Friendly welcome. The room is clean but cramped, the bedding is relatively comfortable. It lacks an extra pillow and a hairdryer. The breakfast is varied and the price is reasonable. It is normal that the corridors are not in very good condition since everything is open to the wind (referring to a previous comment). But it is true that on the upper floors, the carpet is reaching its end.

Bill debited before my arrival at 5:45 p.m. for 3 nights, despite a reservation payable on site.

When we first arrived, there was no staff on site. There was a machine there that we could enter our booking number into because we had yet to receive our access code to get into our room. The machine was not recognizing our booking number, so we had to buzz for assistance. Luckily for us, someone answered, and they were able to supply us with our code. When we entered our room, we were hit with a massive smell of cigarette smoke that settled into the back of our throats..... the ceiling was leaking, causing a puddle of water to settle on the floor near the door. The room we had also did not have any additional security as anyone from the outside could walk up and knock on our door. We reached out to staff via the intercom on site and they were able to provide us with a different upgraded room. The second room was nice and way better then the first but still anyone could walk in from the outside world.... This hotel wasn't our first choice, but it did the job for a place to lay your head for the night.

The room is practical and comfortable. It's small, but that's in keeping with the price, which isn't very high either. The breakfast, with scrambled eggs and bacon, is excellent. The downside is the lack of reception outside of a few hours at the end of the day. The rest of the time, you have to check in at an automatic terminal. You then receive a six-digit code that unlocks the room and the parking lot. Guests who arrive in the evening or at night, when the parking lot is closed, therefore, cannot enter. They park outside, then look for the terminal. And if it breaks down, well, it's annoying... It should be added that this is a stopover hotel: when you arrive, you've traveled hundreds of kilometers and you're exhausted. The first morning, the terminal was broken due to incorrect handling by guests. When we entered our supposedly non-smoking room, there was a very strong, persistent and unpleasant smell of cigarettes, impossible to get rid of through the half-open window. If we had had a real receptionist, we could have asked them to unlock the security to open the window wide and get rid of the smell, but that's an option that isn't available on the terminal. And then, when you arrive somewhere, with hundreds of kilometers under your belt, you like a human being to welcome you. In short, the machine never really replaces the human. And I'm not convinced that it's more financially interesting because of the reservations lost due to the terminal being out of order, knowing that it's faster to go to a competing hotel than to call the number provided.
