Roussillon, 770 route d'Apt - Lieu Dit Bois de la Cour D 104 🧭 Map
We had a lovely week (the last one before the hotel closed for the season) based here while cycling in the area. It was really well run and lacked nothing. The manager was super efficient and pleasant and went out of her way by taking us to the bus stop, which was a fair distance away, as there were no available taxis!
It was our second stay here and everything went very well. Reception was kind and very helpful. Large parking space. Large room with natural light and view to the nearby forest. Fresh air that made us sleep so well. Good breakfast with filtered coffee and good cheeses. Value for money. Good wifi. Fully recommended for couples seeking relaxing time. We will certainly go back.

Very very neat and clean place The rooms had a fantastic view. Great location right next to the village. Polite and courteous owners. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
This is so nice you forget it was only for 1 night. Very nice hotel and wonderful restaurant with a simple but all varieties you can expect. Local wine and superb admosphere.
Loved the staff, dinner on the property, and coffee! Loved the town and location of the hotel to the town. Parking is really close and super convenient.
Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful little hotel! Great location with a 2 minute walk to the center of Roussion. We had a family room on the top floor with a terrace that had the most incredible views! Everything in our room was impeccable and updated, the owners were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was great. There is a small pool with beautiful grounds that you can relax by...
The location is top, the host excellently anticipates the needs when he assigns the room, the room was impeccable. couldnt have asked for more!
Very nice place, clean, pool, nice staff. Doea not have the parking. You need to park on the public parking outside if you dont have luck you wont find a spot there. You dont have to pay for the parking though

One of the best views of all the hotels we have been to. Reception was fast, all the formalities were done quickly and we were shown to our suite. Terrace has a jacuzzi, two sun beds, a large shade, a table plus 4 chairs. Another jacuzzi is inside (downstairs). King side Bed and another toilet are upstairs. Yes, the room has a downstairs and an upstairs.
Just stayed here for three nights in last week. Gorgeous little hotel. The receptionist was so nice that he didn't leave until we arrived (1 am, though the reception is usually closed at 11 pm). Our rooms are very clean and comfortable. All the staff can speak English and are very friendly.
Stayed here two nights in July 2013. Loved Roussillon and this place. Our room had a great view of the red cliffs as does the dining room. This place is top notch and very clean. The owners work very hard to accommodate and are very pleasant and professional. Highly recommend. Roussillon is a rustic and gorgeous part of Provence.

The building and facilities are fine but sadly customers cannot check-in before 3pm (you have to wait outside even although there are staff in reception who know you are waiting) and you can not have breakfast or checkout before 8am! Customers are prevented even from accessing the breakfast coffee machine, or reception area, by a metal gate within the hotel. Again even although staff were aware that...

Great family run hotel with pool and lovely view towards Roussillon. Superb breakfasts and location.
A fabulous little hotel. Beautifully looked after by Armelle and Rene - this is how hotels should be.
The hotel was perfect. We stayed here for one night of our honeymoon trip through France. It is run by the most hospitable couple. Our room was so beautiful and inviting. It had a large bed, a table with comfortable chairs, and a nice bathroom. The pool of the hotel was perfect and it overlooked nearby Rousillion and the Luberon mountains. It made for beautiful sunset. Finally the dinner was amazing...

St. Remy was a beautiful holiday for us and it was a joy to stay 2 nights at this beautiful traditional house, with the huge garden and of course the breakfast. We hope to come back again. Thank you!
What a great relaxing stay here. We enjoyed the clean room, sauna, and big pool! Plus the breakfast was delicious and the service was impeccable and very friendly! Getting to St. Remy is a 5 minute drive away and the hotel helped us by making dinner reservations. Highly recommend!
Fantastic place for a stay in St Remy de provence. Nice spa and swimming pool to take a good rest. Staff very attentive. The place to be in the Alpilles
Everything was so perfect for us. We booked this place for a romantic weekend away. The staff upgraded our room and it was so lovely. The choice of menu in the restaurant however was very small.
Just the most extraordinary stay ever. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. We came for our honey moon and the owner ulgraded us on the spot to a senior suite. We stayed 4 days. We also had our new year eve dinner there and all was perfect. Highly recommend!

Absolutely lovely place & service. We were coming in from Paris by way of the train to Avignon but due to strike & maintenance issues our train was delayed 2 ½ hours, which made us nearly late to pick up our rental car in Avignon and already after dark when everything would be closed for the night. It is an old hotel with Zen / Oriental atmosphere. The physical key is still used for the door lock. It has free parking. The staff speak perfect English and is friendly. Breakfast with 15 euro which is decent. The only downfall for me is the bedsheet and blanket. I don't like wool texture. It would hard to make it clean. I cannot adjust the temperature of the heater in my room
Charming hotel. Incredibly peaceful, every room with its own little garden, a scrumptious breakfast and the freedom to get in and out at any time without hassle. Higly recommended.
What a charming hotel. Just on the edge of town. The garden is extremely relaxing along with the accomodation in general. Breakfast is great and plentiful.
Nice hotel with many amenities including a pool. Beautiful garden that wrap around the small and sympathetic hotel. Sufficiently large parking lot. Good breakfast included.

