We stayed for 3 nights in September at Lou Pinet in St Tropez. It was truly amazing. The hotel itself is stunning and in a beautiful spot just outside town. The decor looks spectacular, and in the rooms they have thought of everything from welcome note and amenities, to helpful books and tips, beach bag and towels etc etc. The whole decor / atmosphere of the hotel is understated and tasteful, everything just fits. The staff are incredible and you feel they absolutely want you to have the best experience, they speak amazing English and nothing is too much trouble - from restaurant and beach club reservations and advice, organising birthday surprises, picking us up when we got a bit lost after a beach walk and so on. The best place we have stayed in on the Cote d'Azur hands down, and one of the best places globally. Book it and thank me later.

The most amazing hotel!! Very attentive staff, beautiful property, and amazing food. The attentive to detail at this resort is perfection and we had the most memorable stay. It’s a smaller, more intimate property about a mile from St. Tropez port. It’s walking distance to the port and the beach, but they offer a free hotel shuttle service as well. The rooms are gorgeous and the whole hotel feels like you’re in a dream. Will definitely be back.

Bang on average experience, wouldn’t choose to stay here again: 1. On the good side, the hotel is pretty (particularly the pool area), the food is very nice (beef bar was very good) and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth going to beef bar and over looking the pool but don’t stay at the hotel 2. On the bad side the design of the rooms mostly over looking the pool is sub-optimal as you don’t get privacy. We had a particularly annoying room which was right on the pool (if you stay I would request not to have this room.) it meant that whenever you are in the room you need to shut the curtains and that just meant it was felt dark and dingey and wasn’t a particularly nice experience 3. It didn’t feel like a luxury experience - eg you know when they charge you extra for avocado with your breakfast they’re looking for the extra margin which just takes away from the luxury service experience. This is fine for a Marriot type hotel but when you’re spending £1000+ a night it’s disappointing. Basically anything they can charge you extra for, they will (parking etc) 4. Gym is very very bad - surprised it could get a 5 star rating with such a poor gym. I have a better set up at home. 5. It’s also loud - you can hear the music from Beef bar in the rooms which is annoying if you want to sleep earlier or have children For same price point stay at Pan Dei Palais - it’s a much better hotel all around and the experience and service is incomparable. If you want to be outside of the town stay at Villa Marie in Ramatuelle and just get a higher level room than the entry level.

From the moment we stepped thru the door of Hôtel Lou Pinet, we knew we’d arrived in Holiday Heaven! After a stressful workweek in Cannes, four of us women (40s-50s) decided to spend a weekend in St. Tropez and we could not have selected a more perfect location than Lou Pinet as we were looking for some serenity yet easy access to town center, both offered at the property. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially the concierge desk. A special shout out to Kelvin (or Calvin—our bad in not getting exact spelling) as he was amazing (and patient) at n helping us plan our days/evenings. His recommendation of renting their hotel’s little electric jeep vehicle was such a great one as we had a ball driving it thru town to Bagatelle Beach and to harbor and thru town. The hotel’s amenities are lovely (the complimentary totes bags really came in handy) and we loved the arrival and nightly turn-down service goodies, different each night. We opted to include bfast in our rate and it was well worth it as their offerings were delicious. The pool was kept well heated which was nice since it was a bit cool for May. One little suggestion would be to offer sunscreen in the nearby bathrooms. Many resorts at this level do so would have been a nice little thing. The other poolside and lunch offerings were terrific. The Beefbar dinner was very good. Not the best but nice. Recommend for dinner trying out one of the many wonderful recommendations the hotel offered instead. After just 24 hours into our 2 night trip, we loved the property so much we added a third night, deciding to eat the cost of the hotel we had booked in Nice. Yes, the hotel was that amazing for us. For those concerned about not being close to town, the tranquility was worth staying a little outside of city center and the hotel shuttle was very fast. And if you really wanted, you could make the walk into town, only about 20 mins walk. In a nutshell, for those wanting a relaxing, gorgeous weekend in St. Tropez with a little bit of party thrown in, Hôtel Lou Pinet is the perfect place.

