Waldorf Astoria Versailles - Trianon Palace, Versailles1 / 50

Versailles, 1, Boulevard de la Reine 🧭 Map
I celebrated my birthday with my first-ever trip to Versailles, staying at the Waldorf Astoria, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, I was blown away by the sheer beauty of the hotel and its surroundings. The property feels like an oasis, blending seamlessly with the historic charm of Versailles. Our room had an incredible balcony with stunning views—I spent so much time...
Perfect location—fast and easy walk to the park entrance! Bikes available for rent are nice touch. Service was friendly. Rooms are a bit dated (not like historically charming) but still nice. Small gym for quick workouts. Got free breakfast and upgrade with status. Breakfast buffet was nice and had lots of choices. Could see fireworks from our room!
The property overall is great. Food is delicious from the breakfast buffet to The Bar or Gordon Ramsay restaurant on-site. The hotel offers Hilton Diamond Members personal experiences with a card at check in as well, for instance my family and I got a tour of the Gordon Ramsay kitchen and met the head chef. Location of the property is exceptional as it’s adjacent to the Palace of Versailles and in...
Recently, my family and I stayed at this charming elegant hotel in France during our trip. It was a delightful retreat from the busier cities. The indoor pool, though not as large as expected, was a great place to relax in any weather. Adding a larger outdoor pool could enhance the beauty of the well-maintained surroundings. The peaceful location provided the tranquil getaway we sought. The beautifully...
This would be a 5 star place based on the level of service you receive but the rooms themselves could be better. The AC/heat in our room was broken and all night was 78 degrees. It was so hard to sleep. We couldn’t tell that it wasn’t working until we were already in bed and didn’t want to go through the hassle of moving rooms at midnight. The bed was comfortable and bathroom nice but other than that...
What an amazing stay. We stayed here again for some days and is was excellent. Special thanks to the team from the Bar Galerie for their outstanding service, it was a great pleasure for us to be there. Excellent quality of the offered dishes. We will come back soon.

We had a spacious room. Pleasantly furnished. The best breakfast of our trip to France, while the selection was not big at all, but all the other hotels had a smaller selection. Very close to the main entrance of Château de Versailles (4 minutes on foot), and it couldn't be much closer. Very slow WiFi. It has its own underground parking lot, but it is very narrow, even with a small car it was difficult...
An excellent place! Everything was clean, comfortable and lovely. They have a parking, but it's for 20 euros plus, so if you come on Sunday, it's better to leave your car on the streets (it's free till 9.00 Monday). The hotel is very close to Versailles, just in 5 minutes. We had a junior suite room, the view is good, the bad is king-size, very comfortable, the design of the room is perfect. In...
Nice hotel situated only a 3 minute walk to Versailles Palace. Nice staff, underground parking available at €20 per night just be aware that the pillars in the parking area make parking a bit tricky, also you should try to reserve the parking before you get there as parking is limited. The bedroom was large and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a good range of breakfast foods, meats, croissants...
**Hotel Review: 4 Stars** I stayed at this hotel for business, and overall, it was an excellent experience. The hotel is clean and stylish, with a touch of elegance that reminds me of the Versailles Palace, which is a lovely touch. The room had a TV and some complimentary water, along with a water boiler for making tea or coffee, which was very convenient. However, one major downside was the internet...
Wonderful location, best room we’ve had in Europe, and really nice personnel. Breakfast was a little bit lacking but fantastic coffee. Overall would highly recommend.
I was 8 years old in August 1972 when our family visited for the entire month. My Dad was there for 4 months installing a Sperry Univac computer for a large company with his coworkers. I still remember that trip and how fun it was seeing all the sites. The hotel was great! I've always wanted to visit again. I hope to again some day!

