Its a great hotel but you have to wear these ridiculous black swimshorts which are more like a black thong. I just want to swim😭

We have really enjoyed our stay for 4 nights at this hotel, with lovely staff and great food at both restaurants. The pool facilities were great, and the beach is just nearby. We travelled with our small child and we felt this hotel was very calm and family friendly. Thank you and hopefully we will be back some time.

Definitely a quite getaway with a high-end feel. This is not a party hotel in any way, but gives you a feel of contemporary adult, and yes, (most) guests past the middle of their lives. 5 stars for the hotel and 3 for the restaurant. The restaurant serves delicious food but don't ask for anything outside the menu. Room service won't serve what's in the restaurant and the restaurant won't serve what's in room service. Also can't order food from the bar or even eat there In short the restaurant does everything to make their own lives easier while complicating service for their customers

Very good hotel. The rooms are excellent, spacious and pleasant. We had an executive room overlooking the pool. Very clean outdoor pool. The only drawback was that in the room we had (227), we had the right to smells, undoubtedly coming from the hotel kitchens. Quite unpleasant when you wake up and go to bed...

Polished from the outside, rather worn inside. Location super central. Wouldn’t rate it 4* in fact

Very friendly service, great location, close to the beach. Room architecture, including bathrooms a bit narrow, may not meet standards of a todays built 4 Star Hotel. Appartement type room gives chance to create budget meals in case going out for every meal into restaurant is not always wanted. Therefore a good place to stay for a family.

Very nice location, central, next to the market. Short way to the beach. Rooms are very modern and clean. WiFi in the entire Hotel. Nice terasse on the roof, unfortunately closed too early (at 8pm). Service is ok.

This hotel deserves higher than a 3* rating! We arrived earlier than expected and asked could we park our Cark whilst we went for a walk. The lovely receptionist informed us our rooms were ready so we could check in straight away - 3 hours early!!!! That was very much appreciated. The rooms were spotlessly clean, a great size. The name has now changed to Best Western - Arcachon Port. That confused me at first. I booked a last minute, quick trip to Arcachon because I was missing the beach. This place is such a great value, I found a low price and booked. Because of the price, I was nervous, but I had no need to be. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I think I was upgraded to a slightly larger room so size wasn’t an issue...

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and a generous breakfast selection. I highly recommend this hotel!

Allow not in town centre it is very close to the marina and the start of the board walk along the beach. Recently refurbish room was very clean and well decorated. Also had a small built in kitchen unit. Solarium on roof has great views over marina and the town. Great spot for a glass of wine and baguette.

3.5 The service was very good. They were really helpful. Or well all but one person who shouldn't really be working there. The breakfast is OK but the atmosphere down there is horrific. It is okay because of the location, but the room size is tiny and you can't walk all the way round the bed to get to wardrobe!!!! (See pic) There is a dishwasher in the room but a washing machine would be more useful!! And the lifts must be the slowest in the world 😏

Excellent all round IF YOUR CAR IS UNDER 1m80---- otherwise parking is a nightmare, and driving the town centre needs a good sense of humour Fabulous location right on the sea front. Very nice hotel excellently situated. Well equipped room with a balcony (shared) overlooking the sea. All the reception staff were efficient and friendly and spoke good English. The hotel has it's own underground car park (16 euro per day). It is not easy to find among the one way streets as you have to ignore a no entry sign. (This is permitted). Would recommend .

Generally excellent. Excellent room and staff. Excellent bathroom. Rooftop terrace with beautiful views. Minor criticism: tea, milk etc could have been replenished more generously but not a big issue. Location and parking excellent. Would certainly stay again.

Very friendly staff and beautiful, clean and well equipped room. Our only disappointment was that the sea view for which we had booked was mainly obscured by trees immediately in front of the hotel. I appreciate there is little the hotel can do about this, other than advertise it as sea front perhaps rather than sea view.

We spent 4 nights with the family between Christmas and New Years, and we felt right at home! Very nice decoration, comfortable rooms and beds, warm welcome from Stéphane and Marie and delicious breakfasts! We will gladly come back. A big thank-you ! Stephane Hautsch

Charming hotel with lovely local staff. Situated couple meters away from the seaside. Quiet room, Bed was very comfy, fan was enough to cool us down. Staff accomodated special requests for the breakfast. We will return to this hotel.

