Very basic room (goodness knows how basic the Ibis Budget is , (this occupies the first 3 floors of the same building, - straw mattresses perhaps?) On the plus side it’s just a gentle 15 minute walk to the centre ville and restaurants The parking is under the building with lifts to reception and rooms (7euros50) The staff are friendly and helpful

We found the room small but comfortable with nice beds and bathroom was good. The wifi and air conditioning worked well and keeping us cool is important. The breakfast was great with lots of options to choose from and pently of food available and restocked when low.

Pleasant stay, but would only let me book 2 rooms for 3 people even though there was the option to book a double and a sofa bed if booking for 2 people.

Very easy to find and park. The rooms are ridiculously small compared to other Ibis hotels we have stayed in. No room to get into one of the beds, had to climb in from the bottom. Luckily I am a reasonably mobile 69 yr old. No room to layout suitcases. I suppose it would be ok for a overnight stop but we are staying for 3 nights.

This is a very good Ibis, close to the centre of Dijon and with excellent transport links. It has a nice, secure and spacious underground car park with a lift up to reception and a tram station (Auditorium) about 30m away. Rooms are pleasant with good air conditioning and very comfortable beds. The bathroom is an OK size but it’s easy not to close the shower door correctly and hence get the bathroom floor wet. Towels are a little bit thin and a little bit small but that seems to be the Ibis standard. The shower was nice with good pressure and hot water. The breakfast is good quality, Ibis style fare, and the breakfast room is a pleasant place to be, just behind reception. The coffee lacked punch but was greatly improved with an extra shot of espresso. Dijon itself is an absolutely delightful place to visit. The Place de Republique is an easy ten minute walk or a short tram ride. Dogs are not allowed on trams. All in all, I can highly recommend this hotel. One thing that did stand out was that the staff don’t seem very happy but they are polite and efficient.

Very shabby hotel out of the old centre of town, would not recommend. There are plenty of lovely options in or near to the old town, including Mama Shelter for Accor members.

First time staying here & it was a very pleasant stay. Staff were friendly and obliging. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was tasty too. Thanks for the hospitality and will definitely recommend to all & will be visiting again soon!

Convenient and comfortable with secure parking
An easy walk into the centre with secure underground parking and a good breakfast buffet (extra).

We stayed here for one night on the way down to the Alps. Parking in the underground car park is ok, the spaces are tight so be careful. The service at the desk was pleasant but rushed as they were busy and we had a small wait. Being a Accor member, I was given the free drink, without having to ask. The room was very small, and very dated. The whole hotel feels very old and worn out. Not sure I would stay here again.

This hotel is absolutely crazy. The beds are connected to each leg with only a few nails, which makes a super unstable structure in total. In one of my friend's rooms, his bed just collapsed under his own (light!) weight for no apparent reason. Now the hotel is (impolitely!) asking for a reimbursement, which is just unheard of! This is the only hotel in the entirety of France, where unstable beds are the guest's fault. As I said, absolutely crazy.

But that's not the only thing that this hotel is doing wrong. The breakfast is just not well organized or generally good in any way. Food is missing and is not replenished even when you come early. Moreover, I suppose these guys put their pancakes in the fridge before serving. Worst pancakes ever. That's just not how you do breakfast.

Nevertheless, even everything above isn't enough for this hotel, there's more: A room in which somebody from my group slept had a leaky roof with water dripping down. This destroyed the electronics in the room, setting them back into the 18th century. Do I even have to say more?

Lastly, there's yet another thing, that's just unacceptable. The cards used to unlock the rooms stop working frequently (I'm talking 20 minutes in some cases), making you as a guest run up and down this hotel like a madman with an extremely slow elevator. You go down to the lobby, get your card reactivated, and have to hope(!) that the card then works. Several times it didn't even work on the first try of reactivation. I had to do this round about seven times and I was lucky! One of my other friends' rooms was impossible even for the employees to open, forcing them to give him another room for the night. How can this happen?

Definitely not recommended for anybody.
