I truly recomand this hotel!
The food is really tasty, especially the sweets. The rooms have AC and the towels are changed daily.
The pool is near to the beach, also it includes a bar. You can swim in the sea and in the pool whenever you want, you don’t have to choose one of them.
Also, we really enjoyed playing table tennis (to balance the new kilos due to the buffet).

Not a 5 star! The hot Food was Cold, And not much selection. Staff seemed grumpy except a few waiting staff. Lacked communication. Tatty sunbeds. The only thing good about this hotel was the beach and clean rooms.

This an amazing place to which i hope to return many times.The warm friendly service,the beautiful hotel with all the modern conveniences provided such a wonderful place to relax and soak in some delightful Greek culture.
I looked forward to my delicious coffe and breakfast every morning and for a superb dinner in the evening.This is a place where I could sit for hours with the soft sumptuous light feeling the room and with beautiful view of the balkonies.
While the hotel is so beautiful,it's the staff that really made our visit so memorable.
We were made to feel like family.
So well cared for in every way.
Each staff member went above and beyond to make us comfortable and look after our many needs.

I cant say enough about their down-to earth,yet proffessional service.
I trully felt at home at White Olive Elite Hotel.

The food was almost the same every day. Unfortunately it was tasteless. In fact, we only enjoyed something a few times throughout the 10 nights. Apart from that the room was clean and really nice. The hotel is located right by the sea and it is a good location as it is not far from popular tourist attractions. The woman who cleaned the rooms every morning, was always smiling and she was nice to us. If you don't care about delicious hotel food, I recommend this place. Places close to the hotel serve delicious food. On the private balcony with a pool there was a big circle on the side wall. It was weird and uncomfortable because people from sides could easily look thru. Sorry for the mess on the pictures but we were just about to leave the hotel.

We had a family vacation in Greece on the island of Crete, choosing the White olive elite rethymno 5* hotel. It was a great choice because it fully met our expectations. The hotel has exceptional service, the waiters work great, the food was beyond praise, the pool is clean, the sea is clean, the entry into the water is smooth, the water is blue, the sandy beach is clean. You can only dream of this! There were enough sun loungers, but it is better to come to the beach no later than 9 am, then you can definitely find a place. Everything was great, I don’t understand the negative reviews, because everything is great in this hotel! I recommend 10/10

A 5*+ rated hotel. Starting from the first contact with the reception staff you already understand that customers are in the first place. Very responsive, understanding and very kind. The diverse and very tasty food, prepared with taste, something you don't find in all hotels. The restaurant has waiters who are always willing to collect your dirty dishes and serve you with drinks as often as you need, the rooms are clean, the sheets and bleach are always changed. Sandy beach. What is not enough for the given hotel is the entertainment, once every 2 days there is live music, nothing else. The location is also good, close to the city of Rethymno where in 30 minutes you are right in the center of the city.
I do not hesitate to thank the head chef Kiriacus, the restaurant manager Mihail who always makes sure to ask you if everything is fine and who is willing to help you with any question or problem, the waiters who never cease to be at your disposal, as well as the bartender Vagellis which is very cute.

I rather recommend to stay away from this hotel. The main reason is unpleasent odour of sewerage after turning air conditioner. I changed rooms 3 times and problem was still real and due to that odour I was not able to use air conditioner during heats. As a result I got sun stroke and landed in medical clinic. Also note that hotel is under renovation so noise is insane, forget about relax. Apart from that some of rooms have paint odour and are not equipped in tv as renovation has not ended. Better get use to wake up super early to book a sunbed, at 7 AM beach is empty but all sunbeds are reserved.

Food was bearable but cold and nothing fancy. I would expect much more taking into consideration it is 5 stars hotel and Rainbow Tours Travel Agency has an ownership. The only plus is for staff who were professional and tried to help.
But all in all this stay was a perfect definition of nightmare vacation.

It's a nice hotel situated on the beach! Very clean, friendly staff! Though the food wasn't that great 6/10, the service at the canteen was impeccable.
The hotel is also close to the highway and there's too much noise in the night in those rooms facing the highway.
Limited car parking for such a big hotel.

Within Greece, an excellent hotel.
Why? Because everything is new and modern. The cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms is at very high level.
Towels changed every day, a great advantage is the possibility to choose when you want to clean the room.
Head of service who serves at breakfast, lunch and dinner is a great guy, friendly and helpful. Nothing is a problem for him and his team.
Also the lady bartender at the beach bar is great, friendly and smiling.
And now the minuses: a bit too far from some bigger town or city center, the surroundings of the hotel give a bad impression. Streets are dirty, but that's not so much the hotel's problem, it just kind of belongs to Greece.
Another minus is that can't pour yourself any kind of drink, from water to coffee. You have to ask for coffee and all drinks.
The biggest minus is that you don't have a guaranteed place on a sunbed by the sea, you have to fight for a sunbed every day.
Overall though, the hotel is quiet, the food quite varied and for a week's holiday it's good value for money.

We had made a reservation for our honeymoon from September 12, 2023, to September 19, 2023. However, upon our arrival at the hotel, we were notified of an overbooking situation, and consequently, we were relocated to another establishment, namely the Rethymno Mare Royal & Water Park. Our initial preference for the White Olive hotel was largely influenced by its beachfront location and its appealing amenities.
Regrettably, the replacement room we were allocated was not properly cleaned, and the quality of services provided at this alternative hotel fell significantly short of our expectations. In light of our experience, I would not recommend this establishment.
In summary, we paid for a set of services which we ultimately did not receive, thereby leaving us dissatisfied with our stay.
Below, you will find images of the alternative hotel in which we were accommodated, as it was offered to us as an alternative to the White Olive, the entire payment was made to white olive.
In addition, we received a trip as a gift, but that does not compensate for the services
