The room is quite big, but the surrounding area is fenced off due to municipal construction. It took me a long time to find the entrance.

Staff at reception were very helpful. The bedroom was as expected in a Mercure and the bathroom of a reasonable size. Pillows were however too thin and it was rather hot at night with heavier duvets still in use despite the Spring weather. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, where staff were again very helpful. The bread rolls at breakfast were disappointing; surely a good baguette should be available...

Sign to locked car park is on hotel forecourt, not visible from side road. Five minutes walk from historic centre. Quiet.

A good hotel, everything in order from the reception to the parking and the breakfast. The bar/restaurant is OK, not too pricy and I would consider going here again if I am on the road. It's a nice, quiet corner of Metz, just a short distance from the centre.

Good stopoff on a long journey. This business hotel is a bit dated but surprisingly good under the surface. Welcoming helpful professional staff. Dinner was excellent. Breakfast very good. Nice big room but bathroom is a bit dark.

Strong A/C. Comfortable bed. The room is spacious. We stayed here a few times because it's close to my daughter's school. The front desk lady manager and Wyatt were very helpful. The dinner at restaurant was delicious. The dessert was the most delicious one during our two months stay in France.

Very pleasant, efficient and attentive staff. Impeccable cleanliness and comfort of the room, perfect bedding. We booked three rooms and were very satisfied. The price was only over 600 RMB, but the room was very large, clean and tidy. Two bottles of water were given as well as breakfast, but I didn't eat it, so I don't know how it was!

The hotel looks quite new and therefore was clean and modern inside. the staff were very friendly and chatty. On arrival, we initially drove past it as it’s on an industrial estate and the lighting in the area is poor. The Best Western sign could be bigger and illuminated to give better visibility at the car park entrance. But other than that, it’s a great hotel.

Room was tidy but had a musty smell and was tired looking. The breakfast was distinctly average and the parking not the best. However the location was ok and near the town centre.

Ibis is very close to the train station so easily accessible. Friendly staff, English speakers can be comfortable they will be understood.

I stayed one night in this hotel well decorated and comfortable. But the room acoustic is two slim. You can here the entire life of your neighbor. The boulevard outside is full of traffic at night and you may suffer the noise from emergency vehicles and drifting cars.

We booked for a double roome with 2 beds, it is a very small room (yes, I knew this in advance) but since we only stayed for 1 night only. that was fine. If we have two big suitcases and we need to unfold both, we need to find our own arrangements. Anyhow, in general, the breakfast service was good! The reception desk was very kind and helpful. For business trips, the hotel is very conveniently located, close to the city of Metz, and very convenient for travel. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and has good service, which is worth recommending.

Location is good. Staff is friendly. Rooms are small but clean and decent but I wouldn't describe it as comfortable. Pillows are polyester and the mattress is pretty hard. Breakfast was not good. The coffee was bad and the machine ran out of milk and I think coffee beans as well as it was only brown hot water. There were not enough staff for the amount of people during breakfast and they kept running...

I have stayed at this hotel several times and it is always clean, comfortable and well priced. The breakfast is also very good. The hotel is very well located in the centre of Metz, five minutes walk from the Cathedral and lots of good restaurants.

Perfect location; only 5 minutes walk to city centre of Metz. The rooms were clean. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was very luxurious. The only thing is that the rooms were a bit outdated, but that was not a problem, and especially not for this price!

Good hotel, clean and well located. The rooms are well equipped, top bedding, large TV, beautiful bathroom, the breakfast is plentiful and good, a little extra for the friendliness of the staff. Small minus, it is difficult to park around the hotel, good hotel, I will come back.

Perfect location, friendly service and good people. Location is the key, very close to city center and good selection at breakfast! Cons: Rooms and bathrooms are a bit small.

The hotel is ideal for exploring the city, with everything within walking distance or a free shuttle bus to the city center. The hotel staff is very professional and friendly; we received excellent advice on sightseeing, etc. A wonderful discovery of Metz and a warm welcome!

Nicely located in the city center. The team of the hotel is very friendly. Hotel would need a bit of an updated as the room isn’t nicely layout. Room relatively small. But in general nice experience.

The location is excellent, right in the city center. Acces to the hotel by car on a Saturday afternoon is virtual impossible.  The invoice for our stay was overly complicaties

Central location small rooms distant parking If you want a hotel in the centre of Metz this is for you. However the car parking is not at the hotel and involves a 5-minute walk in this case in the rain and the rooms are quite small.

If you have a car it is a bit tricky to organize access to the hotel, and parki g is off site with a bit of a walk. But the lovation is perfect.

Excellent location for the food market, Christmas markets, shops and restaurants and the Cite Musicale (Arsenale). Very helpful staff. Bar open until 2am. Great wifi connection for working on laptop. Adjustable heating in room, as it was very cold outside. Local specialities at breakfast.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax. The highlight of my visit was the receptionist, Lisi, who was absolutely lovely. She greeted me with a warm smile and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, excellent service, and friendly staff!

Old. Very small. Ac didn’t work, light in bathroom was constantly on and couldn’t turn off.

Location is good and room size ok. However we faced 2 basic problems which any competent hotel would avoid when preparing rooms for their guests - all the toilet soap/shampoo dispensers were virtually empty and didn’t work, with staff unable to fix it. Also one of the beds didn’t have enough bedding on it, exposing the mattress.

Nice quiet room, didn't like smoke smell in lobby though, so thankful that didn't permeate rooms.

Staff friendly, good parking for six cars in the garage..rooms Adequate for one night. Good location. Breakfast was terrible, like faulty towers, one person trying to do reception, set tables, wash up and probably cook too. No plates, no cutlery, quite chaotic, not worth 12 euros..

This was fine, clean and civil with a decent breakfast. Luxury, it was not but good value and well-situated it was. It has limited parking but there is inexpensive on-street parking available close-by. It's in the city centre, with the positives and negatives of that situation, on the whole positive.

The location is great, and the rooms very quiet (especially considering that you're opposite central station). The personel is very friendly, and the breakfast simple but good. Nice beds.

Good rooms in a nice old building. Some sound leakage, living area nice bathrooms dated. Very small elevator, had to take wheels off the carriage to get in.

Great hotel for the price and location. Paid garage parking is an option, or you can just street park like we did if only one night.

An old hotel close to the centre of Metz and the train station. Positive points include an excellent breakfast and the possibility for secure car parking close to the hotel. The rooms were clean and of decent standard, but a tiny bit worn. The only minus was the lack of air conditioning, as the rooms get very hot even with moderate summer temperatures outside.

Nice hotel very helpful and friendly staff

We made a stopover here heading from England to Italy and again on return. The hotel is quite small (boutique, I would say) but perfectly adequate. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was enjoyable (really nice coffee) and was very timely, as we were a bit rushed for morning departures. The staff were excellent. Parking is an issue. Our coach pulled up around the corner...
