Excellent service in this hotel. Ideal location for ease of visiting the palace. And perfect location right in the heart of the small town of Versailles with many cafes.

Very pleased with what we got. Simple but pleasant rooms, ideal for a few days exploring Versailles, but probably not if you like staying in your room all day. Excellent and cordial service

Great location, you can't bet it. I only stayed two nights but I found the staff very kind, especially the women whom I interacted with the most. I found her very helpful on what to do when I showed up and it was raining out! Rooms are what you are paying for but they are very clean!

A budget hotel in a very expensive city. 5 Star location. Rooms are basic but extremely clean and the staff is on site and available. Parking nearby - ask the hotel owners. While helpful and polite the couple who operate (and possibly own the hotel) are just a bit too particular for us. But we would stay here again and the location could not be better. The little neighborhood around this hotel is a delight. Visit Restaurant 17.37 (Yes the name is a number). Small supermarket across the street and pharmacy almost next door.

We stayed at the Royal Hotel Versailles for 4 nights. The hotel is lovely, very good location and near lots of nice restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the train station and 10 minute walk to the palace of Versailles. The staff were lovely and very friendly. There was a good choice of breakfast items and the hotel was clean, and quiet in the evenings. Would definitely stay here again and we loved exploring the town of Versailles, perfect for a 3 - 5 day visit.

I will give 5 stars not because is a five star hotel but because probably they are far better then other properties around for the same money.
We had a twin room which had two small double beds, a fridge and the shower was big and spacious.
We weren't impressed with the breakfast but there is no point having breakfast at the hotel when you have amazing bakeries at your doorstep.
We will definitely return, thank you to the receptionists for keeping our luggage we greatly appreciate it.

Cannot beat this price to quality ratio. Also the service was quite warm and spoke english without issues. Solo room had a small bathroom with shower that did the job. Wi-Fi was super fast.

Great customer service. The manager went above and beyond in helping me to understand what was happening with construction on the Metro. The hotel is up to date, immaculate, and well appointed.

It was nice three star hotel, wasn't that bad in cleaning and service. However, I just had a bad experience so thought to leave it here. I booked over the phone in the morning I stayed, and they didn't send the booking confirmation email. Later on I called to find out saying I will be very late so worried for my stay without booking confirmation. The staff said it's 24h open so there's no issue and I am all booked. I drove from Mont Saint-Michel and got to be the next morning 7am. The room was already taken out and they charged me saying it's their policy after the midnight. I requested the refund to the manager by email later as he was absent at the moment, claiming there was no notice even when I got to call them again and they made the money from another guest anyway while we lost our room. They should take responsibility for their mistake and miscommunication. I emailed again with evidence of my claim to the manager's reply after a month, but so far haven't heard from them. Such an overcharge out of common sense.

Great location for the Palace of Versailles. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Speak excellent English. Superb breakfast.
However the rooms are a little dated and the location is noisy esp in the summer months as you need to have the windows open due to no airconditioning.
