3 star hotels in Annecy

I am a UK travel agent with guests at this hotel right now. The hotel is in a perfect location and my customers have been very well looked after, particularly by Maxime, who has been friendly, efficient and helpful, both in person and when communicating via email prior to their visit. This has far exceeded my expectations for a budget hotel and I will certainly recommend this to future customers.

This is a gem, right in the centre of the tremendously beautiful Annecy. All the staff, without exception, were professional, helpful, friendly, and constructive. A thoroughly enjoyable family visit which we hope to repeat soon.

Visited IBIS, it is in a perfect location overlooking the river running from the lake. Two swans visible every day outside. On the door step of the old medieval town, which is beautiful. The IBIS team put on a fantastic Halloween party with an excellent band... I was really impressed with the dedication to customers. Rooms are comfortable.

Considering this is a budget, not high end hotel, I had to give it a five star. Our room was larger than I expected. Very clean. Thank you housekeeping. Friendly staff. Plenty of room for our suitcases. Amazing location. Everything and more than we needed for a three night stay. First of all I would like to talk about Mr. Lorenzo, we came at 10:30 AM and I asked him to faster my check in because we were to much exhausted from flights and transit. Just in 10 minutes he we entered our room instead of checking in at 17:00. All the staff here are friendly and Lorenzo is a hero. My sincere gratitude to him and all the staff. Great location in the center of it all and far from the noise.. Delicious buffet breakfast that includes scrambled and hard-boiled eggs, sausages, a variety of breads, fruits, cheeses, and coffee. Walking distance to the lake, the bus and train stations, and a small supermarket. We would definitely stay here again.

it was a pretty good experience the staff where nice they could speak English the rom was not bad for the price the rooms where clean and so where the sheets the bathroom was a bit small but in all a great experience

Very friendly staff who helped with every request. The hotel was great value for a triple room and unlike other reviews on here the room was big. Bathroom clean but the room itself wasn’t as clean with a very dusty door and a piece of chewing gum on the carpet. The bed had an exposed spring in the mattress and ripped sheets. Ask for a room at the back of the hotel to avoid noise from the busy road...

A rather disappointing stay! The welcome was good. Our room was small and there was no fridge (this will be a question asked before booking any hotel in future!) The air conditioning unit was blowing cold air and we were told that it would change to warm air during October. We stayed here for three nights and explored the town and nearby mt. veyrier. Its a good location to walk from sncf train station and to and from the gorgeous centerville along the beautiful river. Nice place to stay in and discover the beautiful city Annecy and Le lac .. heaven on earth. The lac is like a 20-min drive from the hotel.

Gréât location, walking distance to the center and lake. Back room facing the church is a beautiful view but noisy at night from people hanging out in the park below the room. Rooms clean, simple and comfortable, user friendly and kitchenette handy if needed. Loved that liquid soap was provided also as a shampoo. Great location, nice and clean and cozy room. Baby cribs and baby chaires during breakfast available! An average simple breakfast was ok. We did not appreciate crazy high and not comfortable bed.

Small apartment with basic kitchen but bed folds up to give larger living space. Ideal for a base to explore the area. We'll maintained and clean with friendly efficient staff.

Hidden gem on the edge of the historic district! Marie and staff were beyond helpful and were warm and welcoming. I normally pass on a hotels breakfast, preferring a local cafe but the breakfast here is as good as anything we’ve had in France with an emphasis on local ingredients and fresh (the croissants were still warm) pastries. Lovely little hotel in Annecy with private parking. The rooms are modern and very well-maintained however the standard rooms are quite small so best for short stays. Four stars because the pillows are hard as a rock. The city centre and train station are nearby but the hotel is quiet.

Excellent accommodations and service. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, the location is perfect, and Sylvia, at the front desk, is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best that we have had so far (two weeks in to our travels in France) and Splendid Hotel has been our favorite place to stay. Thank you for the hospitality! We will return!

Perfect location! Easy to find, and easy to park at the "parking de l'Hotel de Ville" across the street. Modern, comfortable rooms, and a great view of the canals from our window.

Came here to attending the Annecy animation festival, I live here for a week, the hotel is clean and comfort, my room have a good view of Annecy Lake. The Miss in accommodation desk is very kind hearted.

The hotel is directly at the lake - nice view! The breakfast was good. The bed in our room was tiny; too small for two average sized adults. The bathroom was also small, not perfectly clean, and lacked ventilation. The bathroom has a sliding door which does not fulfill the requirements of room separation.

Last night tonite and staff have been amazing. First night the night staff he bent over backwards to help get a travel cot, and was so kind, all staff have been so helpful. Good size room for our family of five. And our children are 5 and under can easy get bus into the city.. love this hotel thank you ..

I stayed there as part of a school trip so my experience is limited as i didn't interact with the staff and had limited access in the hotel. Standalone customers will be pleased to know that big groups such as schools are limited to their rooms and not to public spaces. While the room was small and had "popcorn walls" it was kept clean and well stocked (towels,soaps) lastly i found the food to be borderline...

