This hotel deserves higher than a 3* rating!
We arrived earlier than expected and asked could we park our Cark whilst we went for a walk. The lovely receptionist informed us our rooms were ready so we could check in straight away - 3 hours early!!!! That was very much appreciated.
The rooms were spotlessly clean, a great size. Very comfortable beds, and the showers are simply great.
Breakfast was delicious and well worth paying for, I highly recommend you do that!
The roof terrace is great and worth going up there to relax.
Finally, the entire staff at this hotel were a very friendly team for sure, and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much for taking care of us, we will definitely return!

We had a ceremony at 9:00 a.m. in Arcachon. We come from the Ardennes department. We found this hotel quite by chance and we were not disappointed. We might go back.

The name has now changed to Best Western - Arcachon Port. That confused me at first.
I booked a last minute, quick trip to Arcachon because I was missing the beach. This place is such a great value, I found a low price and booked. Because of the price, I was nervous, but I had no need to be. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I think I was upgraded to a slightly larger room so size wasn’t an issue for me.
I was on the ground floor so a bit nervous about facing the parking lot, the curtains were a bit thin. But they have blackout blinds so I closed those and felt so much better.
Staff was all very friendly and they spoke English (I can speak some French but it was nice). The rooftop view is pretty.
The location - it’s about 7-10 minutes from the train station on foot, and the walk is pleasant. It’s in a very quiet residential area with beautiful houses.
I don’t mind walking, and found it easy to get to the beach - about 10 minutes or so, there’s a cute little boardwalk. Maybe 15 minutes or so to the city center, the pier, even more restaurants, etc.
I didn’t try the breakfast to comment on it.

Lovely location. Great view from our room and balcony. Ten minutes walk to the beach and approx 15/20 mins to train station and centre. Beautiful room, lots of space for me and my two children.
