Hotel Arles Plaza
Arles, 45 Avenue Carnot 🧭 Map
Located 10-15 minute walk from historic district. Parking lot at the hotel (which was essential for our needs). The staff was helpful and even helped us place calls to find our lost luggage. The rooms were SUPER clean and housekeeping came every day (which seems uncommon after COVID). Also, a really decent value for what you get. All in all, this hotel checked all the boxes for our family.
Rooms are nicely updated and wel appointed. The front desk staff were nice and accompanying with our school group. The hotel was quiet. As a group, we were not allowed to eat in the main dining room, we had a separate banquet room, which would have been ok, but the food offered to us was not the same as was served in the restaurant, and was truly awful. One night we were served cold spaghetti with...
Staff at the hotel was great and they wall were super helpful with a smile when you asked for something. I had three beds in my room and it was very spacious and large windows were great to get some light in during the day. One of the reasons I booked this was due to the secure parking and it was easy to get around the small city.
A really good hotel with friendly staff and a great breakfast but quite understaffed which compromises the experience a bit as anytime you need to reach reception or ask any of the staff for assistance it takes a long time. The one receptionist on duty seems to be required to be a jack of all trades providing all assistance required from receiving guests, sorting out issues in your room and attending...
the pool was wonderful and quiet. the room was clean and the staff were nice, great location for the town!
Everything is perfect. Absolutely recommended.

The street noise was obvious but I still slept very well and that is how I usually judge my hotel rooms. The room was fairly large and clean, but I think it was missing some more furniture, like an armchair. The age of the hotel was clearly noticeable in the bathroom, the silicone around the bathtub was discolored and partly missing and the tub could have been cleaner. It took me almost ten minutes...
Good location, decent breakfast. The room was ok it did have an odd smell in the hallway and was a bit tired looking, but served a purpose for a night.
The room are not like in the photos. Are much older and at least mine was much smaller. I paied 2 days for breakfast and only ate once because there was really nothing especial and not worth the price. The good part was really the location and the pool. By the check out they asked me for the full amount when I had payed already in advance and they were about to charge me again. Then I requested towels...
It's right behind the tour office, and the location is great. Not only the reception, but also the staff are friendly and the room is clean. This is a room that reminds me of Van Gogh's yellow color.
Hotel according to the category, good position and clean and remodeled rooms. The breakfast was good, good quality and plenty of variety. The facilities in general a bit old but the room was fine, which is the most important.
I really appreciated the biscuits and tea/coffee and kettle in our room after an exhausting drive, and four complimentary bottles of water. Kind touch. All the croissants had been scoffed and there was no sign of pancakes I heard about when we got down for breakfast at 9:30 but I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious fresh melon and you can boil your own eggs. There were rashers and scrambled eggs...

The hotel was great overall, good location, spacious. However, it is quite old, and there was one night where the whole hotel stopped water supply from 10pm onwards. It was a bit inconvenient.
The hotel is really nice. Inside the room, there are plenty of snacks and drink in the bar area and all of them are free. The place is clean and the staffs are really friendly. They provided Arles map and explained the recommended places to visit.
An old house with charm. Good location. Many restaurants nearby. Very close to the Colosseum. There is a spa. I didn't have time to experience it. It's a pity
Beautiful hotel in a great location. The room was small compared to x rooms we had booked on previous stays. The bed was a bit small for the size of the room. The value for money compared to the room is a bit high.
We loved our stay at Jules Cesar. The staff were incredibly friendly with us. The Pool facilities with bar/snacks was absolutely fantastic. The spa was beautiful. We are excited to stay there again.
Very well located hotel near the old center. Easy access by car, valet parking (optional) very practical. Comfortable room, welcoming and responsive staff. Great swimming pool for a little dip in the morning.

Great location- walkable to everything I wanted to see. Plenty of restaurants as soon as you walk out of the hotel. Staff was super helpful
Excellent location, easy walk to Amphitheater and nearby Roman Theatre Antique, restaurants, and train station.
We gave the hotel 3 stars as a balance between positives and negatives. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and helpful; the room was kept very clean; the bathroom was good and the shower excellent; the air conditioning struggled valiantly in the heatwave; the central location was helpful; and our room at the back of the hotel was very quiet; although there was no private parking, there was...
Very small rooms, VERY small bathrooms, good blackout blinds, fine airconditioning. No elevator. Too expensive restaurant.
Great location Very accomodating to our early arrival. Nice room and great shower. Only complaint we had was the scratching linens and awkward bed pillows, which effected our sleep. Also after returning to hotel at 10:30PM, we had to ring the bell for several minutes before someone let us in so we could return to our room. Great location, restaurant was very good also.
The room was lovely. The fabric colors were calm and lovely. There was a bathtub which was very comfortable.

