First - the location is brilliant. Ski in and ski out is fantastic. But as good as the location, the service team is way better. Anna and Ori on the day shift are simply sublime and are very friendly and supporting. And Isabelle on the night shift is fantastic for helping out when everyone is asleep and you’d think there’d be nobody to help you.

Just spent 2 weeks in this little gem. The hotel is ideally located right on the ski slopes, with super clean and comfortable "Superior" rooms, "average +" Food & Beverage and SUPER KIND staff from management, reception, cleaning staff to restaurant staff. We felt at home and look forward to coming back next year.

Amazing location, small but very expensive rooms, but good quality. bar staff - some were excellent, some were not. Very surprised that the entrance by the reception was never cleared of snow and ice and very dangerous. Good ski/boot room and cupboards and access to the slopes.

My husband and 10 months old baby had the pleasure to stay in Hotel Mariëlle. We had an unforgettable experience that exceeded our expectations. It remains the most wonderful place I’ve stayed in Val Thorens, with very easy ski out/ski in service. Food was wonderful, and the entertainment every evening was filled with good music and good vibes. I look forward to coming back skiing again soon!

Had a lovely time at this hotel, was not expecting the quality of this hotel to be so high. Good location, ski in ski out, good food and service. Will return here with my kids, but would ask for a room away for the bar and restaurants as it can get quite loud.

Had a very nice stay with my wife and our three-year-old. All the hotel staff are very helpful. They are willing to go above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. For example, it is hard to get a taxi here, the hotel shuttle bus is not usually available during 12-3pm (break time), but when the hotel manager learnt that we have too much ski equipment to bring back with the kid after our lessons,...

Very nice place to stay, great staff and service, cozy restaurant with good food

Hotel is very good, satisfies 4 stars quite well. The only minus ski-in is from red slope not suitable for the beginners. Breakfast is excellent. But the restaurant for lunch is big disappointment! We took risotto, it was not cooked and pork chop dry inside, over-burned outside, full of fat, accompanied tasteless salad and potatoes. Service was good though.

The room was spacious and clean (junior suite). We had both breakfast and dinner in the hotel. During the dinner everyday you could chose from different dishes - all of the were really good - we highly recommend that option. The spa was also nice with good massages. The only thing is that are near swimming pool was quite small and sometimes pretty crowded. Staff was really attentive and helpful.

The hotel location is perfect - 2 steps and you are on the piste. Accommodation standard, décor, cleanliness all first class. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were always friendly and helpful. Spa facilities were great at the end of a skiing day. This is our 3rd visit - we will be back!

Location is great, however the hotel itself lacks some amenities, such as a hot tub in the spa, also, the wet sauna in the spa was broken and wasn't fixed for the entire week we stayed. Minibar prices are extremely expensive (even for the baseline of minibar prices). Staff is very nice and helpful.

This place is fantastic! The staff are lovely and extremely helpful. The included breakfast has varied choices including vegan and gluten free - more than enough to fuel a full day skiing. The location is central so it's easy to wander around town ands it's ski in and out. The rooms are a little dark but otherwise well appointed and just roomy enough.

A lovely hotel in a perfect location in Val Thorens with great decor. The pool and spa facilities look out onto the mountain. The staff were all very helpful and attentive. The car concierge service is a great when you arrive in the winter months.

Great apartment set-up : double-decker with 2 well separate rooms with each of a bathroom. Great for parents with teenagers.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment at Kashmir. The absolutely best thing about this residence was the convenience! Properly ski in/ski out with a ski shop for rentals and a boot room right on the side of the slope. So convenient with our young children. Really friendly and helpful staff. Great space in the accommodation for the three valleys. Nice (but but huge) pool for the kids to play in and a choice of saunas. Ski in/ out with good size ski lockers. Only thing I could think of to improve would be to be closer to the centre of the resort, but the walk to the supermarkets is pretty easy as is getting to the lifts etc. Awesome stay 😊

Nice authentic hotel in the upper part of Val Thorens. Parking is scarse, but a nearby public parking offers a decent alternative. Service is good, food is also quite OK. The setting is that of a nice typical wooden chalet, with all sorts of authentic props! Spa is decent, only the sauna outside was but 55 °C when we went in.

Just had a wonderful ski week in Le Sherpa Val Thorens. The general atmosphere was relaxed, cosy and welcoming and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We stayed half board and the food was also really lovely. We were grateful to all the bar and restaurant staff who worked very hard to provide excellent friendly service throughout the week, with special thanks to our lovely waitress Pauline.

