The swimming pool is without doubt the cleanest I have ever seen, and the entire property feels exceptionally well cared for. Friendly and attentive service throughout. Its a great hotel but you have to wear these ridiculous black swimshorts which are more like a black thong. I just want to swim😭

We have really enjoyed our stay for 4 nights at this hotel, with lovely staff and great food at both restaurants. The pool facilities were great, and the beach is just nearby. We travelled with our small child and we felt this hotel was very calm and family friendly. Thank you and hopefully we will be back some time.

The hotel has a great location, right by the beach. There are very good restaurants nearby. The breakfast is delicious. The rooms are comfortable. There is underground parking. But, unfortunately, there is no way to charge an electric car.

On the day of our arrival, my husband fell off his bike and was taken to hospital. After his discharge we arrived exhausted at the hotel. The reception team were very concerned for his health and helped us greatly. They kindly allowed us a late checkout so my husband could rest. We are very grateful to them all

Short stop over stay. Friendly and efficient reception staff. Modern, nice rooms. Excellent location close to the beach and lots of restaurants. Not cheap, but fairly priced. Ample underground parking spaces, but only accessible with remote control that has to be picked up in reception previously.

The positives - nice staff, comfortable room with a lovely sea view, and great location for spending the day on the beach. The negatives - Nowhere are you told in advance that you need to reserve parking before arrival. Nothing on the website or while booking. This meant we were left driving around for over an hour during high season looking for parking. Also, our shower was broken. It didn't drain...

Of course the hotel needs renovation but the view is so beautiful from the breakfast room and the meals made by a chef are just delicious. Access to the beaches from the hotel is very pleasant. The welcome is warm. After renovation of the rooms, the hotel would be at the top.

Fantastic view and great access to the beach

Everything was great about this hotel: location, room, staff, price, atmosphere. One big exception - the electronic room keys repeatedly failed to work. Visiting reception twice everytime you want to get into your room is very annoying. Over our 3 night stay this really should have been rapidly and properly fixed.

We were greeted by the 2 receptionists who made us very welcome and helpful. The room is well appointed and modern but the only downside is that most of the view from the patio is obscured by a lovely tree. Tea/coffee facilities are good, the bathroom clean however for someone with poor mobility getting in and out of the bath due to its height would be a problem and a handrail would be an excellent...

The hotel was very comfortable. The staff were especially helpful as I discovered a few days before departure that I messed up my booking. Also when we arrived very early expecting to have to wait several hours to get into our room - the receptionists honoured my earlier request for a very early check in. The hotel decor is a little dated in my opinion - but still nice. We would stay here again.

It was a bit tired looking, the location is great. Friendly helpful staff. Good place to park in the hotel. Make sure your car is below 1.80 m. Great food around. There is a bike rental place next door, it’s great to take a ride around the area and over to the massive Dunes .

We didn’t stay at the hotel as we have our own accommodation booked. We were recommended by French friends and we had dinner there, great atmosphere, old fashion French style. The food was good, very good meat and appetisers.

Very surprised at this accommodation and would highly recommend it. Nice, comfortable and sizeable rooms with balconies that are great for BYO pre-dinner drinks. Bathroom is a little challenging without a proper stand-up shower, but other than that, comfortable and clean and enjoyable.

Best service, food, wine list, hôtel, room and team. The charming hotel is a jewel i can only highly recommend to everybody. Awesome cuisine level at the restaurant with passionnate service. We will be back.

Quiet unassuming retreat on the hill above Arcachon. Seeped in delicious pine smells, wonderful spa, pool in summer... log fires in winter. Total relaxation.

Great value. Good location. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a very pleasant stay. I recommend Le Nautique highly. In Arcachon there is a good selection of restaurants. We took our bikes on the ferry to Cap Ferret and enjoyed the fine sand beaches there. Le Nautique was a great base from which to enjoy a variety of activities.

A lovely hotel where we were warmly welcomed. We had a great view to the beach and loved having the door open watching the thunder storm. We were easily able to store our bikes that we had rented in the shed out the back and our shower was certainly the best we have had on our trip.

This hotel deserves higher than a 3* rating! We arrived earlier than expected and asked could we park our Cark whilst we went for a walk. The lovely receptionist informed us our rooms were ready so we could check in straight away - 3 hours early!!!! That was very much appreciated. The rooms were spotlessly clean, a great size. One block from the port and short walk to fish market

We had a ceremony at 9:00 a.m. in Arcachon. We come from the Ardennes department. We found this hotel quite by chance and we were not disappointed. We might go back.

The name has now changed to Best Western - Arcachon Port. That confused me at first. I booked a last minute, quick trip to Arcachon because I was missing the beach. This place is such a great value, I found a low price and booked. Because of the price, I was nervous, but I had no need to be. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I think I was upgraded to a slightly larger room so size wasn’t an issue...

Located in the downtown of Arcachon at 8 minutes from the Train station and 5 minutes from the beach. Clean rooms and lovely owners. I do reccomend this place and I hope I will return. Continental breasfast can be served at the room with not extra charge. Pet friendly. Air conditioning. The size of the room was pretry ok. You have a supermarket just around the corner open 7/7.

Very nice stay. Cozy and clean room, very friendly staff. And the location of the hotel is great. Also, it is possible to reserve parking a couple of blocks from the hotel, at the Indigo parking, very convenient.

