For me a 3.5 star experience. We stayed here for one night in June as part of a longer trip in the South of France.
On the plus side, the hotel is beautifully designed and the rooms are particularly easy on the eye. It has a fantastic roof terrace with views over the water which is hard to come by in Cannes. The spa was also a welcome addition included with the room rate, and we were able to spend the morning before check out having a steam and sauna.
Unfortunately, being located next to a fairly busy road meant it was extremely noisy and we struggled to sleep with a constant stream of scooters etc. passing by. The staff member at reception said 'we know' rather abruptly, when it was mentioned that we were staying for my birthday, but they didn't do anything beyond the extras which were already included through us staying via Mr and Mrs Smith. A steam/iron also took almost an hour to come after requesting it.
The location is a bit away from the main sites and strip of Cannes, so its not the best place to explore the town from.
Probably wouldn't return, but can't say it was great nor bad.

We had an amazing stay at hotel belle plage. The hotel is excellent and the apartments serve the purpose of the stay for a small family. It is all new with regular service (twice daily). The staff at the hotel are excellent especially Linda at the breakfast place and the manager Jad. We will certainly return to this hotel from our next holiday.

Stayed for the Cannes International Triathlon and they couldn’t have been more accommodating with our needs concerning the bikes. Impeccable design and decor. Outstanding service from the staff and a world-class spa experience all the while cozy and welcoming. Our new favourite place to stay in Cannes and hope to become regulars 😊

I have just had a magical experience at Hotel Belle Plage. I hosted a drinks reception at Bella (the rooftop restaurant) and it was superb. I received such a high standard of attentiveness and service from every single member of the team and i am truly grateful for your skills and talent. The views are magnificent, the hotel is slightly set back so you have a wonderful vista of the whole of Croisette coastline as well as having the old town behind which makes for an unrivalled view of Cannes. The hotel is also beautiful, and very stylish. A special shout out to Lara who was my point of contact during the organisational process and who was an ultra-efficient, charming and diligent superstar throughout! The event was the talk of the town and our guests said that they felt privileged to have been invited and I am so grateful to the team that made this night an outstanding success! Thank You Hotel Belle Plage - I can't wait to return!

We just finished a wonderful stay at the Belle Plage and I can’t say enough on how great our stay was. Billel greeted us when we first arrived and was a delight every time we saw him. The room was beautiful and the rooftop bar had the most STUNNING views. I didn’t grab his name but the bartender on the rooftop was amazing and treated us like family. Lastly the spa was INCREDIBLE and such a thrill to learn it was included in our stay. You must visit if you stay here. The hotel is situated off of La Croisette which was no issue for us considering we visited around the film festival. It felt like a retreat from the busy city but if you are considering this hotel I highly recommend you stay!

Impeccable across the board. Excellent service from the staff. Design and decor to die for. Rooms perfectly maintained, and the spa service among the very best we’ve ever experience. This hotel and spa is truely a hidden gem of Cannes

Amazing hotel experience! We were greeted by the most loving staff. The rooms are superb, there was a little welcome gift in the room. Spa is across the street and small, but still good. Beds are super comfortable.

The rooms were beautiful! they are really well decorated and the space is big. The only concern is that we asked for a (triple) room and the “bed” they added was really small and uncomfortable. Besides that, the hotel is beautiful and the service was great! definitely would recomend!

Worst restaurant experience ever, however, the best Spa made up my day.
My husband organized me a relax Saturday retreat whole Spa & rooftop lunch package which was something like 420€ + and all arranged all set up. The package is including one hr body excellent morning massage, rooftop lunch at 12:30pm, when I arrived the restaurant the only thing restaurant could found was my name no more information, no detail, nothing has been informed or organized. I told the staff there that my husband told me he has set up everything and I came here for spa and everything should be including… staff had no clue at all what I’m talking about so I only could sit there and they said they have to check. Coz I don’t know what kind of arrangement my husband did and I don’t want to ruin his surprise. After a good 30 mins waiting, still no responds from the staff I started to feel frustrated as my next facial appointment is 14:00pm and it’s already 13:00pm I was still not hearing anyone, no answering someone finally came to ask me if I want to have still or sparking water !!!!! I said to the staff; I couldn’t wait any longer coz I had next facial appointment at 14:00pm I can just order and pay. When the staff heard me “oh, you can pay” he immediately said sure, no problem!!!! I think your staff, missed the whole point…for sure I can pay, but the problem is how come after 30 mins you still couldn’t found out what kind of booking arrangement I had and detail you have in your system? After I ordered; I finally able to reach my husband via the phone, after he spoke to the restaurant team, they finally realized what’s the booking and apologize and told the spa to extend my Spa time. However, what makes me more sad when I got home; my husband told me; did you enjoy your wine and everything? No, at restaurant, no one ever really came and explain to me what’s included to my package!!!! So at the end I only got the still water, starter, main course, dessert and coffee!!! So pls, I need an explanation of what’s Including of this rooftop lunch menu and why non of the staff came to explain to me of what I can have even after 30 mins waiting and wasting of my time!!! Really disappointing!!!

Can’t believe this beautiful hotel is only a 4* hotel - we had a 5* experience! The Hotel Belle Plage is in a fantastic location to explore Cannes, with beautiful views of the beach.
The staff were always very friendly & helpful. Our room was spotless, quiet & very comfortable. We made the most of the spa facilities in the Villa Belle opposite, which was also superb. We felt like the only guests in the building!
