La Maison Bord'eaux in Bordeaux

We had 3 wonderful evenings here at La Maison. The staff was so warm & welcoming here, and very helpful during our stay with great restaurant suggestions. Our room was comfortable, clean & efficiently laid out. Breakfast was outstanding w/ many delicious choices to start your day, coffee & croissants were just fantastic. The interior courtyard is a pleasant & relaxing place to sit w/ a glass of Bordeaux wine after sightseeing all day. We would return here as we felt this was a very nice spot & a good value during our travels. Merci, La Maison!

The hotel was excellent -the rooms were clean and quiet and the breakfast was excellent. All the staff were friendly and very helpful especially Isabella who checked me in and gave lots of good recommendations. The Bordeaux City Pass wes useful to get free access to museums and free travel on the extensive public transport network

The staff was amazing and made everything to make us feel comfortable we traveled with a toddler and in this hotel we felt like we were home. They arranged a beautiful wine tour and made restaurant reservations for us. Always received us with a smile. Breakfast could improve but overall an amazing and beautiful experience.

This hotel is wonderful. We were wonderfully greeted by Isabelle and checked in promptly. We were given recommendations for local eateries and a map with the offer to secure a reservation if required. Although early, our room was ready and she escorted us to our room and talked us through the facilities. The room was large, exceptionally clean and well equipped. The Aircon managed the 38C heatwave superbly. We were in room 1 on the ground floor facing the street. It was very quiet. The courtyard is sublime, the perfect place to relax with a drink. The prices for beer and wine were very reasonable. Breakfast was excellent with my husband delighted to be offered an unexpected bacon and eggs All of the staff make you feel like nothing is too much trouble. Good location, walkable to Bordeaux centre. The nearby park is beautiful. Carrefour a few minutes away. Can't recommend highly enough.

Located in a quiet residential area, this hotel is within easy walking distance of downtown -- or a quick tram ride away from anywhere else if you don't feel like walking. There are also some very nice shops and restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. The hotel lobby and outside patio area are elegant, our room was large with a beautiful view out over the city, and we didn't bother with the breakfast although it looked perfectly nice. Highly recommend.

The hotel is located in a quiet residential neighborhood which makes you feel like a local, close to shops, restaurants, and bakeries since Rue Fondaudege is one street over. The beautiful Jardin Public is a couple blocks aways and walking to downtown and the Chartrons area is so easy. I visited in February and walked everywhere since it felt central to everything I wanted to do (which includes the riverfront). My room was nice and clean, I think it’s newly renovated because all the fixtures looked new, and bed was so comfortable. I travelled solo and the area where the hotel is in felt so safe, and there was always someone at the front desk if I ever needed anything.

Everything was excellent, from the staff to the facilities, rooms, and bathrooms. It's also worth noting that they use Nuxe products.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Had a tremendous time staying at La Maison Bordeaux. From the first moment that we were met at reception to the our departure, I cannot fault the staff and their dedication. The bed was comfortable, the shower pressure was excellent, the TV has a smart option so that you may connect to your own personal streaming apps, the air-con is a welcome feature (not all that common in France) and the room size was perfect. My only gripe was that the WC was literally that - a toilet in a tiny closet and then you had to cross the room to the shower area where the sink was located to wash your hands. An odd design choice. The main city centre is accessible by tram - there are two stops equidistant on Rue Fondaudége at the corner.

Great location and very nice staff
We really liked the location. Plenty of access (walking and tram) to the main areas without the higher price of hotels nearer to those areas. The staff is wonderful!
