Le Louis Hotel Versailles Château - MGallery Collection
Versailles, 2 bis Avenue de Paris 🧭 Map
Excellent stay, high quality room, great breakfast
Excellent food! Good service! Very clean.
Some small down points:
Uncomfortable air courant, from lobby to the breakfast and outdoor garden facilities.
Coffee machines might be of a better quality. Often remediations are required.
Lay-out of the breakfast area is not very brightly imagined.
Amazing location between train station and Versailles palace gates - perfect for staying overnight. Lovely breakfast spread but not many vegan options other than fruit and toast. Large bathroom and good views from balcony. Air con didn’t seems to be working efficiently - took a long time to cool room down.
Overall, IT WAS A CLEAR LACK OF RESPECT.
I booked two nights at Le Louis. During my check-in at 10:30 pm, I was mistakenly upgraded. By 10:50 pm, I was taking a shower when a staff member knocked on the door, planning to relocate me to the correct room. Given the situation, he left, but his colleagues called me five minutes later, saying that they could not accommodate the upgrade and that I should...
Great staff, clean, and very convenient location. Close to train station and right down the street from the Palace of Versailles. Perfect place to stay in Versailles!
Good hotel ar great location
Good service
Satisfied
Breakfast was good but not excellent
Ideal for Palace for attending functions. cose to excellent, small local resteraunts . comfortable bed, good size room. bathroom needed a support handle in the shower. The Chandelier was dangerously placed and too low. at times we needed more water ,we asked for more it took 2 days so we had to buy our own. both room and hotel were clean

The Waldorf in Versailles, a charming hotel nestled just outside Paris, offers a delightful stay. During my recent return visit, I was pleasantly surprised by a room upgrade to a spacious junior suite, a thoughtful gesture that appreciated my diamond status. The room and bathroom were generously sized, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay.
A highlight of my stay was the new swimming pool area...
A heaven of wellbeing just 30min from Paris! I had an amazing stay at the Trianon Palace Versailles: room was big and clean, team members went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, food was amazingly good. Not forgetting to mention the swimming pool! All in all I had a wonderfully restful stay!
Mixed experience, Reception team, Spa/Pool team & breakfast team all amazing. Room in the Palace just perfect. The issue we found was that the bar and restaurant teams are not attentive and seem to actively want to not serve people. Waited 15 minutes to attempt to order as drink ended up walking out. 2nd occasion sat at table and then not served for 20 minutes.
Definitely had charm of a palace and loved the location. When we were there, the weather was unusually HOT (close to 100F) so AC on the fifth floor was barely keeping up. We asked the room service lady for additional room fans and she went on an adventure to get it. Overall enjoyed our stay.
The price is very good, the price at the hotel front desk is half the price. The hotel is very quiet and close to the Palace of Versailles. The surrounding area is suitable for walking and there are some shops to visit.
Had a great experience at this hotel. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Don’t miss delicious breakfast buffet. Solid lunch options at La Veranda restaurant. I liked the beef tartare & scallops
Hotel location is right next to one of the gates to the gardens and also about a 5-10min walk to the main avenue for shopping and dining.

The room was very good, but the cleaning staff took something I left on the table. I recommend putting away all your belongings, valuable or not, before heading out.
Excellent hotel! The breakfast spread was fantastic, and the hotel was very clean. The gentleman at the front desk was super nice. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Palace of Versailles.
Special thanks to the Trip.com customer service agent who was incredibly proactive and enthusiastic in helping me resolve an issue with the hotel.
The staff provided excellent service, I highly recommend them. However, there was an issue with the air conditioning.
The location is super convenient, really close to the Palace of Versailles, and the surroundings are very peaceful. Overall, it's a comfortable hotel with high standards. I was on a business trip this time, so it felt a bit far from the city center for me. However, if you're bringing family for a vacation, it would be an excellent choice. The breakfast was also good and quite extensive, I was very...
Staff was excellent. Hotel was clean and contemporary. Exceeded expectations.
A charming French-style hotel near the Palace of Versailles. Being part of a global hotel chain, it boasts high standardization. The facilities, hygiene, and breakfast all met expectations. Very good.

location is super close to Versailles chateau
Breakfast is good but same everyday
Room small but clean
Great hotel in a very good location. Close to cafes and a Major train station. Short walking distance from the Palace of Versailles. Great rooms with the best beds for a great night sleep. Rooms are a good size.
Convenient location, friendly staff. The room is tiny, but perfect for a couple of nights.
Perfect location, friendly staff, room of just the right size.
The room was a bit small, and the elevator was crowded in the morning. The location was fantastic, close to the palace and easy access to Paris. Otherwise, everything was fine.
Very central, everything was fine, room quite small but otherwise everything was good.