The people who run this place are incredible and go above & beyond to ensure their guests are taken care of. The rooms are incredible.. huge, comfortable beds and very clean. They have a lovely garden and secure bike storage. The hotel is also right on the viarhona cycle path. The breakfast here was so declicious - yogurt, fresh fruits, cheese and lots of baked goods. It is also right next to the colosseum...
I was blown away by this hotel! My room was a great size with lovely decor, and the little private terrace with its own table and chairs was such a nice surprise. I slept really well thanks to the comfortable bed, lack of noise, and shutters keeping out the light. The best thing about the hotel is that it offers so much more than just the room. The spa was so peaceful and incredibly special with its...
What a delight this hotel is! Charming atmosphere, beautiful breakfast in the garden, cocktails on the roof overlooking the region in the evening, and exceptional and friendly service from the staff. Right in the heart of Arles, you can walk to everything, and if you have a car, take them up on the parking reservation they offer. The rooms were simple but clean and comfortable, and exactly what I am...
Arles Excellent location of this hotel, if you are staying in Arles. Very friendly and helpful staff. Spa is very nice to relax for an hour.
Hotel Spa Le Calendal in Arles offers a charming stay with nice rooms and excellent service. The spa facilities provide a relaxing retreat, and the rooftop bar is a highlight with its stunning views and delightful atmosphere and charming staff. The location is perfect for exploring the city. A wonderful choice for a pleasant and memorable visit to Arles
Hotel is centrally located. What really stood out was the wonderful customer service. Every hotel staff was so friendly and welcoming. They offered free ice water, which was greatly appreciated as it was close to 100F. Also they offered laundry service for 13 euro per bag. Highly recommend, A+++++++++

20mins walk from the restaurant / touristy area. A safe place to put your bikes if you need to Parking on site Nice Pool Restaurant on site offers good food. Overall good stay. :) Thanks
Good stay, breakfast on average, value for money. I like Ibis budget in general, of course you need to know the type of hotels are, basic and usually not centrally located.
The price is cheap and the room is big and nice. It is quite far from the train station, you need to take a bus, and there is still a short distance from the bus station to the hotel. This town has a hidden danger. The public transport was suspended on Sundays. We had to catch the train on Sunday. At first, we pushed our suitcases to a distant bus stop to catch a bus. We waited for a long time but...
Wonderful hosts and superb dining as well. The 2 chefs are lovely people, welcoming, and made some superb sea bream. Loved our stay here
Woah Very hard beds. Small outdated bathroom. Nothing to put luggage on exept floor. We did not have breakfast, but it shold be small and ok. Bathroom did not have light, but we changed it. Never Budget again!
The hotel is located in a really good place for the school trip. The rooms were not the best, AC really noisy, shower drain cap broken, and door locks not working properly (had multiple keys to one room), they refused to come up and check it out. The breakfast was nice and the staff were really helpful when they wanted to be. But it was fine to spend 4 nights in. Though the rooms don't look great the...

We have just left the establishment delighted with memories in our heads. Place with lots of spaces, mini golf, horses nearby and a very nice swimming pool (a little cold for the season). But special mention goes to the restaurant staff: an attentive...
We had a great time. The setting is very nice, the staff very friendly, helpful, accommodating and always with a smile. The room was well equipped and more than met our expectations. The meals were very varied, there was something for everyone. The heated pool was very nice but lacked a few shaded areas. The all inclusive formula is top! Thank you again to the whole team and to the people we met who...
The air conditioning in the bedroom was nice. On the other hand, we did not appreciate the cobwebs and the insects that were trapped there. We found the pool a bit cold and umbrellas for protection would have been welcome. The meals were plentiful, good and varied. The restaurant would benefit from extending its opening hours until 1:30 p.m.

