Where to stay in Arles

The street noise was obvious but I still slept very well and that is how I usually judge my hotel rooms. The room was fairly large and clean, but I think it was missing some more furniture, like an armchair. The age of the hotel was clearly noticeable in the bathroom, the silicone around the bathtub was discolored and partly missing and the tub could have been cleaner. It took me almost ten minutes...

Good location, decent breakfast. The room was ok it did have an odd smell in the hallway and was a bit tired looking, but served a purpose for a night.

The room are not like in the photos. Are much older and at least mine was much smaller. I paied 2 days for breakfast and only ate once because there was really nothing especial and not worth the price. The good part was really the location and the pool. By the check out they asked me for the full amount when I had payed already in advance and they were about to charge me again. Then I requested towels...

It's right behind the tour office, and the location is great. Not only the reception, but also the staff are friendly and the room is clean. This is a room that reminds me of Van Gogh's yellow color.

Hotel according to the category, good position and clean and remodeled rooms. The breakfast was good, good quality and plenty of variety. The facilities in general a bit old but the room was fine, which is the most important.

I really appreciated the biscuits and tea/coffee and kettle in our room after an exhausting drive, and four complimentary bottles of water. Kind touch. All the croissants had been scoffed and there was no sign of pancakes I heard about when we got down for breakfast at 9:30 but I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious fresh melon and you can boil your own eggs. This place is at a tipping point, sitting down on its past glory. They need to put the price down or start refurbishing it especially the bathrooms. Please give love to the wonderful garden. Nota Bene: if you come, bring anti-mostiquo products!!

Mas de la Chapelle is full of charm and character with beautiful grounds to stroll around. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I loved the eclectic decor and the bedroom was clean, comfortable and spacious.

Wonderfully quant estate style hotel, just beyond the outskirts of Arles. This is not a Best Western or Hilton: it's so much more! A truly boutique plane to escape to, with extensive gardens (6 hectares, I was told!) and lovely landscaping. There is a large pool by the house but quite secluded, and a spa that I didn't use. Cannot recommend highly enough

Sometimes one feels that those modest but welcoming and peaceful family hotels, 2 or 3 stars, that you used to find all over provincial France have been wiped out by the chains. This was one of our more pleasant stays during our journey through the South of France. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Lovely location in central Arles.

It is such an amazing building and we would like to book our groups here but breakfast is a non starter. You can have an option of a croissant/pain au raison with jam, with a choice of apple sauce or fromage blanc but not both. What a wonderful find and a good value! With an ideal location for all there is to see in Arles, we chose very well. The staff was welcoming and efficient. The room was extremely comfortable and the whole hotel's decor was like a work of art. We were so happy we chose to have the savory breakfast as it was plentiful, delicious, and nicely served. We will stay here again when we return to Arles.

Great place right next to the Arena and Forum. Not expensive by 2024 standards. Nice people working there. A dignified and very French breakfast served on site for 15€ each, just do it. Quirky, but modern art on the walls by 2Fak (look him up). Room was nice, with a very modern bathroom. Need was good. Cleaners use a bit too much smelly product when cleaning, but hey, everyone has a different tolerance...

I stayed in this very convenient, clean, reasonably-priced, and cheerful hotel with a friend for two days while visiting Arles and Les Rencontres d'Arles. At first I didn't think it was so nice here, then I was in the rest of the city and suddenly it felt like paradise here.

Cozy hotel at the perfect location, train station, city centre, restaurants, grocery stores are all nearby. Clean room, and despite located right at the square with many people, I didn't hear anything in the room. Warm welcome at the reception.

Great value for money, rooms are clean, with AC, which was much appreciated given the hot temperatures. The location is perfect, and despite being in a square, there is no noise inside the rooms!

What a wonderful discovery Nord-Pinus was. A true Oasis of calm within an amazing Cultural Oasis called Arles! We will be back as soon as we can, in room 21 next time!

The hotel was great overall, good location, spacious. However, it is quite old, and there was one night where the whole hotel stopped water supply from 10pm onwards. It was a bit inconvenient.

The hotel is really nice. Inside the room, there are plenty of snacks and drink in the bar area and all of them are free. The place is clean and the staffs are really friendly. They provided Arles map and explained the recommended places to visit.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The room was small compared to x rooms we had booked on previous stays. The bed was a bit small for the size of the room. The value for money compared to the room is a bit high.

We loved our stay at Jules Cesar. The staff were incredibly friendly with us. The Pool facilities with bar/snacks was absolutely fantastic. The spa was beautiful. We are excited to stay there again.

The room I was given needed a bit of renovation (electric plugs etc.). I was there in winter, probably in summer with garden, pool etc. the hotel is much more enjoyable. Breakfast was good.

A beautiful little hideaway in walkable distance from the city center (although the 15 min walk along the main street is no highlight) Nice Pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant here was spot on. Gravlax for starter was fresh & lamb rib for main was easily one of the best lamb dishes I've had in a long time.

This is an adorable hotel with a restaurant attached. Rooms are small but you don't need a big room on vacation. The hostess was very nice and spoke English for us non French speaking tourists. Would definitely stay here again.

We had an awesome stay at the Maison volvere. The rooms were clean and had a very nice interior. Also the food (breakfast and lunch) was tremendous, I recommend the pulpo and as a dessert the Mousse au chocolat! But I really have to say that the service was the best. Everyone was so nice and welcoming! If you want to stay in Arles this is sure the best place to stay! Merci :) we will come back!

Very nice staff who tried all possible to accomodate us after booking.com made a misstake and all family rooms were taken by the time of check-in. This place was a very pleasant surprise after 4 weeks of traveling. The staff was very friendly and eager to please. Our room was spotless, with modern decor and bathroom.