Thanks to the owners for a wonderful stay. No fake notes. Everything was perfect. A magical room from which you emerge in the morning to enjoy a rich and varied breakfast of homemade products. They thought of everything to make us happy. And yes, you can also dine in your room by creating your own menu. You're probably thinking about cardboard boxes, of course not. Nice enough hotel for the price. The room was better than we expected and the staff were all pleasant. 30 minute walk in to the main town but just a few minutes to a beach. Overall I would recommend it

We stayed 1 week in this hotel. Spacious room, very clean. Very good location, close to the beach (10mn walk) and the city center, while being in a quiet area. Very warm welcome and pleasant staff. Only downside for the breakfast served in your room, it lacks fruit.

Taken for 3 days in Arcachon, the hotel is pleasant and clean. The small parking lot behind the establishment is appreciable. The room (104 in our case) was clean, the bedding pleasant, the shower room (with separate WC) clean and well appointed. The balcony is quite large and pleasant too. Very friendly staff too, and breakfast is served in your room. Very good.

Brilliant location close to a fantastic beach a short distance from the centre of Arcachon. The hotel was perfect for our needs as a base for a 4 night visit to the Arcachon Bassin and Dune du Pilat. Our room at the front of the hotel on the second floor included a balcony and was large and airy with air-conditioning (not sure if all rooms have air-conditioning). The swimming pool is a great bonus...

Quite basic and dated. This was the odd hotel of our trip somehow. The rooms are really dated, small, a bit noisy in places. The staff was not particularly warm and just did their work, I didn’t feel welcomed. There are more stairs in this hotel than in all other places we went during our trip combined. The elevator didn’t seem to bring you to your floor but to a half floor only?

Rooms small and do with a face lift, but a very nice swimming pool area and separate sitting outdoor area. And 5minutes from centre and beach

Nice and available staff, copious breakfast and clean room. The only flaw could be the size of our room, pretty small compared to what was pictured on the photos (other rooms I guess) .

What a lovely hotel stay! For the price, you really can't do better in Arcachon for the quality, location, and staff. Comfortable rooms, small but with a charming terrace for wine outside, powerful showers, soft towels, good soundproofing and dark curtains for sleep. Plus the staff are lovely - friendly and helpful and just generally great people. I wouldn't stay anywhere else next time - thanks!

Rooms here are nice. Service was very good and helpful with recommendations for the local area. We had a treatment at the spa which is small, one massage room, but was very nice. The location is prefect for the main street and still to walk to the beach. Newly renovated rooms with a well thought-out concept! Very beautiful and unrestricted recommendable.

We only stayed here for one night, wished it was longer! The room was spacious and clean, I enjoyed the modern style of décor. The staff are all excellent and they fixed us a platter of cheese to go with a bottle of wine (excellent quality, fair price). Breakfast is 👌, I don't usually spend money on having breakfast at hotels but this is worth it. Mostly cold items but you do get to make your own...

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The decor is a little dated, but the location is great and the staff are friendly and welcoming which for me is the most important thing. Breakfast was enjoyable and it was good to have the option to eat on the terrace. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is located on the beach, in the heart of the city within walking distance from restaurants and bars. Staff was courteous and helpful (and very sweet to our 5 month old). We really enjoyed our stay and would book here again.

Apartment ideally located close to shops and the beach with the added bonus of free underground parking. On the other hand, very outrageous in terms of hygiene, especially in times of health crisis: sofas and blankets soaked in grease stains, sticky wrists, cupboards with food stains ... The manager tells us during the inventory of fixtures that she is. aware but does nothing, limited management knowing...

Very good reception on the other hand the insulation is very bad when you are on the street side. To sleep it is very unpleasant. 2 minutes from the city center beach.

Some points of improvement but a top stay 👍 the +: Very interesting location Spacious and well equipped accommodation. No noise on the courtyard side. Free parking. Electronic roller shutters. We were upgraded to a T3, it was very pleasant for our friends who joined us. 👎 the -: No air conditioning (but we knew it) The stoves and the sofa have lived well.

Good location, sparkling clean butique hotel with a few rooms only. Rooms are a bit small, but tastefully decorated. Beds are comfy, not too soft like in big hotels. Try the 3 course dinner - delicious and good value for the price. Definitely recommend the place!

We had a lovely one night stay at Hôtel L'Ostréi. The hotel is situated within an easy walk of Arcachon, it is beautifully decorated and clean. We also have a fantastic evening meal in the restaurant garden. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will be going back.

The woman who runs this place is absolutely lovely! The place is clean, with well executed decor, is in a great location, has excellent connection to Wifi and we will absolutely come back!

Wonderful hospitality from the two hardworking owners, the hotel is a hidden romantic gem within walking distance of a quieter beach perfect for picnics. The restaurant serves I think a Corsican menu, sit in the garden at the back with friendly locals with a fine selection of wines.
