Château de la Gaude Hotel

I was really looking forward to staying at a hotel with a long history, but my trip was ruined by too many hotel reception mistakes from check-in to check-out. There is no reason to pay a lot of money and experience this.

Don’t be fooled into staying here … our 3 night wedding anniversary was spoilt because the room air conditioning system failed. Check other review channels and you will see this is a common occurrence experienced by guests. The room was unbearably hot with no air circulation. After multiple complaints and their admission they just ignored us. It’s not worth the money, terrible service, no management and it’s most definitely not 5 star. Service outside the restaurants is non-existent and the Manager one worst I have experienced in the industry … they will demand your payments and ensure you have no recourse. It’s an average hotel at best but a real shame as it could be stunning. There are far better luxury hotels in Provence so stay somewhere else … this is not a luxury hotel experience …ruined our anniversary and is hiding from the reality of guest experiences … some of the young staff are lovely but the management is laughable. Stay somewhere else that understands hospitality. It’s not here and will be a very expensive mistake
