Very welcoming Very pleasant staff, extremely welcoming and helpful, clean smart room, not spacious but absolutely fine, comfortable bed, nice frssh linen and towels. It was not that warm out but room still warm, bathroom heating was on. Easy walking distance from the centre.

this is the most ecle ctic lovely place we have ever stayed. Absolutely loved the fact that you can even get something to eat for dinner with wine and beer at reasonable prices. Staff is excellent, helpful and casual. It's being a guest in a friend's home. Highly recommend.

Hotel is in a good location. It has a cute lobby and breakfast area. My double room was a nice size and I got a really good sleep.

There is a pub downstairs facing the street. It is very noisy with cars passing by. It is quiet until 2 o'clock in the morning. The bathroom is very small. It is two subway stops or an 18-minute walk from the train station.

Booked a 2 bedroom apartment which is actually next door to the hotel. Renovated from an old house, there is no elevator, the corridors are narrow, and the windows at the stairway cannot be closed. The room is spacious and can accommodate six people. There is a kitchen and washing machine. Wi Fi signal is poor. The breakfast is good value for money, and the service staff has a good attitude.

A renovated hotel on a small street with private and outdoor parking that won us over. A welcoming smile, small but pleasant rooms with new bedding, and above all, everything is clean. Extremely helpful and friendly staff with great knowledge of Rennes. My particular room was a bit of a cupboard but it was clean, quiet and great value. Central Rennes location. Launderette nearby. Station within metres of hotel. We're able to take care if my bike securely.

Small and friendly hotel, not far from the centre of Rennes. The entire hotel and well-maintained and very clean. However, the access to the room will be almost impossible for a person with reduced mobility... Very good report quality price.

Perfect for our needs; simple, modern, bright, clean, modestly sized rooms. Roll out of bed and straight to the bus station. The breakfast is good and the welcome very friendly. It could do with a little more internal and external sound proofing.

Newly refurbished, very nice staff, just opposite train station and Metro station, 3 minutes walk to bus station for Mont Saint-Michel. Well equipped room, very comfortable bed and pillow. Very good room rate, highly recommended.

Friendly welcome. The room is clean but cramped, the bedding is relatively comfortable. It lacks an extra pillow and a hairdryer. The breakfast is varied and the price is reasonable. It is normal that the corridors are not in very good condition since everything is open to the wind (referring to a previous comment). But it is true that on the upper floors, the carpet is reaching its end.

Average Well-located hotel with ample parking. Very welcoming staff. Unpleasant odor in the hallway leading to the rooms. A little freshening up wouldn't hurt... Standard breakfast. Real bakery bread is missing. The one offered seems to be baked on-site.

Bill debited before my arrival at 5:45 p.m. for 3 nights, despite a reservation payable on site. Bed not made the second night. Hair dryer available at reception. Breakfast room too small. No fruit except apples.

This is a very good place to stay. The price is reasonable and I found the hotel room clean and comfortable. The receptionist was also very helpful in advising me where the best places to eat within walking distance of the hotel.

We just stayed as a last-minute, one night stop off as part of a long road trip, to break up our journey. It was basic accommodation but entirely adequate and excellent value. Uphill small and cute hotel. Excellent location if your office view is in the university campus. Underestimate the hills and be confronted with too bold a behaviour the next day. Small parking but it looks like one can park anywhere on the streets anyway. Breakfast on the inside or if brave enough you are on the tiny terrace. Croissants, chocolate cookies, fruit, yoghurt, but no vegetables. Eat them...

Stayed here during my visit to a conference. Staff are friendly, but facilities are very average, and will match the price, to say. WiFi is a special mention, it reminds you of yesteryears' dial-up connection. They don't have dinner on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and there are no eateries nearby. Rooms at Campanile standard, which means excellent quality, yet small, for those who mind. Breakfast quality not as good as before, less fresh fruits, but still very decent. Location convenient near University, a bit in the middle of nowhere otherwise, but easily reached by bus from City center

My niece and myself stayed here on our way to Chevanceaux when my clutch went and we hobbled in late in the evening. The staff could not have been more helpful and myself my niece my two dogs and a cat shared a room for the night. I had booked two rooms for us at the Hotel Mecure in Nantes but we didn't make it there. Next morning Etienne help us to locate a towing company who took my car to a garage...

Nice budget motel. Simple budget no-fills stay. Comfortable and with the benefit of secure parking. Easy access to Rennes and a useful stop-over on the way to/from St Malo ferry port. 24hr McD's just across the way for snacks too.