The perfect location for Versailles and the equestrian Olympic events! Extremely accommodating staff going above and beyond for us daily! Good Coffee and breakfast, quiet at night, who can ask for more?
Ideal and quit starting point travelling to the “roaring” Paris city (RER A) Nice local restaurants in the close neighbourhood. Friendly people in the hotel. Good prepared breakfast.
Wonderful time, located straight in the city center, it was super convenient for my spouse and I who tend to prefer walking through town rather than taking transportation. I'll also add we were greeted very warmly, service was top notch. Also loved the old school Versailles esthetic to the breakfast room, and the cute french garden straight in the middle of the courtyard. Rooms are cozy, you get...
Was not sure at first. Was our room a superior room as booked? The staff kept the room really clean and tidy, but the place could do with updating. A bit of paint and new carpets. The fact that it had secure parking (ten euros a night) was a great bonus, rather than leave car on the road. Anyway the location was great. Ten mins to Versailles palace. In middle of great bars, restaurants and amazing...
A great good value place to stay when visiting the Chateau of Versailles (15 minute walk max). The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and there's a car park. The rooms are on the small side but great for a couple of nights. Shower room modern and clean. Good breakfast. Lots of places to eat and socialise just out of the hotel.
Enjoyed our stay here. Good base for moving around Versailles easily. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Comfortable beds, quiet rooms with good sound insulation and very clean. Continental breakfast was good. Excellent value for a hotel with such a good location. A very nice experience overall. Will stay here again when we're next in Versailles.

Novotel Chateau de Versailles
Versailles, 4 Boulevard St Antoine 🧭 Map
Excellent night in Versailles Novotel, the hotel is very modern and comfortable. Parking is available downstairs, the bar area is very pleasant and we were able to walk to the palace, about 15 minutes away.
The hotel is not bad rooms with sofa bed can accommodate 4 adults. The rooms are clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. Underground Parking is normal, check in on a sports car if possible to do it accurate ;) costs 12 euros per night. Of the minuses, Minibar, pay the prices there are just crazy! The room is cool enough, no extra blankets or plaid. As a tank, but could be better.
Because you can dismount and spend the night, but for what this Hotel 4 stars got for me is questionable.
15 min walk to old town. Ok food, eat all you can buffet for 20 euro. Very easy access by car. Staff good.
Very good reception, we arrived our room was not ready, they came to add towels without we ask them during our absence, this is good. The living room is nice, the seating for children is welcome. The buffet breakfast is top-notch. However, the room for 4 is quite small. On the other hand bedding excellent. The deco is nice. Don't expect to be able to park in the underground parking, it is complete...
Close to the castle. Fair to good restaurant - good breakfast choices. Easy to communicate with English. Good parking, but tricky to find the entrance to the underground car park.

Very low noise insulation, cozy rooms and barhroom. Heating not working to heat, room despite not being big was a bit cold and hot shower water would often go vold and hot without change Friendly staff, great location and good breakfast
Nice comfy hotel in terms of location and public transport access. Very helpful for tourists. Breakfast menu doesn't change and washrooms are a bit cramped.
The place is quite difficult to find and parking is no close by the hotel. In fact, it is behind a different hotel which does not have clear markings. You also go to street level 3 buildings away from the hotel and must walk with luggage to the hotel. I am not blaming Ibis for this, except the fact that the signage is poor. The rooms are quite small, this is typical for Europe but not overly small...
I booked this hotel 2 times as it is very well located. Facing the RER C so easy to access from/to Paris. Rooms are functional but small so good enough for a short stay and if you just need to get back after a full day out.
Great location, and really helpful team at the hotel. Breakfast was very good (especially the freshly baked madeleines!) and we will definitely visit again.
Only had lunch at the small cafe/restaurant in the lobby but that was excellent. A very polite and gracious young man served us.

Hotel has been renovated and now goes with the name Le Louis. Reception, Bar, Rooms, everything is up to date.
Rooms are large, well maintained. Friendly staff and very nice breakfast. They have a sauna and a hammam, but unfortunately, no swimming pool.
Ideal for Palace for attending functions. cose to excellent, small local resteraunts . comfortable bed, good size room. bathroom needed a support handle in the shower. The Chandelier was dangerously placed and too low. at times we needed more water ,we asked for more it took 2 days so we had to buy our own. both room and hotel were clean

