The other hotel reviews here are pretty accurate. We wanted something fairly last minute for a day on the coast and it worked for us because we really only needed a bed for the night, so we were probably only in the hotel a few hours. The arrival etc worked for us so no complaints there but….as per other reviews the hotel is VERY tired and in need to complete renovation. Rooms are really dated. It’s very unloved - there was a balcony but the table on it looked liked in had last been cleaned 5 years ago….We didn’t use the wifi but there is no aircon and we were street side which was very noisy until about 1am and then again from about 5am with lots of deliveries etc. It is brilliantly located, metres from beach, restaurants, Main Street etc so if you want a bed for the night in the centre of Arcachon and aren’t too fussed about quality, then this may work for you as well but staying here for any length of time probably wouldn’t be for us.

Room not ready on time - got in at 17:30, parking full, plenty of room for improvement. Overall demoralized staff who can’t explain the reasons for delays. Hotel well located which is its only advantage.

My spouse and I stayed 5 nights in June 2022 and enjoyed our stay thanks to Laurent @ the Front Desk. You arrive here as a guest & you leave as a friend. This is the reason why we will come back. The beach is only a few meters away as well as all the shops. A Leclerc Supermarché is also very near.

What a dump…
Room had not been cleaned at all. Dirty towels, overflowing garbage, stain on the bathroom floor like the toilet had backed up… Toilet didn’t flush when got there though.
Kitchenette in the room not equipped at all.
Reception promised to get the room cleaned. An hour later nothing had happened, back to reception. ‘Oh, that hasn’t been done yet? I’ll send someone right away’. Again nothing. Next time we got down to reception it was closed, staff had simply gone home.
Found random staff who told us to just drop the key in a box at reception as we had found an alternative not too far away. Quite surprised to see a whole bunch of keys on the counter at reception with the normally code-protected entrance door propped open with a chair. Open house for random bums in a hotel? Really weird.
We’ve stayed in odd placed over the years but this one takes the crown…

It is okay because of the location, but the room size is tiny and you can't walk all the way round the bed to get to wardrobe!!!! (See pic) There is a dishwasher in the room but a washing machine would be more useful!! And the lifts must be the slowest in the world 😏