Hotel located in quite location. It is well connected to bus station. With no 3 bus , you can reach Anncey lake in 10 mins. Rooms are quite small. Breakfast was not included in price (120 per night for family of 3), so we did not try. Kind staff ! Rooms are kept well!

The hotel is okay, the room was a bit small but we only spent the night here so it wasn't really a problem, the staff was pleasant. The only thing I didn't like was the elevator, I have never been on an elevator like this one before, I experienced terrible motion sickness every time we used it. We opted to take the stairs when we were leaving.

People at the reception were very gentle and friendly. Although its a bit far from the city center, its easy to get to the lake and have a nice walk.

Hotel is alrighty. Location is nice. My only complaint is that the room was extremely cold and lacked oxygen (which was annoying because I had to open the window to prevent myself from suffocating, making the room even colder). All in all, it's okay if you're travelling by car.

The car insurance had booked this hotel for us as they couldn't provide another car in same day .. it cozy nice place as well good to stay in for short time

Can't really fault it for the price.. Great location, clean room, nice and warm, friendly service. Parking was super easy approx 150m away in the underground place and with the card from the hotel it only cost 7eur for 24 hours. Plus it had loads of cheap EV charging. Going in November I guess it was quiet, only another 4 people in the breakfast and full choice available. Not many hot options but...

Next to the train and bus station and not more than 5 min on foot from the old town,location is perfect.Room was nice,with everything you need like fridge,tv ,aircontition . Bed was very comfortable and bathroom very nice.The room is small but we knew that and it’s big enough for a couple. WiFi was free and with good signal.

Fantastic location, only around 5-10 mins away from the Lake and Le Palais de I'Île. If you are getting Flix/Bla Bla bus, it’s only around 2 mins away from bus stop, there’s also supermarkets nearby aswell. Rooms are decent size, mostly clean and staff are friendly. Bathroom is modern and spacious. Only feedback would be better pillows, they were super thin, I’m fussy though! 😆 Thanks again

The room was a little odd, this hotel like the Campanile in Lyon, needs to take a finer cone to their cleaning. Service was wonderful and it was in the perfect location to see the old city as well as make my train in the morning. Would have liked a room not in the rafters on the 4th floor.

Great location in the city centre. Missed vegan and gluten-free options for breakfast, but wrote staff ahead, and they bought soy milk for breakfast. Very service minded. The morning coffee was strong and bitter. We had to rooms, and got a free upgrade on one of the rooms. So great 👌🏻

Clean, quiet, and 10 min. walk along the river from the old town. Breakfast is not a feast, no hot items, very sweet musli, but bread, ham, cheese are tasteful. No coffee in the rooms, but free coffee available in the lobby.

We had a great stay at Le Flamboyant. The location is very good for traveling all around, with free parking. The room is spacious and clean, breakfast was good, although we missed some tommatos, which would be great if it was included :-) The staff was kind and helpful, we will recomend our friends to stay in this hotel .

A curates egg of a place. The building has an unusual design with most rooms having view of the surrounding mountains. Rooms very comfortable with separate toilet (a feature all should have as aids sharing a room). Lacks a lift (or else we didn't find one!) yet has ramps up to some rooms near reception. Comfortable hotel at a 30m walk from the city center. Furthermore, there is a supermarket at a convenient 5m walk from the hotel, while the lake can be reached in approx. 10m. Ground floor is fully accessible by wheelchair / stroller and rooms are quote spacious (easily fitted out baby cot). Also, there is a dedicated load/unload parking spot and free parking space next to the hotel.

What a great hotel in Annecy - Hotel les Terrasses was perfect for our stay. The rooms are of a good size, with good beds, bedding and immaculately clean. Great garden, very clean and fairly spacious hotel with parking in a great location. Nice staff and quiet place just by the city center. Breakfast isn't large and various but it's ok. Shower could be better but other than that, it was a good stay!

We loved the fact that the hotel is situated just a few minutes from the beach and maybe 15 minutes walk from the old town. The staff are very very friendly and speak very good English. The rooms themselves have everything you need - super comfortable bed and fluffy pillows, clean bathroom and toilet. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a weekend...

Location was perfect, safe & quite. Street parking is limited (impossible on weekends) but there is parking lot around the corner for €20 a day. Rooms were small but functional. Wall blow dryer was horrible. Breakfast was ok in selection. With all that in mind, I would stay here again.

Well if you are just interested in a short stay and a small al breakfast it is good. The location near the city makes it nice. The room prices are moderate from 70 till 130€ per night. It is important to make a reservation with discussing about the room price if you want to get an effort.

It was really good. We had great time there. The only thing that wasn't ok was the balcony and the variety of the food for breakfast. Except this it was incredible thanks to the good stuff. Thank you!