Visited few months ago- really nice hotel. Close to the town centre, 10 min walk to palace of Versailles, all restaurants just around the corner. Located on a quiet street- staff was mega friendly as well. Would certainly recommend and come back!
Very nice and simple hotel at the heart of Versailles! Staff is super kind and welcoming. Location is very convenient as you're just a walking distance away from many nice shops and restaurants. Not to mention, you can walk to the palace from there! I highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in Versailles. Thank you to the staff for your kindness and warm welcome during our stay here. After hazards and unhealthy AIRNB apartment this NEW hotel is pleased. Knew everything with great walkable distance to major events. A little bit overpriced in the weekends but for one time nd never comeback visit it's OK. It's great place to realize that AIRNB customers service doesn't exist at all and how bad AIRNB is !
Lovely hotel close to everything including the markets and the Palace! Totally walkable. The staff is incredible and so friendly. Just make sure to bring your shampoo and conditioner!🤪
Front desk staff super helpful and friendly! Location fantastic-we were able to walk to Versailles and the rail station. Rooms were basic but clean and prices affordable. Quiet. Only complaint is that the walls are thin and you are able to hear your neighbors.
Brilliant hotel, very clean and whilst it is basic there was nothing more we could have needed. Very central to Versailles and a 15 min walk to the palace. There were lovely English speaking on reception

Had repeated stays on business there. Nice, clean, efficient, not posh, well located. Rooms are small which is fine by me, the bed makes for excellent rest! Staff was very kind and friendly.
Friendly, cosy rooms, special prices for family. Short distance versailles Castle and several restaurants in same street.
Nice hôtel in the center of Versailles. Unlike many other reviewers we didn't find our rooms small; they were average-sized. They were decorated tastefully and had a lot of charm. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, within walking distance of the castle and many restaurants.

Nice little hotel in Versailles. Very old building with a lot of atmosphere. Nice breakfast. I like this place.
Best value hotel we've stated at in an 11 country tour through Europe. Amazing staff, clean rooms, perfect location and half the cost of the competition.
Great location to visit Versailles palace and eat around. Charming hotel with visible wooden beams in the bedroom. Room was small but perfectly functional.

The location is excellent for visiting Chateau Versailles with it being right down the street. Also a short walk from the Rive train station. The rooms were very clean and quiet. The front desk personnel were very professional and friendly.
This hotel seems pretty tired. The physical nature of the property could use some attention & sprucing up. And whoever manages/directs the remodel ought to be someone who understands that doing something cheaply isn't necessarily better.
We absolutely love this little hotel! After getting stranded in Versailles because of a snafu with our rental car the Roy was so helpful and kind. Their staff are great and go above and beyond in help you. The hotel it's self is clean and very cute! It is a short walk from Versailles and is surrounded by wonderful shops and restaurants. We will definitely be staying here again.
I needed a room for one night as was attending a wedding in a nearby venue and wanted to find a friendly independent hotel i.e not a big chain. Excellent location with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are very clean and the hotel is animal friendly; even my cat felt very at home. Standard hotel breakfast can be had, and they offer espresso at any time of day! The water pressure in the shower was very low; which would be my only critique. Highly recommend for quality to price value.
Rooms small and old, got bitten a whole lot, real nasty, over night (bedbugs? hotel said no, hard to tell, we were lucky to not bring any). Ok breakfast, nice concierge. Very central (chateau, restaurants). Parking (public only, pay-by-hour, overnight free) closeby.

