The room is quite big, but the surrounding area is fenced off due to municipal construction. It took me a long time to find the entrance.

Staff at reception were very helpful. The bedroom was as expected in a Mercure and the bathroom of a reasonable size. Pillows were however too thin and it was rather hot at night with heavier duvets still in use despite the Spring weather. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, where staff were again very helpful. A good hotel, everything in order from the reception to the parking and the breakfast. The bar/restaurant is OK, not too pricy and I would consider going here again if I am on the road. It's a nice, quiet corner of Metz, just a short distance from the centre.

We booked three rooms and were very satisfied. The price was only over 600 RMB, but the room was very large, clean and tidy. Two bottles of water were given as well as breakfast, but I didn't eat it, so I don't know how it was!

The hotel looks quite new and therefore was clean and modern inside. the staff were very friendly and chatty. On arrival, we initially drove past it as it’s on an industrial estate and the lighting in the area is poor. The Best Western sign could be bigger and illuminated to give better visibility at the car park entrance. But other than that, it’s a great hotel.

I stayed one night in this hotel well decorated and comfortable. But the room acoustic is two slim. You can here the entire life of your neighbor. The boulevard outside is full of traffic at night and you may suffer the noise from emergency vehicles and drifting cars.

Very nice staff, clean and convenient location. Unfortunately the internet did not work (its worked for me everywhere in Europe yet staff said its “my fault/issue”). Due to security and metered connection it is not suitable for remote work. If you are a remote worker book at your own risk!!!

Great hotel with a perfect location - just a short walk from the train and bus stations, and within easy reach of several museums and the city center. We booked for a double roome with 2 beds, it is a very small room (yes, I knew this in advance) but since we only stayed for 1 night only. that was fine. I have stayed at this hotel several times and it is always clean, comfortable and well priced. The breakfast is also very good. The hotel is very well located in the centre of Metz, five minutes walk from the Cathedral and lots of good restaurants.

The hotel is ideal for exploring the city, with everything within walking distance or a free shuttle bus to the city center. The hotel staff is very professional and friendly; we received excellent advice on sightseeing, etc. A wonderful discovery of Metz and a warm welcome!

Central location small rooms distant parking If you want a hotel in the centre of Metz this is for you. However the car parking is not at the hotel and involves a 5-minute walk in this case in the rain and the rooms are quite small.

If you have a car it is a bit tricky to organize access to the hotel, and parki g is off site with a bit of a walk. But the lovation is perfect.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax. The highlight of my visit was the receptionist, Lisi, who was absolutely lovely. She greeted me with a warm smile and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Old. Very small. Ac didn’t work, light in bathroom was constantly on and couldn’t turn off.

Location is good and room size ok. However we faced 2 basic problems which any competent hotel would avoid when preparing rooms for their guests - all the toilet soap/shampoo dispensers were virtually empty and didn’t work, with staff unable to fix it. Also one of the beds didn’t have enough bedding on it, exposing the mattress.

Nice quiet room, didn't like smoke smell in lobby though, so thankful that didn't permeate rooms.

This was fine, clean and civil with a decent breakfast. Luxury, it was not but good value and well-situated it was. It has limited parking but there is inexpensive on-street parking available close-by. It's in the city centre, with the positives and negatives of that situation, on the whole positive.

An old hotel close to the centre of Metz and the train station. Positive points include an excellent breakfast and the possibility for secure car parking close to the hotel. The rooms were clean and of decent standard, but a tiny bit worn. The only minus was the lack of air conditioning, as the rooms get very hot even with moderate summer temperatures outside.

We made a stopover here heading from England to Italy and again on return. The hotel is quite small (boutique, I would say) but perfectly adequate. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Despite glossy reception, this hotel needs a refurb internally. The breakfast, although plentiful, had 'hot' food which was not hot, and the bacon was under-cooked. Could have been good value for money if that were rectified. Our room was laid out with apparently no thought that one bed was too close to a wall to get out, although there was ample space to rectify that, too!

A hotel in a great location for walking the dog (cost €5.00 per dog). The rooms were solid and clean. Unfortunately the air conditioning didn't really work, so it was very hot in the room.

Great location but… It’s a very well located hotel. It’s an old building so it has no elevator, so you need to carry your luggage up to 3 floors (like in my case). This hotel room was amazing, excellent view of the cathedral, lovely furnishings and super quiet. Has a kettle and cups for making tea. Staff very helpful and polite. Breakfast was good.