The walls are pretty thin, the beds are comfortable, but the pillows aren't peticulaly good. The saunas are great and the pool is pretty nice.

We had a comfortable three bedrooms self catering apartment, two en-suites, balcony and everything needed, clean and easy manage. Swimming pool, steam room and sauna is added bonus, great after ski activities. It’s located at the top of the hill, kept us walking a bit, we might choose to be somewhere closer to the activities give choice. The public area such as lobby, staircase feels a little rundown

Hotel is clean and well equipped, staff are helpful and the room is lovely. Could be more easily accessible from the slope but it's not too bad.

5 stars from here, due to high service and the fact that there are Danes or Swedes in the hotel, the terrace outside is super cozy during the day. Plus you can get a super delicious burger for a very reasonable price. In addition to that, it is possible to have a breakfast buffet and dinner. When we were there a few years ago, the dinner was 3 courses. You can't complain about that!

Overall the best wintervacation I had, weather was exquisite, hotel was clean and accommodated to handicapped people. Staff extremely helpful and kind, also the kitchen was terrific. Location was superbe, only 15m and you can lay down the ski's to strap in. Also very tidy cleanup of our rooms, meticulous change of bedsheets and pillows. To summarize, a recommendation! :)

Had a wonderful week, 4 seasons i suppose! including the biggest overnight dump I've ever seen, throughout the staff were very welcoming. My son had an impromptu bday party in the lounge with over 40 people, the adults were very well looked after and the kids went mad with joy in the crazy snowfall. Not a 4 star apartment residence. The rooms are fine and clean and the location is good - right next to a shortcut leading to a central part of town. However, they do not provide simple things like toilet paper - you have to get your own. The free WiFi barely works.

Definitely not a 4 starts apartment hotel. Rooms were tiny for a group of people. Tiny bathroom, tiny toilets (my tall friend couldn’t even close the door while sitting). Hotel was amazing! The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was exceptionally clean, well presented and complete with all appliances needed for a self catered week away. Views were incredible from the room and only a short walk away from the slopes. 10/10 would stay here again!

I do not give the place 5 stars. Although the apartment is spacious, room cleanliness was reasonable. Some of the pots and pans are neither clean nor usable. The way to ski is not suitable for beginners. The pool is not heated enough. Toilet paper, bath soap and shampoo should be brought to the apartment. Changing towels once a week. The rooms are small and a bit old. After reception closing time the noise starts. Shouting, singing and screaming in the hall ways. Ski room quite unhandy placed so you need to take two elevators to reach it. Go for Montane for more comfort and quality. The price is the best feature by the way.

Perfect for it's purpose, don't expect 5 stars but expect well equipped self service apartments. The level of finish is good but not great. The staff are friendly, hospitable and helpful. The best part is the location. Directly on the piste if you get the right room.

The perfect ski start but the return, very dangerous with children ... too bad for this price. Otherwise, overall the apartment was great and the service lived up to our expectations. We paid 75 euros for the parking and had difficulty finding a correct place ... results, damaged roof box and knock in the door of our car ... not great for this price.

Not that bad, not too dirty, if you're ok without luxurious, go for it. Good for groups of friends. There's no lockers available, make sure you don't leave values in the baggage room.

Quite good appartments. Windows aren't the last shout, cold air pass through them, but there's sufficient heating in the rooms. We were three and got a room though for four, and really don't know where was the forth person place... As in some web pages the blankets are not included or cost something we got free blankets, and was a surprise because we took ours and not needed then.

Great appartments on the slope. Pretty good value. Ski out, ski in if comfortable on reds, or ski in +50m walk if ok on blues. Studio appartments perfect for 4 for a week.

Great location, with short walk or shuttle bus to join the piste. Skiing directly back takes a short red run that gets quite congested and some stairs that get very icy. Very convenient for ski hire. We have booked an 8 person apartment for 8 people and we really like it. We have 4 bedrooms with 2 beds each and 4 bathrooms. The kitchen is also really for 8 people. We ate cheese fondue in the apartment, where you can borrow the fondue set and the ingredients are delivered for a fee. There is also a good bread service. This apartment is well situated within the Val Thoren village. Ski in and out from the apartment and the space within is fantastic. 3 bedrooms, three bathrooms and 2 separate toilets. A perfect home for a dream holiday in the French Alps.

Very centrally located apartment complex in a high standard for apartments. Several of the apartments have large bedrooms with double beds and private baths, also common rooms with fireplace and cosiness. For the price, though, it's not worth it.
