Grecotel LUX.ME White Palace​

Great location, great food options, although buffet food a bit tepid. Local taxis, even those booked by hotel charge €95 for airport transfers yet hotel insists price of their taxi "partners" is €130. After spending €1000s to stay here the captive audience profiteering is the reason I've only gave 4 stars.

Superb hotel and resort, with excellent restaurants and customer service. The pool areas are lovely and the beach is sandy with a beautiful, clear and warm sea.

We had the privilege of spending our honeymoon here for 11 unforgettable days. From the very first moment of arrival to the second of goodbye, we were consistently blown away. Not just by the beauty of the resort, but by the genuine kindness and unwavering helpfulness. The team at this resort doesn’t just excel in hospitality, they redefine it. “Going the extra mile” seems to be part of their DNA. They anticipate needs before you even become aware of them yourself. From housekeeping to management, from the restaurants to the poolside service, everyone shares one goal: to make you feel relaxed, special, and completely carefree. A special shout out to (tall) Maria and Antigoni from the Sunset Lounge Bar. Not only did they perform their work flawlessly, but they always made time for a warm conversation and brought laughter with them wherever they went. Thank you, ladies, you truly made our days even brighter. So, if you're looking for a place that feels like paradise and where your worries melt away, look no further. This is not just a resort, it’s an experience, a memory, and for us, the perfect beginning of our married life. Thank you, Grecotel, for giving us the honeymoon of a lifetime. Amazing totally worth the price and the staff are absolutely wonderful especially George who is the manager of the main restaurant and everything is cleaned and fresh

I’d like to start off with the architecture, whoever came up with the way they built the hotel, well done. Absolute paradise. Staff wise, excellent service, from housekeeping to maintenance team to waiters, receptionists, my god. Absolutely amazing ! Amazing people, making paradise land better and better every day ! I’d like to give a massive shout out to the wonderful lady named Syvania ( do apologies if I messed your name up) she’s an amazing housekeeper, give her a raise ! Also another sweet soul that brightened our day every day, is Peejay? I’m sorry for probably messing up that name too, such a sweet lad. Zakaria , sports instructor, keep up the good work ! Now, there’s a lady I’d like to give a massive shout out to for going absolute above and beyond, Christina, the lady that has black hair and a blonde stripe at the front, works in the evenings in the buffet area. She’s an absolute bomb. Thank you ! For everything! Thank you team, for creating the paradise that you do every day , every hour, thank you for the energy and time you put into creating such heaven.

Our second visit to White Palace and our third using Grecotel. Cleanliness, good food and helpful staff are the key ingredients to any hotel and the White Palace delivers. We stayed 10 nights and frankly didn’t want to return home. We had a wonderful holiday and will always consider the Grecotel brand when visiting Greece. A big thank you to all the staff there - terrific, all of them.

We are approaching the end of our 9 night break at this hotel and we have had a lovely time. We booked a Petit Yali Suite which has its own private terrace with chairs and loungers and access to a shared infinity pool. The room - The room is beautiful, spacious, well air conditioned, nice shower, plenty of hanging space. The cleaners do a fantastic job and we really liked the night time staff visit who always left bottles of water, clean towels and sweets on the bed, my wife and I called them the fairies. The infinity pool - Beautiful pool with picture perfect views across the sea. We enjoyed spending our time here during the day. We were a little disappointed that the pool drinks service didn’t extend to this pool, considering the amount of extra money spent to stay in the Yali Collection we felt it should have some pool service. Our neighbour felt the same and contacted reception and to the hotels credit a member of staff visited frequently to take drinks orders (he was getting very well tipped by us and others which was lovely for him as he worked so hard). One small thing that hotel could do is to erect a sign near the entrance to the infinity pool by the dove centre and beach, stating that the pool is for guests of 406 to 419 only. I only say this as frequently people came up off the beach and jumped in the pool without washing sand off them. Main pool - The main pool is line something you’d see in a movie, truly spectacular. The only downside for us as a couple who have older children now was the number of young children in the pool. Some of them didn’t have a volume switch and were so loud. I think the hotel should consider making the main pool adult only (over 16’s). There s a dedicated kids pool and an activity pool, I therefore think an area for adults like us who are after a peaceful break would be of benefit. Food - The biggest breakfast, lunch and dinner was well presented, fresh and tasty. I quite liked that there isn’t rows and rows of food, instead a smaller selection that is of higher quality was nice to see. The Italian for lunch was pleasant, even better on the evening. The White was stunning, glorious food and presentation. The Tavernaki was dissatisfying, we waited a long time for our food, only had one waitress visit to ask if wanted a drink once and when the main course arrived it was barely warm. Not a great experience so we cancelled our visit there for later in our trip. The stand out restaurant for us was Asia White, the most attentive and friendly staff, superb service and delicious food, the crispy duck and salmon were awesome. We are looking forward to going there again for our final night. Staff - From checking in we felt special, a cold towel, a glass of of rose bubbles, the reception team and guest services team are the BEST I have ever encountered. The maintenance teams cleaning the pools and cleaning trams and ground keepers looking after the pathways and beautiful surrounding,

We had an amazing stay at Grecotel Lux Me White! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, stylish, and offers a truly relaxing atmosphere. What really made our experience exceptional, though, was the warm and welcoming staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, always smiling and ready to help with anything we needed. A special thank you to the General Manager, who was always present, approachable, and genuinely cared about the guests’ experience. It’s rare to feel so well looked after — we can’t wait to come back!

We had the most wonderful experience with our 2 sons. The hotel and it's staff were accommodating in every way, the food was delicious and my sons absolutely loved it especially the kids club too. We are looking forward to coming back and highly recommend this hotel.

We are currently staying at the Luxme White and whilst there is no denying the luxury of this hotel I am shocked to find there is no air conditioning in the rooms!! When we asked, were told that summer air conditioning has not been started yet, so originally only hot air was blowing out. This in spite of temperatures being 27-29 degrees. There is also no air conditioning in the large buffet restaurant, which is uncomfortable at meal times. Our other main issue and has really impacted our stay was the overall service and wait for drinks and dirty plates to be taken away in restaurants. It takes anything from 20-45 minutes to wait for a drink around the pool area (so be sure to order double) However would like to say how great the guys behind the lobby bar are, attentive and really welcoming. Although I have listed the bad points, which are quite major in my opinion, the good points are numerous and I would definitely return and recommend this hotel if I could guarantee the air conditioning.
