Excellent service in this hotel. Ideal location for ease of visiting the palace. And perfect location right in the heart of the small town of Versailles with many cafes. Just wish they had a coffee maker in the room.

Great location, you can't bet it. I only stayed two nights but I found the staff very kind, especially the women whom I interacted with the most. I found her very helpful on what to do when I showed up and it was raining out! Rooms are what you are paying for but they are very clean!

The hotel is lovely, very good location and near lots of nice restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the train station and 10 minute walk to the palace of Versailles. Cannot beat this price to quality ratio. Also the service was quite warm and spoke english without issues. Solo room had a small bathroom with shower that did the job. Wi-Fi was super fast.

This would be a 5 star place based on the level of service you receive but the rooms themselves could be better. The AC/heat in our room was broken and all night was 78 degrees. It was so hard to sleep. We couldn’t tell that it wasn’t working until we were already in bed and didn’t want to go through the hassle of moving rooms at midnight. Rooms are large, well maintained. Friendly staff and very nice breakfast. They have a sauna and a hammam, but unfortunately, no swimming pool.

This is a quaint hotel SO close to the palace!! It was perfect for my no-fuss sister and me. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful - they helped take our suitcase up the spiral staircase! The breakfast spread was delicious. They even made me a mocha latte when I asked. The room was small and the carpet seemed outdated, but it seemed clean and I also saw someone cleaning.

I stayed twice within a week. Staff were all helpful and very friendly . Great location . Level of cleanliness in rooms not great . Horrible stained carpets. Rooms were stiflingly hot - not their fault as they are not allowed to install aircon. But be aware if there’s a heatwave . I would stay again if the rooms were cleaner.

Rooms are quite tight and very hot. The floor did not appear vacuumed upon arrival. Main gripe was the bathroom however; the toilet is incredibly difficult to flush, actually resulting in continuing pain and finger blisters! We stopped here for a day adventure at Versailles. Very close to the opening of the palace and garden grounds . We were able to find parking which is free on Sundays, close by. Bed was comfortable and the room quiet. A few short blocks from eateries and the charms of the city. Stairs only to get to rooms and has a breakfast if you would like.

Spacious rooms, modern bathrooms, and a great location: the palace of Versailles is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and gave us suggestions on where to eat. Would recommend 10 times out of 10.

Excellent night in Versailles Novotel, the hotel is very modern and comfortable. Parking is available downstairs, the bar area is very pleasant and we were able to walk to the palace, about 15 minutes away.

The hotel is not bad rooms with sofa bed can accommodate 4 adults. The rooms are clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. Underground Parking is normal, check in on a sports car if possible to do it accurate ;) costs 12 euros per night. Of the minuses, Minibar, pay the prices there are just crazy! The room is cool enough, no extra blankets or plaid. As a tank, but could be better.

I was 8 years old in August 1972 when our family visited for the entire month. My Dad was there for 4 months installing a Sperry Univac computer for a large company with his coworkers. Pros: The location is absolutely fantastic, only a 5 minute walk from Versailles. We had a change of plan and had to check in after midnight and they were absolutely fine with that. Our room was very quiet and clean. Cons, our room was pretty small for the price of 250 euros, our room smelt very musty, no aircon (but a fan was provided).

A lovely hotel in a brilliant location from which to explore the history and beauty of Versailles. This is a small hotel but the facilities were very good and it was beautifully decorated and had a laid back charm. Breakfast in the yurt was good! You can reach every major cultural and historical attraction within minutes of the hotel. An excellent base from which to explore.

Very central hotel in a lovely quarter of Versailles, walking distance to the Palace, the hotel has well appointed rooms with comfy beds, and a lovely common area with outdoor and indoor space. A great good value place to stay when visiting the Chateau of Versailles (15 minute walk max). The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and there's a car park. A decent hotel, for the price and decor I would expect a little bit more from the room. There was a shall balcony which was nice. However no tea, coffee or even drinking water in the room. The bathroom was very small I don't need a lot of space but you could barely turn around. Good water pressure in the room though.

The hotel has been/is being remodeled and the rooms are very nice and tidy. No space is wasted, and I appreciated that. The place is quite difficult to find and parking is no close by the hotel. In fact, it is behind a different hotel which does not have clear markings. You also go to street level 3 buildings away from the hotel and must walk with luggage to the hotel. I am not blaming Ibis for this, except the fact that the signage is poor. I booked this hotel 2 times as it is very well located. Facing the RER C so easy to access from/to Paris. Rooms are functional but small so good enough for a short stay and if you just need to get back after a full day out.