The rooms in France are small, but it's acceptable.
It's not far from palace of Versailles it's a super neat accomodation.
Hotel located in a strategic area for those planning to visit the Royal Palace. Good continental buffet breakfast.
The breakfast is a bit simple. It is really close to the Palace of Versailles. The front desk is very friendly and even spoke a few words of Chinese to me. He said he knows a few words. So cute.
The hotel is in a great location! Five minutes walk to the Palace of Versailles
Breakfast time is 6:30, the earliest I have ever stayed in a European hotel, and it tastes pretty good.
The room is large, but the bathroom is too small and cannot accommodate two people at the same time.
We had a spacious room.
Pleasantly furnished.
The best breakfast of our trip to France, while the selection was not big at all, but all the other hotels had a smaller selection.
Very close to the main entrance of Château de Versailles (4 minutes on foot), and it couldn't be much closer.
Very slow WiFi.
It has its own underground parking lot, but it is very narrow, even with a small car it was difficult...

Very well-located hotel, next to the Chantiers train station.
Clean room and attentive staff.
Rooms were decent , had a great view to the stations and the cafes. Has big beautiful windows that open up to the street view.
We got tickets to the Versailles palace from them and it was way cheaper than what you see on those third party site. And we didn’t have to wait in line with their tickets.
We had an excellent stay at the hotel & this is our second time to stay in this hotel within 2 years. The service was excellent. The breakfast area was excellent with the variety of choices. The hostess Mrs. Nadia was an angle, since we drink Turkish Coffee after breakfast & we had coffee with us she was very helpful to do it for us as per our way, thank you Nadia for being very attentive to our needs...
Great hotel very close to the train station. The gentleman at the desk is very helpful and kind. We didn’t have breakfast but it looked nice when we went up for a coffee. Highly recommend staying here.
This was a perfect hotel. It was so close to the train station, shops and restaurants, and this bus stop if you didn't fancy a 15min walk to the palace and town centre. The rooms and breakfast were lovely but the best thing was the service. Gilles went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, both when we first arrived early while our room was being cleaned and after when I left a book in my room...
Really good value and perfect location for a weekend at Versailles - just opposite the station so you can leave your bags at the hotel and a 15/20 minute walk from the chateau. The welcome was lovely - staff were polite and helpful. The rooms were a good size, nicely decorated, clean and with comfy beds. Our rooms overlooked the side street and were very quiet. We didn't take the breakfast as...

A nice simple little hotel very close to the chateau, the marketplace, train station and pub street. Recommended.
No parking even close
Staircase very narrow and steep
Had to hold a shower head to use it
Quiet, pretty, comfortable hotel close to the train station, the palace, and great dining options. The people running the place were very helpful as well. I’d definitely stay here again.
Very helpful and nice staff, nice location (only 7-8 min walk to my group tour meetup point). The room is decent, just be aware no air-conditioning, just a fan, and small shower space.
Great location, great staff, very unique. Would definitely recommend.
A nice and convenient place to take train and Versailles. There’s some nice eateries around too. Recommended!

15 minute walk to the palace. Lots of restaurants. Booked parking ahead which is very secure. There is a self laundry 30 meters from the hotel. Everything was great and very clean.
This was a great, inexpensive hotel in Versailles. I highly recommend it for anyone traveling there that wants to stay within walking distance. Many great places to eat nearby.
Stayed overnight to visit the main attraction: Chateau Versailles. The hotel is well located along a quiet street with great selection of restaurants nearby. It is modern, clean and comfortable. And great value.
Rooms are very small. One needs to order the parking in the Garage. No parking around the Hotel
Great location
A warm welcome and wonderful staff .
Bedroom was a good size, the bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast had a good selection and there was water to refill your bottle if you wanted.
Great location , close to the palace, lol ads if restaurants ad train stations.
A small glitch with the shower but it was put directly on the list to fix.
It's a small hotel but a great experience. Very close to Versailles.

Versailles, 2 bis rue de Fontenay 🧭 Map
Nice hotel with amazing location, 2-5 min from the castle, with very affordable prices. The room I had (triple one) was just wow, I would say it’s more like a studio with a chimney. Small details like journals, paintings made an ambiance as well. And the bed… I slept like a princess, soooo comfortable! Strongly recommend! Thank you for hospitality!
Great stay! Rooms seems to be renovated recently and very comfortable and beautiful.
That was a nice stay in this hotel. We could take some good rest.
It's very close to the Palace of Versailles. The sanitation is OK. There is no elevator, so the waiter helped me carry the luggage upstairs.
Nice trip and good service enjoyed so much
In room services are basic but completely adequate. We chose this hotel for a visit to the palace and for that it's perfect!
Room was clean, location is quiet. Just be aware that parking on the street is sparse, we used the suggested paid for car park at the Cathedral, also convenient if pre-booked.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Nice hotel situated in front of the royal garden. Very friendly and helpful personnel. I did not have time for a breakfast (which was not included), but the lady at the reception proposed me a bottle of water. The room itself is ok with spacious bathroom. There is a kettle, but you need to find it (in the wardrobe), and the socket is down on the floor, which is not that convenient. The TV had a very...
Very average hotel with limited amenities.
Neat and tidy, clean, comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location, basically steps from Versailles and right in the beautiful town of Versailles. We didn’t expect to love the town so much and are very happy to have made the decision to spend our last 2 nights in Europe in Versailles, highly recommended and this hotel is a great place to stay while doing so!
Perfect in a quiet street close to everything. The rooms are very clean, the common areas are very nice.
Very pleasant hotel for myself and my husband. We visited for one night. Close/ walking distance for all you need to see. Very helpful on the front desk and we're happy to answer all questions. Small double room but all we needed was provided.
Receptionist ensured we had supplied for our long drive when checking out offered coffee/ water. Highly recommend for a couple of nights!
Pleasantly surprised by how lovely this place is for a 3 star hotel… Close by to the station and the palace itself , surrounded by great restaurants and cafes. The rooms were modern with everything you could wish. All of the staff were most helpful .. We would definitely stay here again without a doubt.

