A really nice hotel with very good rooms.
Placed centrally in Nancy it offers everything you need as a weary traveller.
We booked at short notice and was offered a junior suite which was the best they had available at the time. The room was located at 7th floor which was the top floor for the hotel. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful. We arrived quite late and the hotel restaurant was closed for the summer. The receptionist kindly offered to reserve a table for us at the nearby Brasserie which he strongly recommended (and it was very good).
Out room was clean and had everything we needed. The content of the mini bar was included in the room price (2 bottles of water, 2 sodas and a juice).
Not that we wanted to spend time watching TV, but I did look for an English speaking channel just to get a news update and the only one was CNN int which is not my cup of tea. The hotel could do well by adding content for its international (non-french speaking) customers. Breakfast was a buffet with a wide selection of warm and cold dishes. Coffee was good. The pastries were cold and there were no real cereal unfortunately.

We had to make an unscheduled stop in Nancy after a breakdown—and luckily ended up at the Mercure Nancy.
There was nothing we asked for that wasn't provided.
We would love to come back and have the fondest memories of both Nancy and the Mercure!

Great location with walking distance to most attractions and restaurants. Car parking on site at a cost - discounted by the hotel (Also shared with public) . We arrived in low season on a Monday so sadly a lot of eating places were shut , but those that did open were good quality . Great Irish bar close by ! The room was spacious, clean and comfy and seemed very new, great nights sleep . A shout out to Adam on reception who gave us good directions and advice on where to go during our short stay.

Had a really lovely stay of three nights here. The location is super convenient, amenties nice, but the beat thing about the stay was the staff, who was absolutely lovely and beyond helpful. Thank you!

Warm, professional and natural welcome even if you are late Ready-made dinner served in the room due to covid Quality breakfast Cozy and clean room Located near Stanislav Square and very close to an old beautiful pastry shop run by a charming woman.

I spent the night and morning at Mercure. Very happy. Nice staff. Quiet room, super comfortable bed. COVID room service unfortunately same as breakfast.

All the staff reception catering cleaning Top!! Relaxed efficient sense of service Very good team The "chef" must be good too to achieve this result A very small detail put bigger sheets to be able to tuck them in and that at night when sleeping they do not go away 😉

The only good thing about this hotel is it's location. The room is clean, but that's all - no 4* extras that are supposed to be there. My advice - don't waste your money on this shitty hotel, which services barely reach 2* not to spoil your overall impression about the trip.
