly recommend!

Its a great place to spend your vacation in Roavniemi. It’s also near the city center so you can also visit there by walk. The host was really nice and welcoming. Despite arriving late due to some circumstances and we still got the key and had a smooth check-in.

The hotel was in a very good location. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. Unfortunately, the water was always lukewarm to cold. Even the lukewarm water wasn’t enough to rinse off properly.

Very nice views along the river! All very clean. It has games for the children and private saunas that are wonderful. The only problem is that there are few light points, the second day we could not plug in the caravan.

It is place to fall in love with. I stayed in cabin nr.20, a cosy little house with so much love for details. Very clean, quite, directly at the riverbank. There is a nice, well equiped kitchen inside, and a spotless bathroom/toilet. The wifi is lightning fast and free. I wish I could have stayed longer. Best accommodation in Finnland for me. Wonderful place! You have everything for a great rest. The minor problem is that is not in the city soy you need a taxi and the internet is no so good in the cottages. But it is totally worth it

The owner is one of the most kind people I have ever met in hotels. He is helpful and they were keeping the hotel extremely clean. The property is walking distance from city centre. Airport is only 10 mins in a taxi. I am grateful for other residents, staff and the owner who opened my room when I'm locked out. Met wonderful people. I had a great time. I would definitely recommend this property.

The guest house is located at a walk-able distance from Rovaniemi main bus station and the city centre. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. There's a common kitchen for use by the residents. The Arktikum museum and garden also close by so you can easily walk searching for aurora in winter. Above all, the owner and his team was quite helpful.

Location is central which is convenient for those with cars like us. We noticed the reception was almost always 'totally full' with roomless tourist groups and their bags. It is not pleasant to have to almost step over people walking in and out of the building. Hence only 4 stars. Reception staff were helpful. Nice experience overall expect that we booked 2 nights for a luxury room with sauna and we are told there is no sauna room available when we arrive at the reception. We only had 25% off the dinner at the restaurant...We had to negotiate to be upgraded the next night (which we were and it was nice). Also we were told we could not eat our own food at the reception which is a shame when we know the price...

We came here twice for afternoon tea and coffee by the fire. The coffee was the best I tasted of all the hotels we visited in Finland. The hotel has a very beautiful, relaxing, and cosy atmosphere. It is worth coming here just to enjoy the stunning views from the café (ground floor) and restaurant (first floor). The gift shop had overpriced but beautiful Lapish wooden mugs and gnomes. They kept cleanliness. There aren’t any amenity. You don’t take bath towel. There are some kinds of tea and pot. We often use supermarket and we borrowed spoons . We could leave our own luggage in the luggage room both before check in and after that. But that room is easy to come in, so you must use your own key to protect your luggage. Overall it was a nice hotel with good service. Breakfast spread was pretty decent compared to your typical European breakfast variety. Should warn customers prior to stay about view from those rooms as is a privacy issue and disappointing to keep curtains closed all the time for privacy. I had a fantastic stay at the Arctic City Hotel, a charming boutique property. The breakfast was excellent, offering a great variety to start the day. The on-site restaurant served amazing food, and the downstairs bar was outstanding, with a vibrant atmosphere and top-notch drinks. However, the aluminium plating of shower cap is peel off that my finger is hurt. 4 pieces of towels are turned into grey colour and their edge are thrown. We stayed at this lovely hotel for two days and it was a very good experience. At the right price the cabin offers a lot of space and a cozy atmosphere. Bed is super comfortable. Sofa-bed not quite but not bad also. Fridge and microwave, helps to eat some meals in the cabin. In the room you will also find a coffee maker (but not coffee) and a teapot. Sauna es fantastic!

The service was very good. Everyone was very polite. The place was beautiful and I took a lot of photos. We checked out a little late but didn't say anything. It was a pity that we didn't see the northern lights here. Because it's made of wood, it may have a bit of smell. But if you want to take pictures, I recommend a single bed. I thought it was a small wooden house, but it turned out to be a big wooden house😂 The sauna is very hot and refreshing. It is some distance from the city, but there is a ski resort next to it, which is very suitable for skiers. Although there is food available in the morning, lunch and dinner are a bit expensive, with a burger costing 24 or 25 euros.

The whole hotel has a very good environment. There are ski resorts nearby and a sauna by the river. I saw many people swimming by the river and taking a sauna. It was very comfortable! The room is okay, but not big. The breakfast in the hotel is rich and delicious!

Easy no frills accommodations This was a one night stop for us. The apartment is fine for what it is-zero frills accommodation. The lady cleaning is very sweet. Easy to find however please note, you have to pick up the keys from a bar that is a 5-7 min walk away. We didn’t know this and my kids sat outside freezing for 15-20min while I ran to find the key place. It’s right in town so close to everything