They have some rum aged with fruit in the lobby. Very tasty and nice to sip. Did not stay here, only stopped by to taste the rum.

It cares every details. Towel has a good scent, cleansing gel is eco-friendly, and etc. The receptionist is very kind. very easy to approach to beach, sea bus, shopping, traditional market, etc.

A charming hotel, in the city center, at 20m of the beach. The entrance is beautiful with a bar and the reception. The rooms are spacious, with convenient storage and furniture and the bed was excellent.

This hotel is great value for money. Nice clean room. Great location as it is close to centre and beach (8 minutes walk) . The swimming pool always open. The staff is friendly. The reception is open 24/7. What more could you want? I strongly recommend it.

Quite basic and dated. This was the odd hotel of our trip somehow. The rooms are really dated, small, a bit noisy in places. The staff was not particularly warm and just did their work, I didn’t feel welcomed. There are more stairs in this hotel than in all other places we went during our trip combined. The elevator didn’t seem to bring you to your floor but to a half floor only?

We stayed 1 week in this hotel. Spacious room, very clean. Very good location, close to the beach (10mn walk) and the city center, while being in a quiet area. Very warm welcome and pleasant staff. Only downside for the breakfast served in your room, it lacks fruit.

Taken for 3 days in Arcachon, the hotel is pleasant and clean. The small parking lot behind the establishment is appreciable. The room (104 in our case) was clean, the bedding pleasant, the shower room (with separate WC) clean and well appointed. The balcony is quite large and pleasant too. Very friendly staff too, and breakfast is served in your room. Very good.

Brilliant location close to a fantastic beach a short distance from the centre of Arcachon. The hotel was perfect for our needs as a base for a 4 night visit to the Arcachon Bassin and Dune du Pilat. Our room at the front of the hotel on the second floor included a balcony and was large and airy with air-conditioning (not sure if all rooms have air-conditioning). The swimming pool is a great bonus...

Hotel in top location in Arcachon with private parking and near to the station. Very good breakfast and variety of products. I would suggest to introduce some home fragrance products to further improve the well-being in the rooms.

Front desk ladies were all wonderful! Bed was comfortable and air conditioning was great. Room and bathroom old-fashioned and furnished with clunky “antiques” that aren’t really useful for a hotel. Breakfast room very small and coffee machine was always busy. You felt like you were in the way every time you went up to the buffet for a coffee! Sitting outside was better. Good parking. Central position, small and cosy, quiet, very nice people, enough space in the rooms, clean and parking available!

Apartment ideally located close to shops and the beach with the added bonus of free underground parking. On the other hand, very outrageous in terms of hygiene, especially in times of health crisis: sofas and blankets soaked in grease stains, sticky wrists, cupboards with food stains ... The manager tells us during the inventory of fixtures that she is. aware but does nothing, limited management knowing...

Very good reception on the other hand the insulation is very bad when you are on the street side. To sleep it is very unpleasant. 2 minutes from the city center beach.

The apartment offers Wi-Fi access at a relatively low speed. But it helps.

My advice is to get a beach view room. No other way. I didn't like how they only gave two towels. Bring your own towel so you can enjoy the pool and ocean. Great location. Definitely going back one day.

A 3-star hotel, built approximately 50-60 years ago. Nicely renovated, with the interior more impressive than the exterior. The rooms are small but comfortable. Located directly on the beach, about a 20-minute walk to the center of Arcachon. We haven’t tried breakfast.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was not a bad base in Archachon, an easy walk into town and to the ferry terminal. We opted and paid for the continental breakfast which was pretty basic, just coffee, juice and 2 pieces of bread (or 2 croissants). The hotel is starting to show its age but still has a level of charm.

It's architecturally very attractive because it's not a concrete block, and it's practically right on the sea. However, it's located a bit out of the way. The rooms are simple but comfortable and clean.

This is the 3rd year that I have come to the Orange Marine Hotel in Arcachon during the boat show. Hotel ideally located on the port, very welcoming staff, a magnificent patio with trees. I feel at home there. Very quiet place with bird alarm clock. I can't wait to come back Odete Gracia

I had a lovely off-season stay at this charming hotel. It has a quiet garden courtyard and is a short walk to restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

The welcome was warm from the two ladies who were at the reception, as well as the smiling and attentive staff, the breakfast is totally correct, the room was nicely decorated as well as the cleanliness of the bathroom, the best it was the air conditioning I had a very good night, the patio is just beautiful with the plants and the flowers, so no negative point given the previous comments, very well...

The other hotel reviews here are pretty accurate. We wanted something fairly last minute for a day on the coast and it worked for us because we really only needed a bed for the night, so we were probably only in the hotel a few hours. The arrival etc worked for us so no complaints there but….as per other reviews the hotel is VERY tired and in need to complete renovation. Rooms are really dated...

My spouse and I stayed 5 nights in June 2022 and enjoyed our stay thanks to Laurent @ the Front Desk. You arrive here as a guest & you leave as a friend. This is the reason why we will come back. The beach is only a few meters away as well as all the shops. A Leclerc Supermarché is also very near.

It is okay because of the location, but the room size is tiny and you can't walk all the way round the bed to get to wardrobe!!!! (See pic) There is a dishwasher in the room but a washing machine would be more useful!! And the lifts must be the slowest in the world 😏
