Hotel Kyriad Saint Malo Centre Plage in St. Malo

My family of 3 plus a dog stayed 1 night at this hotel when we decided to extend our stay in the area. We came from a 4 star hotel in Dinard and I must say, we enjoyed this hotel better! I booked the family duplex and it had the best ocean view of our entire trip. The room was updated mostly (the bathroom was a bit outdated) and it was so wonderful to just open the door and walk out to the sea past the boardwalk. I also had a lovely time sitting on the patio bar and reading a book, the service was amazing! Highly recommend this hotel for this room specifically.

I’ve always wanted my own Mr. Hulot’s holiday and here I found it. A quirky very french hotel right on the beach. It’s not modern, sometimes the corridors feels like a warren but it is rather good. I had a room overlooking the sea, charming and by french standards large. A perfectly acceptable breakfast you can have in your room served by a lady who looked better dressed and presented than anyone else I have ever seen at seven a.m. in the morning. From outside, in particular the roadside it doesn’t like very appealing. Perhaps time for an update on the signage for a start, Everyone on staff seems very helpful even though they are probably still shaking their heads at my observation that the room tax was shown twice on the cost breakdown they sent me. They charged me the correct amount, but the french logic as to why it was shown twice is still days later bouncing around in my head. One negative, and it’s something I have commented on other properties. The bathroom had one of those spa jet baths which also doubled as the shower. The sides of those baths are generally pretty hight and without any sort of handles on the bath wall as you age getting in and out of the shower has you dangled on the edge of a visit to the ER. So unless you love modernity, or can’t abide a few draughts in your hotel room this is a lovely place to stay. Choose one of the rooms overlooking the sea though. They aren’t particularly cheap, but the views and atmosphere can make your entire vacation.

We as a family were here in the 3rd week of June. We were allowed to check in 5 hours early!!! We are thankful to the kind receptionist for that.
The room was clean, cozy and spacious. The Linen and towels were also clean. The kettle and varieties of tea/coffee sachets were a real comfort. The balcony door opens to the ocean and it was such an enchanting view!!!! It was a great experience to watch the tides go down.in the noon and come back full by evening... The breakfast was great and was also beach-front. The water filter in the common place was also a blessing. The guests have access to the beach from hotel. I would like to visit here again...

Lovely sea view room. Very comfortable and clean. Reception staff helpful and spoke excellent English. Location great - approx 1/2 hour stroll to Intra Muros. Could walk straight out onto promenade. Only minus was the parking which was difficult.

Lovely hotel with greta views of the sea and beach from our room and the bar and breakfast room. Easy walk along the prom to the old town which is a great place to visit. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Good restuarants for evening meal within two minutes walk. Will come again.

Location! A small hotel with a friendly atmosphere on the beach promenade. There is also beach in both direction for walks and lots of water sports to view. Saint Malo Walled Town, many diverse eateries and embarkation points for boat excursions are all within walking distance. The hotel has a bar / coffee area overlooking the beach and the breakfast room also has sea views. All staff are welcoming and helpful and there is storage space for luggage for early arrivals. The facilities, bedroom and bathroom were all very clean, although the shower was slightly small. Wonderful stay. .
