Had the most amazing stay at the iconic Hotel Martinez! The views of the French Riviera are absolutely unbeatable. Waking up to that view felt like something out of a movie.

The whole place has this old-school Hollywood glam vibe that makes you feel instantly special, yet everything is so comfortable and welcoming. Everyone greeted us by name and made us feel completely at home.

The breakfast spread was absolutely wonderful. My husband nearly cried over the incredible bread selection, and I couldn’t get enough of the eclairs and the bread pudding.

The staff made the experience even more memorable: Carla was a joy at check-in, Lionel and Arthur were fantastic at breakfast, and Tung was so kind to serve us a late-night dinner right before closing after our travel delays. It was such a relaxing, luxurious stay. I honestly felt like a celebrity!

Prime location. Incredible service and concierge service. This hotel will ruin other hotels for you because very few hotels can compare. The breakfast chefs were really incredible. It was the best breakfast we ever had in our life. The breakfast buffet is absolutely unmissable. The bars were very fun as well.

Zero value to the customer experience. The 5 star experience comes from history, not the current affairs, beyond a shocking experience. The hotel shows incompetence and a lack of interest in resolving paying client issues. When we had issue during our stay your team told us 4 separate stories to what happened in the space of 20 minutes and no one seemed to know what was actually going on.
While the hotel facilities were great it's a shame we are not treated as valued guests and with such minimal attention.

I was really looking forward to my stay at such a prestigious property, but my first impressions have been very underwhelming and disappointing.

On arrival, the bell staff were friendly; attentive to a certain extent and welcoming. Unfortunately, the check-in experience did not match that same standard. While some guests were being checked in comfortably while seated, we were directed to a small counter. The receptionist was kind and offered us water, but the process felt very unpleasant and not what one would expect from a hotel of this level. On top of that, there wasn’t even an acknowledgment of my World of Hyatt membership at check-in, not a simple thank you or mention of it, which added to the sense that the arrival experience lacked attention to detail.

The room was the bigger disappointment. It was clearly not inspection-ready, with visible damages, broken fittings, and stains. The WC toilet was not clean under the tray, and the hair dryer had simply been tossed aside in a messy way. Also, for such a spacious room, the wardrobe is surprisingly small and impractical; definitely not for two persons. To add to this, the view from the room is quite lacklustre and not on the prettier side of the city, which was disheartening considering the setting of Cannes.

I’ve attached photos that highlight most of these issues — including some that raise safety concerns, such as the hair dryer tossed carelessly under the sink and two doors clashing into each other in the small washroom area.

This is only my first day, and I truly hope the rest of the stay improves, but the arrival and room experience have not met the expectations of a hotel with such a reputation. Attention to detail and consistency in service are definitely areas that need improvement.

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at Hotel Martinez and it was unforgettable. From the warm welcome to the beautifully appointed room with stunning sea views, everything was perfect. Lunch at the beach club was exceptional — fresh line-caught seabass and outstanding service. A thoughtful gesture from the manager made the occasion even more special. Memories for life — highly recommended!

I had a fantastic stay at Hôtel Martinez in Cannes and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, the front desk made me feel welcome. They went out of their way to show me different room options so I could choose what I liked best.
The room I chose was spotless, comfortable, and well designed, with a nice balance of elegance and coziness. The whole hotel has a beautiful Art Deco style that gives it so much character, and you can feel the history of the place while still enjoying all the modern comforts.
What really stood out, though, was the service. Every staff member I interacted with was professional, kind, and genuinely seemed to care that guests were having a good time. Nothing ever felt rushed or transactional – it was warm and personal.
Overall, everything about my stay felt smooth and effortless, from check-in to check-out. It was one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time, and I left already looking forward to my next visit.

The hotel offers exceptional service. The rooms are very up to date and clean, and as a Hyatt Globalist, I was treated very well. The breakfast buffet (and staff) were fantastic. The location in Cannes was great, and their beach club service was top notch.
The concierge, the front desk staff, house keeping, all contributed to an amazing stay. Will return!

My boyfriend and I had the most beautiful vacation staying at Hotel Martinez during the week of Bastille Day 2025. The room, location, and food were amazing, but what really stood out the most was the service. From the concierge staff, waitresses, maids, everyone was incredible. This was my first time in France (from USA), and my boyfriend explained that Hotel Martinez and the Carlton, were the top two in Cannes, with Carlton being #1. I can firmly say, our next trip to Cannes must be at Hotel Martinez, and we would not have had the top-notch experience if we were anywhere else, thanks to the staff.

Delphine (if I'm spelling that correctly), made our trip especially magical. After over-hearing us denied from the restaurant because they were closing, she didn't skip a beat and directly guided us to this beautiful bar in the back. She had us seated where we pleased, and the bar was absolutely beautiful. Speakeasy feel, incredible mood lighting and curated art-deco furnishings. Delphine had us served quickly, and when that bar closed, made arrangements for an additional glass of wine - her wine recommendations were stellar. She introduced herself as the new manager of the bar, we thanked her for her exceptional service, and she beautifully described her love for hospitality, and her "why". In LA and Miami, especially at 5 star establishments, the staff often treat guests like they are a burden to even check in or ask for reservations. Not only did we receive exceptional service, but I felt the staff truly enjoyed their work, and made us feel like we were appreciated and wanted as guests. Delphine made our last night of the trip so incredible we both left Hotel Martinez the next morning firmly resolving to return as soon as we could.

There aren't enough words to explain how magical this trip was for us - many thanks to the staff for creating this beautiful memory for us.

I’ve had the privilege of staying at many hotels due to my work, but none compare to the exceptional hospitality at the Martinez Cannes.

I recently celebrated my birthday there, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. A special thanks to the amazing team, especially Roch and Lisa, who go above and beyond to make every stay unforgettable.

The Martinez truly sets the standard for outstanding service, and I can’t wait for my next visit!

A chic and trendy hotel. Very large and very busy. Think Las Vegas. Beautiful and contemporary hotel with an array of room designs to choose from. I stayed in the Oasis room which was spacious, bright and inviting. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is fabulous and over-the-top. The beach and private beach club are located across the street and offer cozy cabanas on the dock or beach chairs on the sand. The water is clean, clear and calm. The beach club restaurant was great for lunch. For dinner I recommend the restaurant located inside the hotel. It is stunning in it's design and beauty. The food here is outstanding with 5 star service to match. This hotel has a cool crowd and a fun vibe. Great for couples, friends and families with children.
