The hotel is fine for the budget. There are not many dining options close to the hotel,, best options seemed to be around the cathedral, about 1km away and uphill. Room I had was plus room, comfortable enough with space to work. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

Very much enjoyed our stay. Hotel centrally located and within walking distance to shops (closed around 4pm) bars and restaurants. 10 min walk to the station and a 60min train ride (£95 for 5 people return) to Paris Montparnasse. Rooms a little small but clean and air conditioned. Spacious reception area, free football table and TV in lobby and rooms. Service very good, staff very friendly and English speaking. Underground car park a little tight if you have a large family car and you have to squeeze in between concrete walls £10 for 24h.

Acceptably central but not on the doorstep of the cathedral this modest hotel has a spacious reception area. Decor upstairs is ugly and dated, rooms are small - not recommended for two friends sharing - bathrooms also small. No carpet, just vinyl flooring in the bedroom adds to the sense of below-par hotel. Breakfast is below average, no fresh fruit amongst other issues. I would not go back.

Chartres, home to a beautiful and historic Cathédrale, and the hotel is so conveniently placed to visit. Underground parking is also available. The room was pleasant, plentiful hot water and comfortable bed. An all-round enjoyable experience.

We have used this hotel regularly, for a number of years, for an overnight stay on our way to and back from our French property, in Southern France.
Whilst it is under new management and the rooms have been redecorated it’s essentially it’s the same place as before. We have had a fridge in two of our rooms this summer, handy for transporting cheese!
Secure parking is a big bonus, as is the location; a short walk from the beautiful medieval centre and stunning Cathedral.
Good value for money, clean rooms, good shower and comfortable beds.
Sometimes we have even been lucky enough to have a view of the cathedral from our room.

This hotel was just what we needed. We spent the night here in Chartres to enjoy the cathedral in the morning before driving to Tours. The beds were comfy and the staff were nice. We didn’t run into many other guests, and enjoyed a beer in the lobby before bed. There was some loud motorcycle traffic that we heard because we left a window open, but our other room away from the street was quiet. The facilities were clean and the showers were hot.

It was only a night but well it went well. It was the perfect location for me because of work. This hotel was recommanded by the organiser of the exhibition (Congrès Parfums et Cosmétiques). Easy to park without using the car park of the hotel. I can say, that there is a high chance that next year, I could come back to the same hotel again ;-)

Excellent location, loved the fact they had secure parking. Walking around Chartres from the hotel was easy and delightful. Evening meal in the hotel was good quality and excellent value.
