Lovely hotel in city centre easy access to other places. Rooms compact, clean and restaurant excellent. Only negative is some rooms windows face directly on car park needs net curtain to block. Should warn customers prior to stay about view from those rooms as is a privacy issue and disappointing to keep curtains closed all the time for privacy. I had a fantastic stay at the Arctic City Hotel, a charming boutique property. The breakfast was excellent, offering a great variety to start the day. The on-site restaurant served amazing food, and the downstairs bar was outstanding, with a vibrant atmosphere and top-notch drinks. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, making the experience even better. I will definitely stay again!

We stayed here November 8, 2025.. we already knew that check in was at the main hotel, so went straight there and we checked in and they held our luggage as we went straight to Santa Village. The receptionist was very helpful.. when we picked up our luggage, we went to the Rudolph and it was different, but quaint and clean enough.. no problems and stores close by for something to eat.

It's a little far from the hotel where you check in, but considering the cheap price it wasn't too much of an issue, and once you're checked in it's pretty close to the center.

The location is also close to the city centre, but you have to check in at Santa hotel Claus and then walk another 10 minutes to the hotel, which is a bit inconvenient. Nice experience overall expect that we booked 2 nights for a luxury room with sauna and we are told there is no sauna room available when we arrive at the reception. We came here twice for afternoon tea and coffee by the fire. The coffee was the best I tasted of all the hotels we visited in Finland. The hotel has a very beautiful, relaxing, and cosy atmosphere. It is worth coming here just to enjoy the stunning views from the café (ground floor) and restaurant (first floor). The gift shop had overpriced but beautiful Lapish wooden mugs and gnomes. If you are more interested in the sports part this place is great! If your focus is more on the hotel side I'd suggest looking for another accommodation. Food options aren't great, it's a bit far from everything and rooms are OK. Nothing is bad, just feel like the nice hotels in town would offer a better experience overall

Since it's an overseas hotel, there are no amenities, but the staff were very kind and helpful. It's in the middle of the city, so restaurants and supermarkets are nearby. They also left my luggage there after I checked out. Since my return night train was at 9pm, I was allowed to wait at the hotel for a while after sightseeing. The breakfast was also very good.

Its a great place to spend your vacation in Roavniemi. It’s also near the city center so you can also visit there by walk. The host was really nice and welcoming. Despite arriving late due to some circumstances and we still got the key and had a smooth check-in.

I stayed with my family in one of the apartments and it was very clean and organized, we were very comfortable. The location is also very good as it is only a few minutes from the center. On the other hand, the store is very cozy and has very good quality handmade products.

We stopped here for a night on our eay home from a ski holiday. Our family room for 5 was perfect...the kitchen/dining was useful as we got a local takeaway for dinner and thanks for leaving us coffee etc...great set up and great location close to the snow glow park for kids, shopping centre with glow mini golf and the bus transfer to lapland winter park and the airport. Our family of two adults and two teenagers visited northern Finland during the second week of November 2024. We stayed in cabin Lauri IV, and it was a cozy, cute little cabin. The cabin was clean and we had plenty of space. We only wished the fireplace worked!

I didn't see any hotel management the whole time. It's in an ordinary residential building, similar to a homestay. You will receive check-in instructions one day in advance, check in with a password, then find the room yourself, enter the password (there is a box in the upper right corner of the room door) and get the key. When you leave, just put the key on the door.

The hotel has no front desk or service staff. It is an apartment hotel and requires self-service key collection. The facilities in the room are rich and convenient, but the cupboard of the room I stayed in had three buckets of garbage left by previous guests. It smelled like it had been rotting for many days:( We stayed with the garbage for one night