This is a nice campsite run by a friendly family. The location is perfect and close to the center of the village. The plots are good and there are a lot of trees which is very welcome in the hot summers in the south of France. The gardener is also a nice man. This was just right for us, and the perfect solution for holidays during a pandemic! We were here for 3 weeks in October. Everything worked fine and the cabins are well equipped. The only thing which was unfortunate, was the mattress, which was too hard for me.
Beautiful campsite, showers and toilets are cleaned three times a day. Lots of shadow, nice swimming pool, good variety of food trucks. In walking distance of the beautiful village st. Remy.
Excellent campsite with a great feel to it. Well organised with different food stalls available nightly and a market on site one night that we were there. Great location for exploring Saint Remy. Feels safe and attracts good people!

I did not have a perfect stay overall but the service at the hotel was 5 star. I would recommend the hotel almost exclusively for the excellent service I received. It was an excellent handicap room if you needed it (we did not) but it was very noisy from the bar or the...
Fantastic experience at Valrugues! We had such a relaxing time and concierge took care of all our needs for our toddler. Rooms are great and spacious, the outdoor is spectacular and the fine dining restaurant is superb! 5 stars all the way We will be back
My only concern while staying here was the size of our room. However, the view over the garden from our patio while having lunch in our room is so peaceful. The food was fantastic. Next time, I hope to take advantage of the spa.
My husband and I had a great experience here. From upon arrival, we were helped with our luggage and it was taken to the room. We were given a tour of the hotel and the services. Front desk was always friendly and kind, there was a valet on site that took care of your car. Parking was free. We booked a spa experience as well, a massage and 30 minutes of the private jacuzzi. Rather friendly welcome, pleasant swimming pool and very well placed accommodation. On the other hand, I agree with the many other comments on the rough cleaning (dust and cobwebs) and the aging aspect of the equipment: saggy sofa seat, broken dining table, uncleaned broom, creaky bed. Some equipment is missing: toaster, cutting board, kitchen utensils, chair (4 for accommodation for 6). Too bad the...
A little DIY to do to achieve a good 3 stars (pierced faucet, lamp that does not work and sliding entrance door that does not close on one side forcing the shutters to be closed ...) Great little hotel only a few minutes walk from the heart of St Remy. The room was very clean and a comfy bed. Plenty of parking spaces and a nice pool with sunbeds. Hospitality from the hotel was very good and they were very helpful.

We had a nice stay in this hotel. The premises are well-maintained, clean pool, comfortable sun beds and even a little gym. Parking was easy, safe and included. This quiet little hotel is perfectly located for a base to explore Saint Remy de Provance and surrounding villages. The garden and terrace is a perfect place to unwind in the afternoons or have breakfast on. The owners are lovely and speak excellent English, so if your French is a little rusty, you can get by. Loved the location and staff, lovely people and very helpful. The basic rooms were just that, basic, comfortable but not up to any 4 star rating in my experience. Spent the last two nights of a four night stay in an upgraded room, comfortable and roomy but still a stretch to say four stars. Still, I would recomend this hotel, the location and staff are first rate.
The best location. Out the door and straight into St Remy. Staff are very nice, friendly and efficient. Down side it all looks a little unloved and could really do with a revamp
This hotel seemed like it once was a very nice hotel, but it appeared to be either understaffed or not well taken care of. The rooms were nothing special, and there was a lingering smell of sewage in the room, maybe from disuse. I would have rated it lower, but the front staff was so friendly and so very helpful. This is a very comfortable hotel on a main street in St. Remy de Provence ,easily accessible, with many onsite amenities but also right across the street from great restaurants and shops . Excellent walking in the area. We had a spacious room that felt more like a small apartment. Very quiet. Helpful staff. Great breakfast in the morning, bar services in the evening. Onsite restaurant.
Amazing location, very friendly staff, beautiful grounds. The rooms are quote small and outdated, but that wouldn't have been an problem if it weren't for the maintenance issues. Seems like there are some management issues here and it's unfortunate because it is a lovely place with charming people.
A very nice hotel in the center of St Rémy with tourist sights and restaurants within walking distance. The large garden behind the hotel are well maintained and has a English garden style maze/labyrinth. A very positive experience. If you are there on a Wednesday walk to the awesome farmer’s market.

We wanted to try some provencal cuisine and this place had all the right reviews so we gave it a try. In all our time in france (4 months), this was the first time I was disappointed in my food and prices. To be fair, the foie gras was really good, but that was it. The steak was chewy and the chicken was dry. The dessert had gone a few steps further than the regular baba au rhum and was soaked in liquor...
Lovely little restaurant. The wine didn’t blow us away (we tried 4 different glasses between us), but think we picked poorly. Food was excellent and the service was top notch and included smiles and laughter. We went as a couple but the place had families, groups and other couples, all of whom were having a great time! This place was the best overall experience we had in Saint Remy! The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. The caesar salad is one of the best I’ve ever had. This was the best overall meal experience I’ve had in France! The food is amazing but it’s the friendly, happy, fun people that put it over the top. Nothing pretentious, even though the food is Michelin star quality. We stayed here to see Van Gogh, and learn as much as we could about him and the place he spent a year in. We found a beautiful town which rises to the occasion, to the incessant drumbeat of tourism. Very helpful staff. Very dark room. I think a room on a higher floor would have changed my rating. I preferred to go out to a local bar for breakfast. Very clean and a central position. Car parking was a bit of a trek!!!
