Campanile Centre - Gare

Location - across the Rennes train station is perfect no time how late you arrive at the city.

Staff are polite and helpful. They are conversant in English which helps a lot.

Room is very clean and spacious. Highly recommended.

Great location being so close to train station and metro (which is first rate). Friendly staff who spoke English. Room was clean with comfy large bed and crisp white linen. Also nice and quiet. Good bathroom with rain shower head and second shower head on rail. Towels not the biggest. Tea makings a bit lack lustre with no creamers/milk for us Brits.
Carpets in corridor could do with hoovering more frequently. Colour scheme in hotel similar to Holiday Inn Express. Overall very happy with our stay here (2 nights in Room 310). Didn't have breakfast here.

Breakfast is good, and it's right by the train station.

Ideally located just steps from the train station, the hotel is pleasant with a beautiful, bright breakfast room. The room is very decent, with two single beds allowing you to appreciate the bed and its mattress. The staff is attentive and very professional. The elevator is spacious, convenient when you have luggage.

Located very near the train station, room is a little small, breakfast is very good. The frontdesk is exceptional, in particular Loane who is extremely helpful, friendly and professional.

Unexpected for the great hotel to stay with good location. Staff very helpful. Breakfast so amazing.

Nearby the Gare, bus stations, very convenient. But hear some noises in the corridor.
Like the room which is comfortable and spacious. Also, the young lady staff with smile and hospitality when my check in.
Although stayed one night only, will choose this stay if come to Rennes in future.

location: excellent location just 3 minute walk from the bus station that takes you to Mont st Michel, with many lovely dining options right by the hotel. a short 8 minute walk to the old town, and the direct local bus to the airport.

service: the staff were very friendly and polite, speaking English very well so no issues with communication.

space and rooms: spacious for its size, the rooms had a kettle and extra bedding available, hangers as well. the common spaces were cosy and available to use always. the temperature is central controlled and got very cold at night around 15 degrees in october. leaving the hotel in the morning it felt warmer outside than it was inside.

ammenities: bath soap and shampoo provided, but not toothbrush and toothpaste. this is available for purchase for 4 euros, the toothpaste comes in a packet that is enough for two uses so do bring your own. only paper cups were provided, would have appreciated some glassware or ceramic ware.

breakfast: I think it was around 12 or 13 euros, there was the standard yogurts, cheeses, bread, crepes, and eggs that you can self poach to your liking. the fresh squeezed orange juice is to die for and at this price point, it is very reasonable.

Very handy location, good parking and staff very kindly managed our late arrival by ensuring we sat down for dinner BEFORE doing our check in. Very considerate! Room was very compact but everything was there and it was nice and quiet.
