Nice experience overall expect that we booked 2 nights for a luxury room with sauna and we are told there is no sauna room available when we arrive at the reception. We only had 25% off the dinner at the restaurant...We had to negotiate to be upgraded the next night (which we were and it was nice). Also we were told we could not eat our own food at the reception which is a shame when we know the price...

We came here twice for afternoon tea and coffee by the fire. The coffee was the best I tasted of all the hotels we visited in Finland. The hotel has a very beautiful, relaxing, and cosy atmosphere. It is worth coming here just to enjoy the stunning views from the café (ground floor) and restaurant (first floor). The gift shop had overpriced but beautiful Lapish wooden mugs and gnomes. We'll visit again

We had a wonderful time there. Everything feels like a dream. Nice location on a hill to give a resort feel while also being close to the city centre. Great restaurant and food. The room with sauna is amazing. All staff are friendly and helpful.

Service is helpful but need attention on room cleaning. They only make up our bed. Location located at the center of the attraction, all was walking distance. Breakfast was good enough and staff were wonderful.

The location is very good indeed with spending in amount of US$590 for 2 nights . The front desk services is good too! However, the aluminium plating of shower cap is peel off that my finger is hurt. 4 pieces of towels are turned into grey colour and their edge are thrown. There is no connection with house keeping or front desk about your problem in room, you need go to front desk next morning...

We stayed at this lovely hotel for two days and it was a very good experience. At the right price the cabin offers a lot of space and a cozy atmosphere. Bed is super comfortable. Sofa-bed not quite but not bad also. Fridge and microwave, helps to eat some meals in the cabin. In the room you will also find a coffee maker (but not coffee) and a teapot. Sauna es fantastic!

I arrived at midnight and was greeted by my name, handed the key card and told when breakfast was and where: the least hassle I've ever had when checking in to a hotel. Overall a good stay, clean and quiet. would recommend some darkcurtains for the apartments as its quite bright outside during spring/summer. Breakfast could use an upgrade, but still good as it was.

They kept cleanliness. There aren’t any amenity. You don’t take bath towel. There are some kinds of tea and pot. We often use supermarket and we borrowed spoons . We could leave our own luggage in the luggage room both before check in and after that. But that room is easy to come in, so you must use your own key to protect your luggage. However this service is so helpful!

We visited this hotel in summer, though it is probably better to visit in winter. The hotel consists of lots of cabins (“igloos”) each of which has a large windows that in winter allow you to see the night sky, in summer it lets you see the midnight sun, which may or may not be your thing. Overall it was a nice hotel with good service. Breakfast spread was pretty decent compared to your typical European breakfast variety. The main courses that is included in the booking was also not bad - we ordered the Scallop Risotto and Beef Tenderloin. The bed however was very soft, not for those who prefer firm mattresses. It was a pity as we couldn’t witness any Aurora due to cloudy weather so...

The hotel is in an excellent location, very convenient for sightseeing and shopping. The facilities and dining provided by the hotel are very good. Although I only stayed for one night, I was still impressed, especially seeing the northern lights at night .

Lovely hotel in city centre easy access to other places. Rooms compact, clean and restaurant excellent. Only negative is some rooms windows face directly on car park needs net curtain to block. Should warn customers prior to stay about view from those rooms as is a privacy issue and disappointing to keep curtains closed all the time for privacy. Good for those with allergies food clearly labelled

I had a fantastic stay at the Arctic City Hotel, a charming boutique property. The breakfast was excellent, offering a great variety to start the day. The on-site restaurant served amazing food, and the downstairs bar was outstanding, with a vibrant atmosphere and top-notch drinks. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, making the experience even better. I will definitely stay again!

It's a little far from the hotel where you check in, but considering the cheap price it wasn't too much of an issue, and once you're checked in it's pretty close to the center.

The location is also close to the city centre, but you have to check in at Santa hotel Claus and then walk another 10 minutes to the hotel, which is a bit inconvenient. The hotel staff is very nice, they understand Cantonese, are attentive, and patiently explained nearby places and transportation. Finally, they also helped arrange a taxi to Rovaniemi railway station.

It's a bit of a walk from the check-in point, but it's a good hotel. Hotels around Rovaniemi are quite expensive, so I chose this hotel, but for those who don't mind walking a bit, I think the location is not too bad.

Room is clean, but the heater is still a little bit not enough. There is no reception, you have to walk around 10 mins to the counter which is inconvenient in winter

A pretty good hotel~ However, I had trouble finding the check-in counter because it was located at a different location than the hotel. You should check the location carefully when making a reservation.

People are very kind and accomodating. The breakfast is not good, frustrating when you pay a high price for the stay. We stayed 5 nights and had no cleaning in the appartment which was weird but ok, we got to ask for new towels

A great apartment. Easy location to the city and about 15 mins taxi to SCV. The woods and the snow area around the hotel made it for us. Our little boy loved playing in the snow and there is so much scope to do so around the hotel grounds.

We liked the flexibility of having an apartment. Super clean and felt roomy enough for a family of four. Great sauna and the property was nice and warm - sound proofing not great, you can hear your near neighbours. The hotel is a short taxi ride from the town centre and all all attractions. Supermarket about a 10-min walk away.
