The rooms are unusually spacious, much above the average and the beds are super comfortable for a good night's sleep

Honestly, of the best dining experiences in Crete! The fish soup, the meat and souvlaki, the salads, the bread that is made is the hotel, the fruits and desserts, all were off the scale yummy! If we had stayed there any longer we would need to go on a diet ;) The staff was also extremely kind, giving a sense of original Greek hospitality without being pretentious

10/10 experience! Just for your holiday plannings: the beach is really close and lovely, just make sure to take swim shoes with you - the pebble sand gets extremely hot and the sea bottom itself is very rocky 😊nothing to do with the hotel but good to know

The rooms are spacious and comfortable and modern. Some even have a private pool as you can see in the picture. One of the best things about the hotel is attention to detail and constant improvement

The hotel has a great view! The room was very nice and comfortable for 5 people (2 +3 kids ). The location are super close to a lot of restaurants .and the stuff was kind and helpful. We enjoyed everything

When we returned to hotel they brought our luggages in the room and offered us a bottle of water. The room was very good, large and with a very beatifull toilete (with a not leaking and very big shower!)

The breakfast was so generous and delicious with a vast array of choices including delicious large omelettes. Ideal location perched up on the cliff between the beach and the town, only a 10 minute walk either way

There are also 3 small swimming pools accessible for all the customers, with however rather few parasols (under 32°C it is hot!), except for the swimming pool located at the level of the reception, certainly small but very well equipped and very pleasant to read a little

The breakfast is just splendid! A multitude of sweet and salty dishes, home-made and which change every day, enough to please everyone. The service is perfect and the welcome very warm

An awesome place, we went here 4 years ago, and we came back in the same place cause it has good services, good food, a great view and for the great hospitality.

Con Road that leads to it is mountain road. Pros Road is beautiful passing olive groves and gorge and villages. Good base to moderate hike to Palm beach. Palm Beach is worth the visit

YoI will need to bring your Beach gear. Taverna is there but no lounges. Hike to the Palm Beach in the morning come back to the Alexander Beach around lunch

I like everything there: the rooms, the breakfast, the garden, the hospitality of Olimpios (the owner of the hotel), the swimming pool

If you are lucky enough your afternoon around the magnificent pool will enchanted by Olympios mandoline and songs. Breakfast are following a tight schedule but the food quality is premium

It is visited by many frequent customers who fell in love with the place and other 'de passage' who comes for a couple of night

I've stayed at this hotel three times. It is my favorite hotel on the island of Crete

Breakfast is simple but enjoyable, with tables outside in the garden area. We did not tested dinner; the buffet was small. Matala beach is close, well equipped, not too crowed at beginning of the season (end May)

Until hotel management act, if you’re still planning to stay here and if you care about these animals, help: feed them discretely/sign on-line survey to authorities/donate to Creta association/adopt and/or continue lobbying hotel management

The current situation of hungry, unsterilized cats leads to overpopulation and suffering. This is causing distress both to the animals and to guests

As already identified multiple time in previous evaluation, there are many stray cats in/ around the hotel, most clearly in need for food and care

The hotel management should organise sterilization and sufficient feeding stations. They are quiet and nice cats; many are/could be domestic ones

Stray cats are everywhere in Creta; I did only see worst in Cyprus with mistreatment and dying cats. Greece is worse than Africa on this topic

We had a very nice stay, it’s a family hotel with great food and atmosphere, definitely we will be coming back.

Nothing to say about the cleanliness of the rooms and the bathroom The swimming pool is good and it There are shaded corners. The staff is discreet and friendly. It's not the factory because there aren't too many rooms

If you are looking for a hotel with a great restaurant, don't go there because the cuisine is "basic"

Tasty breakfast with many options, good location, easy and free parking. The big dog that wanders at the hotel reception can be bit scary but he was calm and obeyed the owner. There was a fridge in the room.

I've just returned from a wonderful stay at the Alianthos Beach Hotel/Anthos Apartments. I have visited this family run hotel a number of times over the past 15 years and it never disappoints

Plakias is not a party resort, but there are plenty of bars and tavernas all along the lovely promenade, providing a great evening out

Our transfers organised by the hotel were smooth. We will definitely return and would recommend this hotel and the resort of Plakias

We spent 10 wonderful days in this charming and peaceful hotel. Furniture is made of beautiful wood which is relaxing! Swimming pool has 1 area for children and 1 area to swim. Beach and shops are only 150 meters away

The most amazing hotel in Plakias! A true gem! Built in 2018 the rooms still have a “new feeling” with modern decor in white and light wood colours! The rooms and spotless and the staff are super friendly

Very comfortable hotel in Plakias. It is very close to the center and to a beautiful beach. The rooms are very good. The staff is nice and the hotel has a car park

Amazing hotel on the west side of Plakias, close to the center, opposite the beach with a stunning view of the Libyan Sea. Spacious and spotlessly clean rooms make the stay at the hotel enjoyable

Large rooms, very clean, good size pool. Close to nice taverns and the long sandy beach. Rooms in the back are more quiet ( far away from the pool) as the sound proof is not that good

Had an excellent stay at the Apollon Hotel. Very friendly, clean and relaxing

Bed is very hard. Pool very good,but some put towels out in the morning and don't use the sun loungers until later in the day. This shouldn't be allowed. Good pool bar.rooms are good n big. Aircon is 6 Euro a day.

Staff were great, Maria, jack and Clarissa (who did try to teach us Greek) only did learn yamass 😄 pool area was quite, which we liked however think that was just with covid. Met lots of nice people during our stay

The hotel is located right by the sea and it is a good location as it is not far from popular tourist attractions. The woman who cleaned the rooms every morning, was always smiling and she was nice to us

You can swim in the sea and in the pool whenever you want, you don’t have to choose one of them. Also, we really enjoyed playing table tennis (to balance the new kilos due to the buffet)

Beach is not as good as expected, yes above waterline sand, but in water stony, rocky and partly bedrock

The room is appropriate, the hotel is nice, the staff is friendly, the food is very delicious. The bus stops are in front of the hotel, this way public transport is easy

The all inclusive was worth it!! Marinos is the best bartender and a good new friend! We will go back

Best thing was the pool and the pool bar so pretty and clean. Plenty of sun beds and shaded area if needed. Staff were amazing so helpful. All in all a good very Greek all inclusive hotel

Everything was perfect the room was clean and nice, our bed was also comfortable, the food was amazing but my favourite part was the bar with the bartender marinos he made good cocktails and he became our friend also! We recommend this hotel and we will go back!

Nice place it has 5 pools, good food but bad wifi connection. In the evening it is quite impossible to have internet connection. There is pool bar all day and in the evening also. Every evening there is a show
