What a really wonderful hotel to stay! Great atmosphere , restaurant, pool. If you are travelling with children, it is perfect. Very good acces for wheelchairs ! Fantastic for your dogs, large or small

Our room was a bit dated but air con worked and we had clean bedding and a couple of towels. We found some items from previous guests in the room so felt it hadn't had a thorough clean

There were also yoghurts, some fruit, salad and cheeses. Pool area looked clean and a decent sized pool, although we didn't use it on this visit

Wonderful experience for a work trip. Great location, large rooms, well equipped, comfy beds, LARGE TVs in the room, GREAT staff, lots of facilities, continental breakfast, large terrace area, lots of parking

Really nice drop off - nice decor, lovely staff, good breakfast - near a motorway but very quiet and secure- nice play area for the kids. And met the Australian Paralympic team (swimming)

My husband and I visited accompanied by our puppy. We were very happy with our stay. The car park is secure and only a short distance from the hotel. The room was very large and comfortable

We ate in La Cours Brasserie and enjoyed an excellent meal with very good and friendly service. Breakfast was extra but gave us a fantastic choice it was hard to choose. We highly recommend Le Grand Monarque Hotel

The decor was lovely and our puppy was spoilt with a plush bed too. We dined in both restaurants and Luna was allowed in both. The food was sublime and service was impeccable

Room was not available on arrival at 4pm Room was alot smaller than our previous visit. Initially the room was cold and the hot water was temperamental. I used the gym, there were no towels available.

The buffet breakfast was extremely good! High quality teabags; a good selection of fresh fruit (difficult to find in France); a good selection of breads and home made cake; boiled eggs; cheeses; hams and salamis

The hotel was extremely clean, very cosy and thankfully well-heated! The room was small but that was to be expected as we took the smallest and cheapest room. For one night it didn't matter

Small room, but okay for one night. Room clean but tiles around the bath very mouldy. Shopping centre and choice of restaurants virtually on site.

A little basic, and restaurant too cafe like in style to be 5 Starr BUT no complaints at all about the price, staff, food or tidiness. Was a good place to make an overnight stop during the drive to Spain.

If you are on a long journey and need a night over before the next leg of your trip- this is perfect hotel. Great beds especially after driving long hours, and super powerful shower! Nice staff at the reception desk.

We stayed here for 3 nights because our car broke down. They provided us with excellent service. Sir Philippe, the head of front desk, was very helpful and accommodating. He even drove my husband to a nearby supermarket

A couple of minor negatives but a great stay overa Overnight stay en-route. Room immaculate with brilliant bathroom and powerful shower.Tesla EV chargers in car park. AC had failed but room not uncomforably warm

We’ve visited the Kyriad many times on our way through France and always find the rooms to be clean and comfortable, but our air conditioning unit did not seem to work, so we were too hot during the night

Stayed for 1 night when we were travelling through France. We chose this hotel as we have stayed before and they are dog friendly too

Ok for an overnight on our trip South at the weekend The stopover returning North on a weekday, didn't feel quite so happy with the fellow guests :( Would certainly use again, but only at the weekend

Friendly service and nicely furnished. The comfortable and large patio in front makes for a great entrance. Our room was really nice, maybe a little small and the shower was small but we had prepaid on a special rate

There are variations on the rooms, I am sure. The restaurant exceeded our expectations and it was great to eat right at the hotel after a long day of touring around

A closed garage is available nearby, the parking cannot be prebooked but there was a reasonable number of spaces. The staff member at the desk spoke good English and was very helpful

The restaurant was excellent, with a good selection of well priced food and wine. We would certainly stay and eat there again if in Chartres

The hotel is well situated close to the Cathedral, the room was clean and comfortable, but on the small side, and with no air conditioning

The only thing that could have been better was if she had put a winning lottery ticket under my pillow. Stop looking and just book here. Note: good parking is at Parking Q-Park Chartres Coeur de Ville (5 min walk)

Carole is charming, speaks good English. She went out of her way to make us comfortable- went with me to park the car, called around, several times, for restaurant reservations. Very nice room, excellent bed

Book here if you're looking to stay in the center of Chartres. Carole is extremely welcoming and really provides a great breakfast. The 2 rooms we booked were excellent and had a lot of character

Carole is an absolute delight! Joyous and very accommodating. The Inn is beautifully appointments with creative expression around every corner and is totally updated

So wonderful to have a modern shower! You will not be disappointed with this inn and in addition it's location to the center of town!

The Cathedral underground parking is a very short walk away to stash the car. A parking pass is provided too. The room at the top is my favorite, angel room. Though you must climb the winding staircase to the 3rd floor

Fabulous position, wonderfully old building and quirky decor, a really comfortable room complete with sitting area overlooking Chartres Cathedral. We received a warm welcome and breakfast this morning was delicious

The convenience of being next to the Cathedral is awesome. Maneuvering a car to unload is tricky but the hotel sent a map prior to my arrival with instructions of how to drive up to the door to unload

I love looking up at the whitewashed beams. English was not spoken well but the staff is very friendly. They lock up at night and give you the skeleton key to the upper door on the Cathedral side

Delicious food! I love those one of a kind places with such stunning views, tight in front of the cathedral! Red wine - amazing! Salad delicious! My hubby over the moon with his lamb leg )

The restaurant was closed (Sept) but we had planned on eating elsewhere already. Definitely spend the night in Chartes to see the light show and this is a great place to stay

There were coffee/tea making facilities and bottled water in the fridge in a living area separate from the bedroom. The B&B is only 15 minutes from the centre of Chartres and we had a splendid meal at Le Café Bleu

We stopped over for just one night while traveling but wanted to have a wander around the old town of Chartres. The location is ideal and a short walk into town. The accomodation is spacious and very clean

When we tried to book a table on the night the booking site said they were full so we rang the café direct and were found a place. An added bonus was the Son et Lumiere that we caught at the cathedral

As a couple, we stayed 3 weeks in this very quiet place, although inside the city. The landlady is very friendly and provided us with everything we needed. The bedding is very comfortable

We stayed in Suite Arthur on our last night of a 10 day trip around France and it was an excellent choice. Madam was charming and helpful and the rooms were spotless

Second stop @ campanile hôtel now near Chartres, very warm welcome from the receptionist, very accommodating as I can't walk up stairs, gave me a ground floor room. I actually like this chain of accommodation

Everything was fine. Could have had more staff, 2 young men were very busy trying to book our car group in and they all arrived at the same time. There weren't enough beer glasses. Food was very good.

This one is the best Campanile hotel we’ve stayed in. Superb price. Great location. Clean. Will come back for sure. Especially when you head into Paris the next day.

It’s right across from the train station, a description that doesn’t usually shout, “Great location!”, but Chartres is a small, clean, orderly city, so being so close doesn’t have the same dodgy atmosphere you would ordinarily expect

The only thing I would recommend is to explore parking options as their hotel's parking has a very narrow passages - if you have a 4x4 or anything a little larger like a volvo, wouldn't recommend trying to get in and/or out of it

I stayed there a couple of nights in December 2023. The hotel has an beautiful facade and is right across from the train station, 10-15 minutes from the cathedral and enjoyable city center shopping and vibe

Found this hotel for luggage storage online 6 E per bag. Outstanding hotels just a few steps from the train stationed very polite service. We also enjoyed a cup of coffee and an orange juice

It just means you don’t have to drag your bags very far, and then it’s an easy walk to the cathedral and the rest of town

The staff is very pleasant, like everyone else I encountered in town during a two day visit