VERY NICE OLD HOTEL, WELL MAINTAIN, EASY PARKING, AND PARKING IS PROTECTED BY A GATE WITH DIGITS. HOPE TO BE THERE SOON AGAIN
Hôtel was okay. Breakfast was expensive. Nothing in the area. We had to drive everywhere
Good in general Good in general, I am giving only 3 stars because I would expect more from a 4-star hotel, anyway the price of my stay was not expensive. The room I was given needed a bit of renovation (electric plugs etc.). I was there in winter, probably in summer with garden, pool etc. the hotel is much more enjoyable. Breakfast was good.
A beautiful little hideaway in walkable distance from the city center (although the 15 min walk along the main street is no highlight) Nice Pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast absolutely delicious. There were some little issues with the room, but they were fixed instantly and in a friendly way. Bicycle rent possible (we did not use it).
Very friendly laid back hotel Very convenient hotel located very close to Arles , only 5 minutes by car. Quite clean and very friendly.
We had a wonderful stay here for visiting Arles and a day trip out to the camargue. The hotel is a 10 min walk to the first gate into Arles and start of the Van Gogh walking tour. I liked the location, outside of Arles but not too far. It had a tennis court, bikes and pool...my favorite hobbies! The gardens are just wonderful- make sure you explore. The rooms are all individually furnished.
The property is paradise. I especially liked the way it was lit up at night. I like to walk at night. The pool was an absolute lifesaver. It was very hot while we were there. The staff went above and beyond consistently.
This place is at a tipping point, sitting down on its past glory. They need to put the price down or start refurbishing it especially the bathrooms. Please give love to the wonderful garden. Nota Bene: if you come, bring anti-mostiquo products!!
Very very beautiful and unique
It was rather like staying in a once grand Irish country house. It’s not 4-star anymore but eccentric and romantic, full of a decorator’s stock. The reduced staff is nice and helpful and the birds sing in the garden
Bohemian charm Really individual hotel, completely secure, extensive grounds and great pool. Big family room, very comfortable. Very close to Arles

The Place du Forum is the place to stay for the beauty and ease of access to central Arles. The rooms are comfortable. Thank you for this pleasurable experience.

Charming old building near the Amphitheatre (as you'd expect). Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room on ground floor. Only problem was lack of storage: a short hanging rail but no drawers or cupboards, which would have been awkward if we'd been staying for longer than two nights. Good breakfast with particularly good coffee.
The hotel was a great location, but rooms smelled like mildew, don’t know if that’s because the building is so old or what. The bed was just ok and there was hardly any storage for clothes etc. we stayed in room 3 so maybe other rooms were better, but we had friends staying in another room and they also didn’t have much storage either. Loved Arles, but would stay somewhere else next time.
Reduced room size but that is the way rooms in the old city are here and all Europe. We enjoyed our stay, hotel has a superb location with great staff
Very pleasant stay! The room was clean and quiet, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Hotel is set in a beautiful old building. A bit of a hike from the train station, but otherwise convenient. Staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful.
LIKE: the bathroom was clean and large. The room was roomy and bright. It had a safe. The air conditioning worked well and there was a heater in the bathroom. DISLIKED: it had two single beds instead of a double. The sounds from the street could be heard very clearly, especially when the hotel clerk stood under our window to smoke and speak loudly on his cell or to hold a lengthly conversation with...

This is a lovely small hotel. It is well situated, right across the bridge from the center of town. When I arrived, Jean-Pierre greeted me warmly. There is a beautiful outdoor area with a pool you can swim laps in. The room was very nice and there was a walk in shower. Jean-Pierre makes the breakfast and it is very good. I would stay here again.
The hotel is in need of a revamp. For the price we paid, the room, common areas, breakfast area etc were disappointing. The staff were very helpful though, and everything was clean. The beds were comfortable and the hotel location was very convenient. I suspect we had to pay so much because we accidentally chose a festival weekend to stay. However, the breakfast was very limited for the price charged
Hotel Mireille is a lovely old fashioned hotel on the other side of the bridge facing the old town centre. Rooms are small but hotel is very clean. The outdoor area is lovely and the swimming pool is wondetful. Jean Pierre is a lovely host, extremely friendly and always here to help.
Beautiful hotel on the other side (of the big branch - delta) of the Rhône river, 5 minutes by foot👣 from city center. Very sympatic/welcoming owner, Jean-Pierre, will tell you everything to do in the beautiful city of Arles. A must-stay🛏😴 in Arles! 👍 Top Notch services !!! 🤙
