Where to stay in Chartres

Great hotel, lovely staff and convenient location. Annoyingly it looks like the hotel has parking when you book but it doesn't (one of the reasons I chose it). A nearby car park that is over 20 euros for the night so factor that in. Breakfast is great.

Provides what one would expect, clean, well maintained and quiet. Nicely situated to the centre and Cathedral.

Hotel does not have restaurant but there are many good restaurants nearby. Rooms are comfortable location is excellent in the center of city close to all attractions Hotel has no parking but there is public parking nearby. Very good hospitality

We had a wonderful stay here! Location, staff, room were all so convenient & comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty too! We would stay here again if in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The staff are really friendly and the rooms reasonable. The breakfast was great, they even do small gluten free bread products that they cook on request and come out hot and really delicious. The only bummer is the lack of elevator.

Overnight stay Overall everything was good, nice large bedroom and bathroom, downside was the toilet seat was loose and not fixed properly consequently if you weren't careful it could have been easy to fall off, why aren't these things repaired before people go in as the cleaners are obviously aware of this.

This overnight stay was a stop over from the south of france up to Calais, very easy to find and was a comfortable stopover to break our journey . Meal was good in the restaurant in the evening.

Very nice place to stay, room nice but as usual Aircon not working only blowing hot air.The units should be serviced and made to work as it can get very hot in the rooms and you dare not open the window as mosquitos are in the room immediately. The restaurant was closed in the evening with no reasons given.

A lovely hotel, great service. Staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and at home. Fantastic breakfast at a good price, well worth it. The only thing I would recommend is to explore parking options as their hotel's parking has a very narrow passages - if you have a 4x4 or anything a little larger like a volvo, wouldn't recommend trying to get in and/or out of it.

Found this hotel for luggage storage online 6 E per bag. Outstanding hotels just a few steps from the train stationed very polite service. We also enjoyed a cup of coffee and an orange juice. I recommend the hotel and their luggage storage service.

It’s right across from the train station, a description that doesn’t usually shout, “Great location!”, but Chartres is a small, clean, orderly city, so being so close doesn’t have the same dodgy atmosphere you would ordinarily expect. It was great to be upgraded to junior suite and a lovely surprise after a long drive. Room was very clean and spacious.

If you are on a long journey and need a night over before the next leg of your trip- this is perfect hotel. Great beds especially after driving long hours, and super powerful shower! Nice staff at the reception desk.

The hotel dining room is being completely refurbished at the moment so only breakfast is being served, in a meeting room. The noise is unbearable between 9am and 6pm, even on the top floor.

Lovely clean facilities the only thing that let us down was the shower pressure

Overall, everything went well and we enjoyed our two-night stay. The room was spacious enough for our family, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. The only minor issue was an unpleasant smell in the room, which was a bit bothersome.

A brilliant place to stay if you want to visit the cathedral and the old gown .Only a few minutes walk to the cathedral from the hotel .Lovely. staff and good breakfast, rooms are basic but have good beds ,linen and walk in shower rooms. For the price it is brilliant and also has free car parking .

For over 25 years, I keep coming back! Spotless, great beds, linens, best location ever and SO QUIET! Its simple character is clearly stated and reflected in the price. Great petit déjeuner. A wonderful place so full of character and interest. Location is perfect, right by the Cathedral with restaurants nearby. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Will definitely go again.

The best budget hotel I've ever stayed in. Beautiful room and amazing breakfast with bacon and scrambled egg plus usual Continental eats. Spotless bathroom with big walk in shower. Very secure locked car park. Lovely staff. Newly refurbished I believe. Chartres Cathedral is phenomenal and the market nearby has food to die for.

Nice simple hotel near the highway, very convenient for a overnight stay if you travel to or from airport. I arrived after the reception closure and leave before it was open, access was automated with a code, free parking. Clean room with comfortable bed. The price is correct and give good value to the price. I was pleasantly surprised from this 2star hotel.

I have stayed in many B&B hotel in the last 20 years and this is the best so far. Very friendly welcome and although there are no restaurants nearby the host provides excellent value evening meals and a great breakfast. Apartment well located but dishes not very clean. Having to return to the hotel to drop off the keys on departure is not practical, especially when the station is under construction.

The apartment itself is great. Spacious, well organized two bathrooms. Well located too. BUT, no light on the stairs or the hallway, risk of falling, especially with suitcase and children, and non-existent WIFI.
