Le Relais du Postillon is fantastic and I will be returning. It is housed in a typical old townhouse on a pedestrianised square in the old town of Antibes, just a 10 minute walk to the train station. The bus station is around the corner.
My bedroom had a large patio with a wooden floor which was not overlooked at all. Total privacy to sit in the sun and read. There is a primary school behind the hotel so it was very quiet except for the joyful laughter of children during play time. My room had a very comfortable bed, private bathroom with a good shower, desk and large wardrobe. There was a tv with French channels. Some programs were in English.
The breakfast buffet was the best I have experienced in France. The croissants and pains au chocolat were the best I have ever tasted and I tasted quite a few. The bread changed daily but was lovely and fresh. The fresh fruit, especially the melon, was divine. There was a lot of choice. You could sit inside or outside on the terrace.
Dinner at Le Relais du Postillon was delicious. I stayed at the hotel for dinner three times. The portions are very large and the ingredients are fresh and tasty. Great value for money!
I was a solo traveler and felt welcomed and safe. There was a lovely atmosphere. It was obvious that the staff liked working there and know the area well. I could leave my luggage until I had to go to the airport which was a great help.

Our room was attractive, comfortable and well located. It was also very quiet. Just a short walk from the beautiful old part of town and the beach. It was great to relax on the beach after a morning of sightseeing and wandering. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless. Breakfast was included and the croissants were fantastic. A wide selection was served-fruit, cold cuts, cheese, cereal, etc. Very generous. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

This is a lovely small hotel in a great location in Antibes. Cleanliness was excellent and there is a small lift which is useful for luggage. The rooms are nicely decorated (they are better than they look in the photos) and the reception and housekeeping staff were very polite. Check in and check out were very smooth and the man on reception kindly ordered us a good taxi to the airport.
The only downsides were that the bar staff weren't very friendly and the square was quite loud on one of the three nights we stayed. The noise wasn't an issue for the other nights though, and it was easy to cancel out with earplugs.

Perfectly positioned and a good choice.
A very comfortable clean and convenient stay. The classic double was perfect for one - some couples may find it small. But very friendly service so I’d definitely recommend it.

A family run business; it’s not large but it is right in the center, the owner and family members are very kind and friendly, it gives you the basics and I recommend it. I had a bad experience in the morning with the night guard, who was so rude but that shouldn’t turn you away. It also has a nice terrace in front to have a drink or breakfast.

This stay was for 4 rooms/4 guests/4 nights - a group of women traveling together for a mini-conference.
Very good Quality/Price ratio - the quality and decor of the rooms (each one different from the next, each has it's own charm) and sitting areas. comfort and hospitality - all is to be appreciated. This small hotel has a lot to offer. Very good terrace, as well. Staying in the historical center of Antibes is a delight and the location and accessibility to parking, buses, trains could not be better.
The original reservation (in a nearby village) had to be cancelled at the last minute due to technical reasons, so I contacted this hotel in urgence to explain the situation - Gilles (Reception) could not have been more helpful in arranging the situation. This attitude continued throughout the stay - very professional and amiable staff. All of this was much appreciated.
The group very much enjoyed their stay, and look forward to returning again in the future. Thank you, Hotel Relais du Postillon!

This is a lovely hotel, particularly for a short winter break! Just 16 rooms which is perfect. It is in a fabulous location in the old town of Antibes with shops, bars, restaurants, the Picasso Museum and the marina within easy walking distance. Our room overlooked the main square and I would strongly recommend staying in one of the front rooms for the view. It was excellent value for money. There was a very comfortable and cosy lounge/bar which served meals and refreshments throughout the day. An excellent choice of hotel at this time of year and it was obviously very popular with the locals. All the staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. I can't fault it, we will definitely return, possibly next December so that we can visit the Christmas market and see the lights. We were just a bit too early this time.

Perfect hotel stay in Antibes
I only had one night in Antibes this trip and am very happy I chose to stay at this hotel. Room was beautifully decorated, the free buffet breakfast plentiful. I’ll be back.