Perfect location at a stone throw from Chateau Versailles gates. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and we were given a charming room with bathtub and a French balcony. The decor and location are to fall in love with. Will definitely return here again!
Hotel de France exceeded my expectations. Super friendly helpful staff specially Marina. The location is absolutely the best if you want to visit Palace of Versailles, the Equestrian Academie, town, cathedral, etc. I am literally a 1 minute walk to the gate of the palace. The dinner is superb. The breakfast needs more variety but hey, that's not what I came here for. It's a 3 star hotel so better not...
My first time, my first hotel in Europe. Who knew it would be a highlight visit? Amazing ambience. Clean, wonderful room and bathroom. My sons and I just fell in love with this area. We had the most magical weekend during our stay at this hotel. All of the staff were exceptionally polite, even when I emailed them before our visit to request a quiet room overlooking the courtyard. A small and quaint hotel stay right next to the Palace. Small but handy rooms with everything you need, extremely friendly staff who were really accommodating. A nice bar/food area at the back of the hotel too, which is unpretentious and relaxing at night. Location is of course excellent and one of the main benefits. Would highly recommend!
A perfect location we stayed at during the Paris 2024 Olympics. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly upon arrival and throughout our stay there. Excellent hotel. Very comfortable, friendly staff with good English and very helpful. Clean, comfortable rooms refreshed everyday. Check in/out efficient. Lovely breakfast. Room layout very good and shower was fantastic. Excellent location as 5 minutes from Palace and only 10 minutes walk to station so excellent access with direct train to Paris. Can’t recommend highly enough. Many thanks
Pros: The location is absolutely fantastic, only a 5 minute walk from Versailles. We had a change of plan and had to check in after midnight and they were absolutely fine with that. Our room was very quiet and clean. Cons, our room was pretty small for the price of 250 euros, our room smelt very musty, no aircon (but a fan was provided).
A lovely hotel in a brilliant location from which to explore the history and beauty of Versailles. This is a small hotel but the facilities were very good and it was beautifully decorated and had a laid back charm. Breakfast in the yurt was good! You can reach every major cultural and historical attraction within minutes of the hotel. An excellent base from which to explore.
Very central hotel in a lovely quarter of Versailles, walking distance to the Palace, the hotel has well appointed rooms with comfy beds, and a lovely common area with outdoor and indoor space. My teenage kids appreciated the salon with “games” like table football and chess. The staff was very friendly. Free croissants and pain au chocolat at reception was an added plus! Highly recommended.
Lovely breakfast, good coffee Everything was excellent. Spacious room, everything in order The hotel is kept to a high standard of cleanliness, the courtyard was tidy and beautifully maintained. Very helpful and warm staff, you didn’t feel like they were working. They seemed like genuinely lovely people who had time for you. Stored luggage for us free of charge before and after our stay.

Beds are cozy, shower is great, and rooms are very soundproof. Convenient to grocery stores, laundromat, and train. Walking distance to Versailles and nice shopping. A little refrigerator would be nice. Highly recommend.
A decent hotel, for the price and decor I would expect a little bit more from the room. There was a shall balcony which was nice. However no tea, coffee or even drinking water in the room. The bathroom was very small I don't need a lot of space but you could barely turn around. Good water pressure in the room though.
Nice and clean hotel. New furniture, breakfast ok(not excellent).... Great and ultra fast WiFi on room.. I could watch Netflix..
One of the best hotel I stayed in Versailles. Location is very good. Just opposite to Versailles Chainters Railway station. You have a Franprix super market just closer. In room services are basic but completely adequate. We chose this hotel for a visit to the palace and for that it's perfect! Room was clean, location is quiet. Just be aware that parking on the street is sparse, we used the suggested paid for car park at the Cathedral, also convenient if pre-booked. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
One of the best places one can find .Prime Center. It's a 1.5 km walk from Gare de Versailles station and 5 mins walk to the palace. The next street has all the more amazing restaurants. The place is tidy, warm and small compact rooms. They help you with the double beds. The buffet comes at an additional cost but is a lavish one. Staffs are always available and they speak in English.
Perfectly located for Palace of Versailles! We chose this hotel for our stay during the Paris Olympics Dressage and were pleased we did so. The hotel is old And the rooms are old as it is. Shower are very small. Breakfast is elementary but the service was really nice
This is a quaint hotel SO close to the palace!! It was perfect for my no-fuss sister and me. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful - they helped take our suitcase up the spiral staircase! The breakfast spread was delicious. They even made me a mocha latte when I asked. The room was small and the carpet seemed outdated, but it seemed clean and I also saw someone cleaning.
I stayed twice within a week. Staff were all helpful and very friendly . Great location . Level of cleanliness in rooms not great . Horrible stained carpets. Rooms were stiflingly hot - not their fault as they are not allowed to install aircon. But be aware if there’s a heatwave . I would stay again if the rooms were cleaner.

Excellent service in this hotel. Ideal location for ease of visiting the palace. And perfect location right in the heart of the small town of Versailles with many cafes. Just wish they had a coffee maker in the room.
Very pleased with what we got. Simple but pleasant rooms, ideal for a few days exploring Versailles, but probably not if you like staying in your room all day. Excellent and cordial service
Great location, you can't bet it. I only stayed two nights but I found the staff very kind, especially the women whom I interacted with the most. I found her very helpful on what to do when I showed up and it was raining out! Rooms are what you are paying for but they are very clean!
A budget hotel in a very expensive city. 5 Star location. Rooms are basic but extremely clean and the staff is on site and available. Parking nearby - ask the hotel owners.
