Its a great hotel but you have to wear these ridiculous black swimshorts which are more like a black thong. I just want to swim😭

We have really enjoyed our stay for 4 nights at this hotel, with lovely staff and great food at both restaurants. The pool facilities were great, and the beach is just nearby. We travelled with our small child and we felt this hotel was very calm and family friendly. Thank you and hopefully we will be back some time.

Definitely a quite getaway with a high-end feel. This is not a party hotel in any way, but gives you a feel of contemporary adult, and yes, (most) guests past the middle of their lives. 5 stars for the hotel and 3 for the restaurant. The restaurant serves delicious food but don't ask for anything outside the menu. Room service won't serve what's in the restaurant and the restaurant won't serve what's in room service. Also can't order food from the bar or even eat there In short the restaurant does everything to make their own lives easier while complicating service for their customers

Very good hotel. The rooms are excellent, spacious and pleasant. We had an executive room overlooking the pool. Very clean outdoor pool. The only drawback was that in the room we had (227), we had the right to smells, undoubtedly coming from the hotel kitchens. Quite unpleasant when you wake up and go to bed...

This hotel deserves higher than a 3* rating! We arrived earlier than expected and asked could we park our Cark whilst we went for a walk. The lovely receptionist informed us our rooms were ready so we could check in straight away - 3 hours early!!!! That was very much appreciated. The rooms were spotlessly clean, a great size. One block from the port and short walk to fish market

The name has now changed to Best Western - Arcachon Port. That confused me at first. I booked a last minute, quick trip to Arcachon because I was missing the beach. This place is such a great value, I found a low price and booked. Because of the price, I was nervous, but I had no need to be. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I think I was upgraded to a slightly larger room so size wasn’t an issue...

Allow not in town centre it is very close to the marina and the start of the board walk along the beach. Recently refurbish room was very clean and well decorated. Also had a small built in kitchen unit. Solarium on roof has great views over marina and the town. Great spot for a glass of wine and baguette.

An ideal place to spend a few days and relax in front of the sea. Very well located with services around the establishment. We will return!!!

The hotel has a great location, right by the beach. There are very good restaurants nearby. The breakfast is delicious. The rooms are comfortable. There is underground parking. But, unfortunately, there is no way to charge an electric car.

On the day of our arrival, my husband fell off his bike and was taken to hospital. After his discharge we arrived exhausted at the hotel. The reception team were very concerned for his health and helped us greatly. They kindly allowed us a late checkout so my husband could rest. We are very grateful to them all

Short stop over stay. Friendly and efficient reception staff. Modern, nice rooms. Excellent location close to the beach and lots of restaurants. Not cheap, but fairly priced. Ample underground parking spaces, but only accessible with remote control that has to be picked up in reception previously.

The positives - nice staff, comfortable room with a lovely sea view, and great location for spending the day on the beach. The negatives - Nowhere are you told in advance that you need to reserve parking before arrival. Nothing on the website or while booking. This meant we were left driving around for over an hour during high season looking for parking. Also, our shower was broken. It didn't drain...

We didn’t stay at the hotel as we have our own accommodation booked. We were recommended by French friends and we had dinner there, great atmosphere, old fashion French style. The food was good, very good meat and appetisers.

Very surprised at this accommodation and would highly recommend it. Nice, comfortable and sizeable rooms with balconies that are great for BYO pre-dinner drinks. Bathroom is a little challenging without a proper stand-up shower, but other than that, comfortable and clean and enjoyable.

Best service, food, wine list, hôtel, room and team. The charming hotel is a jewel i can only highly recommend to everybody. Awesome cuisine level at the restaurant with passionnate service. We will be back.

Quiet unassuming retreat on the hill above Arcachon. Seeped in delicious pine smells, wonderful spa, pool in summer... log fires in winter. Total relaxation.

We stayed 1 week in this hotel. Spacious room, very clean. Very good location, close to the beach (10mn walk) and the city center, while being in a quiet area. Very warm welcome and pleasant staff. Only downside for the breakfast served in your room, it lacks fruit.

Taken for 3 days in Arcachon, the hotel is pleasant and clean. The small parking lot behind the establishment is appreciable. The room (104 in our case) was clean, the bedding pleasant, the shower room (with separate WC) clean and well appointed. The balcony is quite large and pleasant too. Very friendly staff too, and breakfast is served in your room. Very good.

Brilliant location close to a fantastic beach a short distance from the centre of Arcachon. The hotel was perfect for our needs as a base for a 4 night visit to the Arcachon Bassin and Dune du Pilat. Our room at the front of the hotel on the second floor included a balcony and was large and airy with air-conditioning (not sure if all rooms have air-conditioning). The swimming pool is a great bonus...