This review is so long overdue but worth writing regardless! The concierge team at Lou Pinet is some of the best individuals I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I was planning a proposal to my now wife and was asking so many questions on where I should propose, lunch reservations, dinner reservations, cars, etc. You name it, I asked it and they were so patient and so kind with every single request I had. There were multiple changes and they handled everything with such grace and ease. The hotel property is out of a movie and the staff all around is just such an incredible vibe to be around. They make you feel so welcomed and the grounds make you feel like you belong there. This review is so long overdue, I proposed to in 2021 but if they were that amazing back then, I could only imagine how much better they are now! If Amélie & Thomas are still there you are loved! - Cole Mier

After being ripped off at La Mandarin in St Tropez we found this place which was completely the opposite, highly recommended. Excellent staff, accommodation and food, lovely grounds and pool. Good for couples or families. We will return.

Lou Pinet is a gorgeous property, away from the intensity of the Saint-Tropez scene but still very easily accessible to town via a five-minute hotel shuttle that runs anytime. The staff were lovely, the food (especially the breakfast spread) was fantastic, and the pool area is incredibly relaxing. The whole thing feels like Instagram bait, like a self-consciously Wes Anderson aesthetic, which may turn some folks off and likely attracts a clientele who are mostly interested in social media posts. But don't let that turn you off the property — it was a wonderful experience start to finish. The room was very comfortable and quiet, despite a large tour group who were passing through at the time. The only (very minor) cons: 1) the "gym" is hilariously small, and the hotel would be better placed to partner with a local gym instead; 2) the door locks on the guest rooms are insanely overcomplicated — so much so that even the hotel staff seem to have trouble locking and unlocking them. That last point sounds minor, but given how many times we entered and exited our room it added up to a material (and unnecessary) annoyance over the course of the stay. Saint-Tropez is not for everyone — we found the scene to be too much even in the wonderful September shoulder season — but it you want to stay very nearby at a lovely property, Lou Pinet is fantastic.

A little out of town, but the staff are only too happy to run you in and out of town any time. Away from the buzz and glitz, but then there is plenty at the hotel also. Really relaxing, though we could hear the people above us going to the toilet and the water flushing, so the tip is get a room upstairs, if you can do stairs. Staff are superb, so very helpful and lovely. An enjoyable stay and we could have enjoyed the glamour and people watching in st tropez Ian

It was absolutely wonderful experience I had during my recent stay at hotel Lou Pinet. From the very beginning, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality. Hotel team’s dedication to creating a welcoming atmosphere truly made a difference in our overall stay. I would like to extend a special thank you to the concierge guy - Mickael for his exceptional service, attentiveness and willingness to assist with any inquiries or requests. Our room was always immaculately cleaned and replenished with fresh towels and amenities. It truly felt like a home away from home. The restaurant staff provided an unforgettable dining experience. The delicious meals, coupled with their friendly and efficient service, made each meal a delight. Thank you once again for providing such a memorable experience.

I'm thrilled to share my overwhelmingly positive experience at Hotel Lou Pinet in St. Tropez. The meticulously maintained grounds were like a haven of serenity, providing a breathtaking backdrop to our stay. While the rooms were on the smaller side, their exquisite beauty and thoughtful design more than compensated. The attention to detail truly set a new standard for luxury accommodations. The staff's extraordinary level of attentiveness, kindness, and professionalism left an indelible mark on our hearts. It felt as if we were being hosted by dear friends rather than simply being guests at a hotel. The concierge team's dedication was truly commendable, ensuring our every need was met with genuine care and precision. Their devotion added an extra layer of comfort to our stay. Indulging at the hotel's restaurant was an unforgettable culinary journey. The food was not just amazing; it was a masterpiece of flavors that delighted our palates in every possible way. Having previously stayed at Hotel Byblos, which is in the same price range, I can honestly say that Hotel Lou Pinet offers a level of value for money that is unparalleled. The experience goes beyond the physical amenities; it's about the warmth and hospitality that transform your stay into something incredibly special. Hotel Lou Pinet caters to those who seek relaxation and sophistication. It's a retreat where class and style intertwine, offering an environment free from ostentation and excess. It's a place for those who appreciate true luxury without the need for flashy displays of wealth. Reflecting on the 10 days we spent there, I am filled with gratitude for the memories we created. Without a doubt, it stands as the pinnacle of hotel experiences in the South of France. Our hearts are already set on returning to St. Tropez, and there's no doubt that Hotel Lou Pinet will be our choice of stay. It's more than a hotel; it's a treasure trove of cherished moments that we can't wait to experience again. Thank you Laurent and Team, you are amazing. Chris & the Reinhardt Family
