AC Hotel by Marriott Ambassadeur Antibes - Juan Les Pins

Perfect location, friendly open and clean place. Not dated. The 2 pools are awesome one is open 24 hours. Breakfast was so good it was our favourite since our 10th day in France. The only boy thing negative was nothing!

Our two-week stay at the AC Hotel Ambassadeur Antibes – Juan-les-Pins by Marriott was very enjoyable. This hotel served as an ideal base to explore the stunning French Riviera, including Cannes, Nice, Monaco, Eze, Saint-Tropez, and more. The hotel staff was kind and helpful, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay.

We appreciated the hotel’s outdoor and indoor swimming pools, room service, and relaxing sauna. The property was well-maintained, and our room met Marriott standards, though it could benefit from some updates. We enjoyed a balcony with pleasant views, and the on-site restaurant, Au Comptoir des Sables, was a convenient option that we took advantage of during our stay.

The location was also a highlight – we frequently walked to the nearby Antibes train station, which provided easy access to cities like Nice. A day trip to Ventimiglia, Italy, by train was a memorable addition to our travels.

The surrounding area had everything we needed, with nearby restaurants, bakeries, and a grocery store offering a taste of the Riviera. Walking to the beach was about a 15 to 20 minute walk.

We recommend this hotel, though we’d likely choose the AC Hotel Nice location for a future visit to the French Riviera because we did add more commuting by staying in Antibes vs Nice. One of the main reasons we chose AC Ambassador Antibes was the significant savings compared to staying in AC Hotels Nice. These savings allowed us to extend our stay and experience more of the Riviera. Overall, while we may have given up a bit on location in Antibes compared to Nice, we gained a more immersive experience in this beautiful region. Our trip was truly memorable

We were slightly nervous over the hotel but we have been delighted with the hotel, the rooms are not luxury but very comfortable although no English speaking TV easily found, and are spacious, clean and well designed.
Housekeeping is not great, we have 2 rooms with a private corridor and on several occasions we have returned and doors have been closed and the room cleaned but not restocked, it hasn't affected our stay but it is obviously not to standard.
The breakfast is good but not great but acceptable.
The pool clean, well maintained and secure, pool service if there is any is not attentive.
The reception staff are excellent and extremely helpful friendly and provide a great front of house experience.
Location is second to none.
We were not sure on the hotel but will definitely be back!
The criticisms I have read online are not on point this is a good hotel in a great location.

I’m struggling with a review of this hotel because there is nothing really bad with it, it’s just a bit…beige.
Initial greeting at the front desk was great, but I suspect it helps if you speak French like I do.
The common areas of the hotel have recently been spruced up, and probably our bedroom too, although whoever chose the cheapest, tackiest linoleum flooring in the whole of France needs an eye test.
Breakfast was fine and there’s the chance to sit outside.
The pool is a bonus and at least during our stay there seemed to be enough sun beds to go round.
The onsite parking is currently not available so you have to park opposite under the Palais de Congres which is €34 a day.
It’s a 5 minute or so walk to the more lively area of town with cafes and shops.
All in all there is nothing wrong with this hotel, it just all seems a bit tired even though it’s obviously been given a makeover recently.
If I knew friends or family were coming to this area would I recommend this hotel to them? Got to be honest, probably not, but that’s also because of Juan les Pins rather than the hotel itself.

Friendly reception. Wonderful indoor and outdoor pools. Enjoyed the breakfasts and lunches. Fabulous atrium and open lift, although watch out on higher floors if you have vertigo!

Wonderful service, staff, location, rooms! Everything was so clean and perfect that I couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. If you are looking for somewhere to go, please come here!

Very nice hotel. The welcome is excellent. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There are two swimming pools, one indoor open 24/7 and one outdoor. 10 minutes from the beach. Hotel to recommend.
