Excellent location close to the old town, shopping streets, Place Stanislas, etc.
We had a large superior room at the (quieter) rear side of the hotel. The king-size bed was very comfortabel.
There is a (tight) parking garage behind the hotel, which we found convenient.
The lobby could do with a slight make-over but as one doesn’t spend much time there, this is not so very important.
Breakfast is outstanding and a must when staying here.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, which made this stay a very pleasant one. We will be back for sure !

"I had an excellent stay at the Mercure Hotel in Nancy! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. What truly stood out was the breakfast. The variety of food was impressive, catering to all tastes, and everything was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. The attention to detail and quality made it a fantastic start to the day. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nancy

The Good: Staff was friendly, courteous and responsive, 100% Class A Staff.
The Bad: This hotel is nothing like what is advertised on the Accor App. The listing is deceptive and prices are ridiculous for a hotel of this Level
1. The picture of the Hotel on it's listing (on the Accor site/app) is a picture of the local palace downtown NOT in any way affiliated with or attached to the Hotel. The hotel is in a good location near all downtown sites, but it looks nothing like the picture in the listing
2. This hotel claims to be a four star hotel that is just waiting for final certification of their rating. If this is true the McDonalds must also be waiting for their Michelin Star. This hotel is at best a standard hotel more similar to a Ibis, or Holiday Inn Express, but charging four star Mercure prices.
3. View from the window was of a dreary courtyard with trash
4. Breakfast was good food, but very Chaotically presented. Again, this was more similar to a Ibis or Holiday in Express breakfast, NOT anywhere near the four star experience advertised.
Overall Staff was very nice, everyone was doing their best, and I enjoyed my stay. But my intent was to spend one night with my family at a really nice hotel on the last day of our vacation. I instead spent 4 star money for a Ibis/Holiday Inn Experience.

The team at the hotel made our stay effortless and pleasant. I would like to specifically mention Lucy and Louis, who have been very helpful throughout our day. I could recommend the hotel both location close to Stanley Square and all the associated restaurants and bars and a first class breakfasts.

Easy parking, location couldn't be better, outstanding check-in, recognition of my Gold status and free upgrade to a great room with free mini-bar and super comfy bed. The welcoming drink of a local beer was also part of an excellent reception. Breakfast was also great ... spotless ... I struggle to find something wrong and really I can't. The personnel is also a benchmark of a friendly and efficient service. I will definitely return to picturesque Nancy and stay again

The suite was comfortable and clean. The staff at reception were very friendly and attentive. Very convenient parking right in front and the location allows you to have all the things to see on your doorstep. Full breakfast

The hotel is very well located and seems to have been renovated a few years ago, unfortunately in many shades of grey, which make the hotel and the rooms appear very dark. The normal rooms are very small but have air conditioning. The bathtub is so high that you have to climb in. There is no proper reception? The breakfast looked very sumptuous and plentiful (but we didn't eat it). The hotel could do with a facelift.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean. Best location in town. Just off the square so you can retreat for peace if you'd like, but so close that the beat party of the ciry are a short walk away

Interconnected rooms, privilege room nicely spacious, excellent and really big bed. Very cosy breakfast, "home-kitchen" style, with pots on a stove and plates in the cupboard, tasty and multiple options. (We had breakfast included, so no comment on the separate value for money). Stanislas square just behind the corner.

As an Accor Gold member I have not received a welcome drink, but was offered a late checkout until 5pm. The room was good, but i did not receive a complementary upgrade. There was maybe not a higher room category, however there where better rooms available (higher floor, bigger). The room cards where only programmed for the first day and had to be reprogrammed for the following day, which wasn't nice as I had to enter the room urgently. The room pictures and the actual rooms are not accurate.