The hotel itself had good facilities but I felt our room was not 5 star. It was a suite but quite small and was meant to sleep 4 but balcony only had 2 basic chairs and no comfortable loungers, which I would have expected. The only window coverings were net curtains and I have never slept in a 5 star hotel without proper blackout curtains. However the staff were all good and helpful, especially Charlie...

Of course the hotel needs renovation but the view is so beautiful from the breakfast room and the meals made by a chef are just delicious. Access to the beaches from the hotel is very pleasant. The welcome is warm. After renovation of the rooms, the hotel would be at the top.

This is the 3rd year that I have come to the Orange Marine Hotel in Arcachon during the boat show. Hotel ideally located on the port, very welcoming staff, a magnificent patio with trees. I feel at home there. Very quiet place with bird alarm clock. I can't wait to come back Odete Gracia

I had a lovely off-season stay at this charming hotel. It has a quiet garden courtyard and is a short walk to restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

Very pleasant stay with a group of 30 people. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The meal at the restaurant was excellent, the same for breakfast. I recommend.

Clearly a very up market B&B - not quite sure I can call it a hotel as no restaurant and you served yourself breakfast and coffee which was very nice. It was very expensive at over 400 euros per night but it was August - our room which was very nice was described as garden view (we viewed bamboo plants and the air-conditioning units - I think that was room 18) so we where really disappointed at paying...

Amazing place to stay and visit Arcachon, Le Moulleau and the region. Quiet but walking distance from the beach and restaurants. The staff was extremely kind and professional. My wife and I had a great time. Thank you!

Just back from my holidays in France. I stayed in this comfortable and welcoming hotel with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. We loved our stay and I'd recommend this place to anyone around me!

It is okay because of the location, but the room size is tiny and you can't walk all the way round the bed to get to wardrobe!!!! (See pic) There is a dishwasher in the room but a washing machine would be more useful!! And the lifts must be the slowest in the world 😏

We stayed here for a week in August 2023. The people on the front desk are helpful and keen to help. The apartment rooms are of a good standard and the kitchens are well kitted out. Nice people running a good quality property just a short walk from the sea. Nice! The rooms are clean and bright and well appointed. The stairwells, however, could use some new carpet. And some doors slam shut with a bang. But that’s nitpicking.

It’s a nice place with good facilities and very central, and was good for the price at the time. The apartment is very practical. It needs a little maintenance in parts. Basic tea making facilities are available but bring your own teas (only earl grey provided)! We would return.

Quite basic and dated. This was the odd hotel of our trip somehow. The rooms are really dated, small, a bit noisy in places. The staff was not particularly warm and just did their work, I didn’t feel welcomed. There are more stairs in this hotel than in all other places we went during our trip combined. The elevator didn’t seem to bring you to your floor but to a half floor only?

Located in the downtown of Arcachon at 8 minutes from the Train station and 5 minutes from the beach. Clean rooms and lovely owners. I do reccomend this place and I hope I will return. Continental breasfast can be served at the room with not extra charge. Pet friendly. Air conditioning. The size of the room was pretry ok. You have a supermarket just around the corner open 7/7.

Very nice stay. Cozy and clean room, very friendly staff. And the location of the hotel is great. Also, it is possible to reserve parking a couple of blocks from the hotel, at the Indigo parking, very convenient.

Excellent all round IF YOUR CAR IS UNDER 1m80---- otherwise parking is a nightmare, and driving the town centre needs a good sense of humour Fabulous location right on the sea front. Lovely accommodation, great location, staff very friendly and efficient.

Very nice hotel excellently situated. Well equipped room with a balcony (shared) overlooking the sea. All the reception staff were efficient and friendly and spoke good English. The hotel has it's own underground car park (16 euro per day). It is not easy to find among the one way streets as you have to ignore a no entry sign. (This is permitted). Would recommend .

What a lovely hotel stay! For the price, you really can't do better in Arcachon for the quality, location, and staff. Comfortable rooms, small but with a charming terrace for wine outside, powerful showers, soft towels, good soundproofing and dark curtains for sleep. Plus the staff are lovely - friendly and helpful and just generally great people. I wouldn't stay anywhere else next time - thanks!

Rooms here are nice. Service was very good and helpful with recommendations for the local area. We had a treatment at the spa which is small, one massage room, but was very nice. The location is prefect for the main street and still to walk to the beach.
