I go to Rovaniemi every year for work. First time in this hotel. I got a room in the annex. Apparently refurbished but a long way from reception, including an 80m long poorly lit tunnel. Room was spartan with no desk which was frustrating. No business centre and nowhere to work. I'd specifically asked for a quiet room but got the one by the lifts, probably the noisiest. We had a fantastic stay at Virpi Villa! Even though we arrived late, the hosts were incredibly accommodating and provided us with the key at midnight. The villa was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. Great location and peaceful surroundings. Highly recommend!

Its a great place to spend your vacation in Roavniemi. It’s also near the city center so you can also visit there by walk. The host was really nice and welcoming. Despite arriving late due to some circumstances and we still got the key and had a smooth check-in.

Me and my girlfriend had a very nice stay at Villa Virpi! It's a very cosy and warm place with nice people. And their dog is very cute! We recommend staying here if you travel to Rovaniemi - it is very close to Santa Claus Village (10 minute car ride) and less than 5 minutes walk to the supermarket. A perfect place for a stay! The rooms were extremely clean, and set up very well for a family. We stayed at this lovely hotel for two days and it was a very good experience. At the right price the cabin offers a lot of space and a cozy atmosphere. Bed is super comfortable. They kept cleanliness. There aren’t any amenity. You don’t take bath towel. There are some kinds of tea and pot. We often use supermarket and we borrowed spoons . We could leave our own luggage in the luggage room both before check in and after that. But that room is easy to come in, so you must use your own key to protect your luggage. Came here for only one night before my flight south. Facilities are good (well equipped kitchen!) and the room was clean and tidy, though a bit cold at night. Reception wasn’t that useful for questions, and was strict about check-out time (10:00am).

The staff is super helpful and friendly, they speak English very well (they speak German too). They tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible, the breakfast is awesome, the rooms are quiet, clean and cleaned regularly, we got fresh towels regularly too. The bus/train station is like 3 minutes from there to Santa's village, the city center is 15 minutes by foot. I'd very much recommend this...

The facilities are great, but there are a few issues that interrupt sleep. There is no door to the bedroom, and the blinds on the front window that looks to the street can't be closed so light streams in. The hotel's laundry is apparently downstairs and the staff were talking and laughing until about 11pm. However, the kitchen is well equipped and there is a good washing machine.