Expensive hotel which could do with a bit of TLC!
Reception was a delightful process, welcome from the start. The room was spacious n clean.
Cannot fault the property!
Great location for visiting Versailles Palace. Very quiet and nice staff. The breakfast was very nice.
The location was great for walking just about everywhere, including the back door to the gardens at Versailles. There were plenty of good restaurants nearby. I did not succeed in finding a good cup of coffee, but that’s okay, I survived!
Great location next to market square with parking
Great location and okay enough room for a night! They could spend a little bit of money decorating and it would lift it!
The staff was very courteous and helpful. We arrived late at night, after a very long drive, and we are so thankful the attendant was there to open the gate and help us to our room.
The room was comfortable, we were able to open the window to allow cool air in.
The lobby and breakfast area of the hotel was very clean and organized.

It's OK. There are Chinese food nearby, such as Guilin rice noodles, fried rice noodles, pearl milk tea, and you can go to Versailles for free.
The location is very good, about a 5-minute walk to the Palace of Versailles and very close to the train station, about a 5-minute walk. The front desk is very welcoming. They can store your luggage after you leave the hotel and provide free coffee while you wait to pick up your luggage.
The location is excellent for visiting Chateau Versailles with it being right down the street. Also a short walk from the Rive train station. The rooms were very clean and quiet. The front desk personnel were very professional and friendly.
This hotel seems pretty tired. The physical nature of the property could use some attention & sprucing up. And whoever manages/directs the remodel ought to be someone who understands that doing something cheaply isn't necessarily better.
We absolutely love this little hotel! After getting stranded in Versailles because of a snafu with our rental car the Roy was so helpful and kind. Their staff are great and go above and beyond in help you. The hotel it's self is clean and very cute! It is a short walk from Versailles and is surrounded by wonderful shops and restaurants. We will definitely be staying here again.
I needed a room for one night as was attending a wedding in a nearby venue and wanted to find a friendly independent hotel i.e not a big chain. The room was very clean and the staff were all very kind. It was also more than twice as spacious as the one in Paris. I wanted to stay there for about a month. I highly recommend it.
I can truly recommend this place. Very suitable apartments, well located. Parking is a challenge, but once you make a few laps you can find something for free until morning. If you want to pay, there's no issue; there are a lot of options.
Cute small hotel. Perfect for visiting the Palace and close to many eating spots. The staff here was so friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. Rooms are small, but have everything you need.
Charming and comfortable boutique hotel, located within three minutes’ walk of the Palace of Versailles, with plenty of great bars and restaurants on its doorstep. The only drawback is there’s no A/C, apart from a desktop fan. As summers get hotter and hotter in Paris, keep that in mind when booking. Historical note: Having stayed here fifty years ago with my parents, I know it’s one of the oldest...
The employees at the hotel were lovely. The hotel manager, Anthony, was very sweet and courteous. I enjoyed a great conversation with him during check-out.
There is no A/C but the location is very close to the Versailles Palace. Thank you for a memorable stay!
Great location (close to Versailles). Person behind the desk was friendly. Our room was neat and smelled nice (a bit too perfumey- but okay - tastes differ ;) ). We had a room with bathroom which was nice. Unfortunately, there is no ventilation possible in the bathroom area, so we had to air out the bathroom through the room windows (which the mosquitoes loved). We could have some tea and Nescafé in...

Perfect location at a stone throw from Chateau Versailles gates. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and we were given a charming room with bathtub and a French balcony. The decor and location are to fall in love with. Will definitely return here again!
Hotel de France exceeded my expectations. Super friendly helpful staff specially Marina. The location is absolutely the best if you want to visit Palace of Versailles, the Equestrian Academie, town, cathedral, etc. I am literally a 1 minute walk to the gate of the palace. The dinner is superb. The breakfast needs more variety but hey, that's not what I came here for. It's a 3 star hotel so better not...

My first time, my first hotel in Europe. Who knew it would be a highlight visit? Amazing ambience. Clean, wonderful room and bathroom. My sons and I just fell in love with this area. At night might even be more wonderful than during the day. Totally...
We had the most magical weekend during our stay at this hotel.
All of the staff were exceptionally polite, even when I emailed them before our visit to request a quiet room overlooking the courtyard. The owner was very warm and welcoming, and even gave us a mini tour of the older parts of the hotel which some of the Palace rooms were based on.

I stayed here as a female solo traveller! The front desk staff was friendly and greeted me in Japanese. It was close to the station and about a 15 minute walk to the Palace of Versailles. The area around Versailles was relaxing and comfortable.
