I go to Rovaniemi every year for work. First time in this hotel. I got a room in the annex. Apparently refurbished but a long way from reception, including an 80m long poorly lit tunnel. It’s conveniently located 10mins walk from Santa Claus village. The room and service is excellent. However, if you are expecting to see aurora whilst lying in bed, it’s probably not going to happen. Me and my girlfriend had a very nice stay at Villa Virpi! It's a very cosy and warm place with nice people. And their dog is very cute! We recommend staying here if you travel to Rovaniemi - it is very close to Santa Claus Village (10 minute car ride) and less than 5 minutes walk to the supermarket.
