The staff at Marty Hotel Bordeaux are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about local attractions and events. Location was about a 20 minute walk to downtown city. Amenities was standard but the hotel does not provide toothbrush so remember to bring your own.

The room is not actually small, but the bed is relatively large, which makes the overall layout a bit cramped. Two suitcases cannot be opened at the same time... There are still some dead corners for hygiene... The breakfast is OK, my friend thinks there are not enough vegetables... But the attitude of the waiters is very good~

The room was nice, with all the facilities you need, plenty of hot water, clean, tidy and quiet. The hotel is not far from the tram station and there is a good restaurant behind the hotel.

There are many hotels around the hotel. The room is relatively large, clean and comfortable. The parking lot is large. There is a good French restaurant next to it. The pork knuckle and sausage are delicious.

It's a little less than a 10-minute walk from the nearest tram station, so it's a bit difficult to walk with a suitcase. The hotel building itself is old, but it seems to have been renovated in 2023, and the interior was very nice and clean. The front desk staff were also polite.

The room is narrow, but clean, modern plumbing, comfortable bed. Excellent location. One or two nights will be ideal for those who want to save money and live practically in the center of Bordeaux.

1. The location is right for a tourist - quite far from the train station - and very close to the center, there is a tram stop nearby, which can replace all transport in Bordeaux. I took a 72-hour transport card - it was advantageous, because with a suitcase to the hotel and from the hotel to the train station on foot is 25-30 minutes, and just around the city you can always go 1-2 stops without worrying...

Clean and “good enough” rooms. A bit noisy with the proximity of the tram / train station and many people in the area - could use a bit more of sound insulation. The breakfast was very good for us (no salty options though if you prefer that)!

However, there are not many shops or restaurants in front of the station, and it is not very safe at night, so it is better to use it for different purposes. The location is very convenient, just opposite the train station and the rail station. You can sit outside and there is a place to eat downstairs.

The hotel is located downtown Bordeaux in a pedestrian street. All places of interest are at a walking distance. Rooms are small and clean. The elevator is not super convenient.

The staff was amazing and made everything to make us feel comfortable we traveled with a toddler and in this hotel we felt like we were home. They arranged a beautiful wine tour and made restaurant reservations for us. Always received us with a smile. Breakfast could improve but overall an amazing and beautiful experience.

Located in a quiet residential area, this hotel is within easy walking distance of downtown -- or a quick tram ride away from anywhere else if you don't feel like walking. No frills but fine! The room was clean and functional. The staff refused to make up the second bed I'm the room though which was very strange. Even when I asked about it I was told to do it myself. Other than that it was fine.

In general it is a good place! But the only two issues: The morning I was leaving, the bathroom ran out of water. Fortunely it was my checkout day. The other one is regarding a gym that is next to the hotel. In the case of my bedroom (121), I could hear the gym music late at night and in the early morning.

Good value Great location to walk into Bordeaux Centre. Very clean, friendly staff and good value. The only piece of advice is the parking, you pay on exit, i spent ages trying to work the machine at the top of the lift which didnt accept my cards.

There is no elevator for this property. This was not an issue for us, and the gentleman who checked us in carried our bags up the stairs without being asked. The location is excellent for visiting the old part of the city.

The staff at Hotel de France were extremely kind and helpful. We lucked out with what was likely one of the largest rooms in the hotel, although we paid the standard rate. The hotel is exceptionally well located and the staff are wonderful. They have gone above and beyond in helping us. We had the breakfast each day which had a good variety of healthy food. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms exceptionally clean.

Decent hotel Hotel is in a great location, the only downfall was the strange layout of the bathroom, which required us to step up into a bathroom. I think it might have to do with some plumbing reconfiguration, but we had to be extremely mindful to not slip or fall down the stairs as the toilet was right on the edge. Location was great with lots of good hotels.

This hotel was a great choice for a stay in Bordeaux. Luca at the front desk was amazing!! He helped get reservations at local restaurants and was eager to please. The breakfast was well attended with great varieties of tea and coffee. The location was great as well as we were headed out on a river cruise and walked to our ship. Highly recommend staying here.

Hôtel Normandie was a great hotel! It offered comfortable accommodations with warm and helpful staff. The best part: its location. Not only is it across the street from a tram station/hub and the tourism office, it’s in the heart of the liveliest part of town. This is a great location and my room was large for an inner-city room. The shower layout wasn't ideal and the toilet was on a step which was a little weird. Otherwise the service was very good and the staff was accommodating when I arrived early for my room.

Address validated and retained for a future stay in Bordeaux. After a warm welcome, we appreciated the style of the hotel and the room. We were able to enjoy shopping, bars/restaurants and monuments during the day until night, all on foot while staying close to the hotel. See you soon

The appearance of this hotel is completely in the style of the 1950s and 1960s, but the interior is new and clean and comfortable. The most important thing is that the staff are really warm and welcoming. The staff who received me were very nice and everyone had a great time communicating with me.

Ignore the bad comments! I was pleasantly surprised considering the cheap price and after the bad comments on here. The room was perfectly acceptable and a comfortable sleep.
